The latest version of Firefox (installed today) just crashes when trying to open any tab and will not reload anything. How can I reload the last working version? Kind regards Stephen.

I don't think the install finished correctly I am sending this from Chrome.

Hello, the official mozilla page instructions for how to download Firefox for Linux (Debian 13) is wrong, it fails on Step 3 saying that the key verification is incorrect thus I have not tried the steps after 3.

I know Debian 13 comes with Firefox ESR but from my research this is packaged and maintained by Debian, I would prefer it if all my eggs were not in one basket and I actually had the real source maintainer updating my browser aka Mozilla.

I don't know what else to say, it is just incorrectly written or something, because Brave Browsers installation instructions are SOO much better and simpler, super easy works 10/10 times, and it's way fewer commands.

Hello I have had Mozilla firefox for yrs and love it. I have Proton VPN too. I just saw your note to update to mozilla VPN. I tried to do it but message said 'you already have mozilla" , 'do you wnat to replace?" The amazing to me as I would think this the questions come up to numerous people who are trying to replace it Or rather get your VPN. As my title says i cant move Firefox from desktop because it is *the* browser file not a shortcut, and every time i try to move it to any different folder it just creates a shortcut in said folder. I asked Copilot how to reinstall it, set it in actual search mode so i could have 100% reliable steps, nothing worked! >:ε

so im asking yall if there is a way to fix it, thanks in advance

Resolved Update: apparently cat cannot write to /etc. Resolved by using:

sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mozilla.sources <<eof types: deb uris: https: packages.mozilla.org apt suites: mozilla components: main signed-by: etc keyrings packages.mozilla.org.asc eof < p></eof>

The instructions need updating!

I am following the instructions in section "Install Firefox from Mozilla Repository (Recommended)" at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/run-firefox-chromeos At step 4 I am receiving a permission denied error: "-bash: /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mozilla.sources: Permission denied" I am not sure how to resolve or continue.

Last command and output:

This was a WIN 10 but has been professionally upgraded to 11 two times with last just a week ago. I have run Firefox as chose browser for years. Now they keep bumping me off & back on Google. Have tried to ID Firefox as chosen but they don't seem to hear. Even with Firefox symbol on my screen, now I click on it and Google comes up.

 Have tried downloading again without success.  Ff will not show up in a Program search.

What to do?????

I can't get my Firefox icon to go to my desktop and become active. I also cannot uninstall Mozilla - it just allows me to attempt to repair it. My icon also shows Firefox 2 for some reason.
