I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

I just bought a new laptop and downloaded Firefox as I have used it for years. Although I imported my passwords and they are correct it will not log in to sites I need for work. It isn't telling me I have the wrong pw or id, it just does nothing.

I have updated windows, I have uninstalled and reinstalled....I don't know what else to do...any suggestions?

Hi I am a longtime user of your browser. I have version 124.0.2(64 bit) installed on three devices. First thing I do on opening it is to click on "about", which normally updates the browser, before I do any browsing. In the last three weeks, however, it has not updated on any of the three devices, rather, it says "Failed to check for updates". I have tried the workarounds suggested at your Help center, and nothing has worked. What gives, may I ask? Thank you

In windows 10, unrepeatably, firefox won't open google so I immediately open it in a new tab and it works. This happens randomly so I can't do any tests to find out if it is an extension or hardware acceleration that is the problem.

I've been noticing that when I click History > Clear Recent history, after clicking and going back to History, it hasn't removed everything. I have Firefox on my Android phone which is set to clear history upon close. For for unknown reasons, its leaving sites from both desktop and phone apps after clearing.

I'm running Firefox v 115.9.1esr on my Mac.

Any ideas?

For one site I go to there is an internal menu where I should be able to scroll down. In Firefox, there is no option on the right side for me to scroll down...but in Chrome I have no problem. The owner of the website said it should work in Firefox but it's not. I have attached images from the 2 browsers. I have attached 2 screenshots. For Chrome you can see to the right of the numbers under the Acct # column that I can scroll down. But in Firefox I don't have that option to scroll down to see entries at the bottom of the list.

Help! How can I fix this so I can scroll down in Firefox for this sub-menu item?

Accidentally closed browser with many multiple tabs open. Tried to restore history but option was grayed out. Tried several times but was not able to get back to the original browsing window with the multiple open tabs.

Would really appreciate help on this, if possible, as the many multiple tabs contained family history research that will be difficult to impossible to duplicate.

been getting a printing error the last couple days this message "error occurred while printing". Printer then puts out partial page(s) then stops printing. been trying to print copies of tax forms ( 11 pages)?? page that print shows Firefox in top left corner of page. Today same problem with a four page email print job.

I am trying to block myself from checking on my old employer's website, and I need to block myself from being able to go to their web page. How do I block a specific website? I do not want to access this site, and I find myself checking the site. I sound nuts, I know. But this is for my own good.

Hello, I've got a reproduction issue on France TV live programs which I watch through nordvpn. The picture keeps "jumping" fast up and down in a very bothering way. This doesn't happen when the video is NOT live. I run the latest version of LINUX MINT. What can I do to fix it? The only way I found to stop the issue is to take down the resolution of the live video to its minimum which gives me a disastrous picture but stops the "jumping". I guess you might say there is something wrong with my GPU. The point is that my PC is brand new with an AMD 5600G, new MB, 16Gb of RAM and 500w of PSU. BUT more than anything I have to say that everything WORKS FINE with CHROME. I like FIREFOX I have been using it literally for decades now. (I'm 75). Is there a solution? Starting with Firefox v115, you had to set layout.css.page-size.enabled to false in about:config to get the page orientation back for printing PDFs (i.e. Portrait or Landscape).

It seems with the release of v119, this once again is broken and the layout.css.page-size.enabled setting no longer works. Is there something else that needs to be done now? We rely heavily on this and our current workaround is installing the ESR version of Firefox but seems like it'll catch up eventually.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Attempted to login to Canada Revenue Agency and it told me that Java Script had to be activated in the browser. How do I determine if it is activated and how do I activate it if it is not. bold text

when I try to click drop down menus on rpg mo, like settings/game options or anything in the gear drop down menu it wont let me click. I can't play rpg mo is there a reason for this like is it not html they are using but it works on windows? I am using suse linux leap.

This is an old question, but now over the time i can be more specific with this problem. What i know now in windows 10: - with firefox ESR sandboxie works fine all the time (now I use v 115.8.0); - with current firefox (v123) what happens is, after install current version, every time i open firefox, it works fine, but if i select "pause forcing programs", to change something in firefox, this means open firefox without sandboxie, now the first time i open firefox again sandboxie, it´s freeze, and can´t use for this moment now firefox sandboxie. Only works without sandboxie.

How most of the the "serious" articles of those recommended come from moderately left to very left sources. The well-intentioned but hopelessly misguided (and often destructive) selections from the NYT, Atlantic, Vox, New Yorker, etc. are of little little interest or use to me. Please consider articles and opinion pieces from the WSJ. American Spectator, NR, etc. as well. You might just increase revenue and profit. Thanks! Ted Alpert
