For example, on Xfinity when I try to view a video clip in says that is is loading and will stay as loading for an hour or more. I have downloaded and installed the latest Adobe Flash player from Adobe and it still does not load. Another site I am having this problem with is AARP. I contacted them and they stated that the problem was with Firefox and how it is handling the Flash Player. If I use IE things work fine, however, I don't like IE and would prefer Firefox.

I am using Windows 10, and Firefox 43.0.3

This only started earlier last week, or late the week before. EVERY YouTube video, does not matter which one, who uploaded it, or when it was originally uploaded, EVERY video causes Firefox to hang for up to 10-15 seconds, ever time. And it hangs a second time if I scroll down far enough to load the comments section. So far, all I've seen being used now is the HTML5 player on YouTube, so it's something with that possibly. Regardless, it is incredibly frustrating.

Is this due to something changing with the last couple updates to FireFox, or a plugin I have being out of date (even though they all say they're fine)? If not, is there anything I can do to fix it?

I have tried everything, including the stuff I read on the forums, but Yahoo keeps preventing me from following links on search results. If I type the address manually I still get that stupid yahoo page, this does not happen with Safari. I am not a fan of Safari but I do not like Firefox when it doesn't work and this is happening more and more. Also I am having trouble uploading a screenshot here, what's up with that? My internet connection is fine.

First off, I love Mozillla. Enough to try and solve this issue rather than just using another browser.

But it is starting to eat up my time. I got a bunch of spyware yesterday and have spent hours removing it all. I think I have cleaned my computer now.

But Firefox will crash on each and every page with flash on it. I have read a bunch of issues but nothing works.

I keep trying to reset Firefox, enter it in safe mode, disable add-on/plug-ins and nothing works.

When I pull up a youtube video, the video stays on a black screen and the video thumbnails are plain white. Also loading is almost instantly stopped when pulling up a video. When I visit other websites (Gaia Online mainly) and I scroll over a tab that would normally drop down a list of links to click on, nothing is dropped/opened.

Firefox/Flash seems to crash at least a couple of times a day.

I updated Flash in Firefox 42.0 to version 2.0.0.235. It crashed 90% of the time, even with hardware acceleration off. It does not crash with Flash Protected Mode turned off. I then updated Firefox to 43.0. Flash crashes every time, even with Flash Protected Mode off. No Flash problems on this Win-10 PC with Microsoft Edge or Chrome. Seems that FIrefox 43 and Flash are incompatible. Hopefully Mozilla and/or Adobe will fix in the next release.

Shockwave player stopped working in Firefox 49.0.1

I just updated Adobe Flash Player to the latest version 23.0.0.185 on my Windows 10 laptop using Firefox 49.0.1. When I ran the test page from Adobe (http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/), I noticed that the new Flash Player was working, but my Shockwave Player was not. I found a newer version of Shockwave Player 12.2.5.195 and installed that. Still no go. I uninstalled Shockwave Player from Control Panel, rebooted, and reinstalled the new version of Shockwave Player. Still no go. I know this was working the last time I updated Flash Player, which was mid last month. However, it has stopped working. The list of Addons shows the new version of Shockwave for Director installed and active. I set it to always activate, but the test page still shows nothing.

I tried Shockwave in IE, and it works fine there. Does anyone have any idea why Shockwave Player would stop working? Is some plugin possibly blocking it? I do have NoScript but allowed on the Adobe Test page. I also have Adguard which is new, but I see no settings there that would affect it. Thanks.

Using Windows 10, FF 55.0.3, Shockwave plugin 27.0.0.130, Adobe Flashplayer 27 NPAPI.

I am using Adobe Bridge and select to preview a gallery in the browser. Bridge will let FF start and then I get the message (in FF), that there is no flash player installed. I installed many many times, as decribed here in several messages, so often the flash player. I also did the steps described by the college student "ComputerWhiz" (=Wesley Branton) here: https://support.mozilla.org/nl/questions/1037689 (renaming pluginreg.dat). I disabled my virus scanner (E-Set). Also I deactivate in FF all the Extensions (to be sure no one causes a conflict), restarted FF but still FF does not recognize the flash player.

Please help me and do not give answers like to find out which flashplayer version I have or where to download flashplayer. Just an answer straight to the point why FF does not recognize the installed Adobe Flashplayer and how to solve it. Thx in advance

I have been having frequent issues accessing certain websites that I use daily for work. The only fix I have found is to update my adobe flash even though it is current. When I do that and Firefox restarts, I am then able to access these websites.

However, this is a huge burden and I'm ready to pull the plug on using Firefox unless someone has input.

Hopefully it is a quick fix that I'm just not noticing? Everything was fine until Monday 2/26/18. Since then I'm constantly having to fix it.

Flash Player 32.0.0.101 Firefox v64 (64-bit) Windows 10

With this configuration Flash content does not work.

On Windows 7 Enterprise, the same version of Flash Player and Firefox

It looks like it is trying to load under Windows 10 but ultimately what is displayed is a blank screen.

Is anyone else running Windows 10 with Firefox and Flash Player and getting it to work. I cannot post the URL because the application is a inhouse application and requires logging in.

I recently bought a new Lenovo UltraHD Windows 10 computer (http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/ideapad/y700-series/y700-15-inch/). I've now found out that apparently there are several scaling/blurry issues with Windows 10 and software apps that have not yet been updated to the new OS. Firefox has also been experiencing a scaling problem, but only when I watch videos online, such as ESPN.com. As you can see below, the video controls are super tiny and hard to see. I've contacted other 3rd party software apps and they have provided me with some fixes to this issue and I'm hoping Firefox can do the same.

Thanks and Happy Holidays!
