With vertical tabs and expand on hover, clicking on the X box rarely closes the tab. Sometimes I have success if the pointer is on the left or right line of the box. Not having luck on the center of the box. Has been true for several weeks. With hover off, clicking the X works fine. I am running Windows 11.

How to search for installed (both enabled and disabled) addons extensions in Firefox browser like chrome does via "chrome://extensions/" in 2025?

It is quite surprising that in 2024-25, firefox still doesnt have any option to search for installed addons via "about:addons". You can only search for addon site, not for those installed on your device and profile and browser.

Is firefox team really updating their browser for 2025 when compared to chrome?

I hope this message finds you well. I am in urgent need of assistance regarding a Linux-based system where we have the Firefox browser installed. I need to establish a secure connection with one of my servers, which requires the installation of a certificate.

However, I am unable to locate the certificate export button in the certificate view or anywhere else in the browser. I have tried several methods without success.

Could you please help me with this issue as soon as possible? Your guidance would be greatly appreciated.

When i try to insert a screenshot through the clipboard on google or yandex image search, the original image is corrupted. Even i try to upload an image via classic upload-button the same problem reproduise. On other sites there is no similar problem, as well as trying to insert the same image but inside the application windows.

I read online that Firefox is planning on implementing AI features. Given the track record of AI in other browsers leaking private information, bogging down connectivity, and generally being a nuisance towards users, I was wondering if there will be opt out features in future updates? Or know of forum threads that will update with tutorials on how to turn off AI features?

If not, does anyone on this forum have recommendations for no-ai browsers?

Since the penultimate and now the last current update to version 127.0.2 (64Bit), the button (tile with the + sign) to add new shortcuts is no longer available. How can new shortcuts be added now?

I clicked on a link in an email and FF began opening it. It then stopped and gave a message that the site was causing FF to run slow. That was an understatement, as FF never continued and didn't fully open the site. I copied the URL to Chrome and it had no problem quickly opening the site. What do I need to fix in FF to make it happy again? I am looking to turn on review checker and cannot see how to do it. I don't have the price tag icon displayed nor do I have any reference to Review Checker in my settings. I'm wondering if my version of Firefox supports it (133.0). Any ideas?

firefox changed and firefox nolonger lets me get my email, bank account, fidelity account, credit card account etc -- can you help me go back to my old firefox? thank you or do I need to start using another browser?

Hello dear community! My firefox keeps crashing when trying to open a tab or close a tab. I can't replicate it since it happens on random tab-closing and tab-opening. I think it's just crashing when doing something like clicking anywhere and NOT when doing nothing while the system is idling. Thank you for your help! Whenever i search something on google, firefox desktop (all fine on android) is failing to display the ai(gemini) answer no matter what questions i ask.

Same happens in the "AI Mode" option that is available in google's recent update.

And, I,m logged in.

This started since a week, everything was working fine before that.
