I would like to sing in to youtube.com but not google search or any other google related services.

I tried Enhanced Tracking Protection, strict & custom block all third party cookies & privacy.firstparty.isolate = true. but none of that could prevent me from getting singed in to all google.com services automatically when I sing in to youtube.com.

Is there any way to achieve that without installing add-ons?

My Firefox just updated to version 89.00b3 this morning, and now my Gmail messages look terrible and are not rendering properly.

Newsletters from the Washington Post, Baltimore Sun and Next Door are not formatting correctly, with the text extending as a single line off the screen. Some lines don't start at the left edge, but don't begin until three-quarters across the window. A title line that should be centered and word-wrapped is displayed as a centered single line, with the left and right portions cut off by the window and not visible.

These same messages appear fine in Chrome, and Firefox had no problems yesterday, so it must be the update that 'broke' HTML rendering of the newsletters.

I'm currently on firefox developer edition with the system theme. I've just now upgraded to latest version (v. 89.0b3 64 bit).

Everything is fine except the tab title of the current tab. The color is right but the shape is wrong. It should be rectangular but instead all four corners are rounded. Moreover, it's not connected to the rest of the page so there is a gap between the background color of the current tab (grey) and the background color of the page (black) making the whole thing look like it's floating around the browser space (see attached screenshot).

I've also noted that the top bar, the ones containing the title tabs and the main icons (close, enlarge, minimize) has become huge!

So my questions are:

- Is there a way to have rectangular tab titles again? If not possible through options, is there an add-on I can use? I search the add-ons page but the themes I found are for changing colors, they do nothing for the shape of the tabs. - How can I shrink the top bar?

Thanks

Meanwhile, we know that Mozilla doesn't give a damn about anyone else's privacy either. This is partly due to continuous data sharing with Google and so on. Also the fact that Mozilla has no contact possibilities, they prefer not to get feedback apparently, shows that they don't care about the customer.

But now it gets even worse, the Nightly version now starts up automatically (without actually opening) with Windows. And immediately wants to share data with third party servers, I can see from the notification of my firewall. How can I turn this off?

And the new layout, with all its unnecessary extra space, doesn't look good at all. Yet another failure of Mozilla. It is that there is no better browser, but otherwise...

The latest update 89.0b3 broke my entire workflow and actually leaves me wondering, if programmers at Mozilla never search the web for errors - am I the only one getting errors during compile time? It's now nearly impossible to use Firefox efficiently to search for errors during coding. As can be seen in your press screenshots (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/about-new-tab-page) there used to be a "Search the web" bar on the new tab page in addition to the "Search or enter web address" URL bar. As their descriptions say, the search bar always triggered a web search - this is a feature i regularly used (~50 times on a work day), which has now been removed. Why? Because Firefox often recognizes my search queries as keywords to trigger the system handler, because they contain a ":". This is often the case with error messages of compilers, as in "ImportError: cannot import name". Instead, both bars show the same description "Search or enter web address" and work the same. Please tell me, how can I restore my search-only-bar, or is a bug report needed to revert changes/introduce a configuration option?

Hey,

When entering a password on some website, I have a dropdown list of all saved passwords for this website and every saved password has the "from this website" line under it. This makes the dropdown list extremely long (in terms of its height).

I would love to get rid of the sign "from this website", so that I see a more compact list of saved passwords without those useless lines "from this website".

I have already turned off the "signon.includeOtherSubdomainsInLookup" feature, all that is left to make the dropdown list of passwords look normal (just like it used to be before all the new pointless changes).

I hope more experienced firefox users can help me make my browser more user-friendly to me.

Hello all. Why has FireFox been degrading lately? What's going on? What happens to the only browser on the planet? Why has the new design lost icons and does not allow you to use the thin strip of the bar? Where did the page view button go and why you should follow it into the general menu under the headline of the window or open it on hot keys? Especially what happens with DoH, where did the set-up network.trr.bootstrapAddress in about:config disappear? I kept hoping that the white lights would be fixed when I started and opened the new tab, but it still remains, do I still have WaterFox to continue using or what? Which by the way for some reason is further optimized under the various instructions of the processor unlike the original, which gives a great performance when using a decent set of extensions with a large blocklist of the ad blocker.

Hi,

in our Organization it happened to two User that they cannot use Firefox anymore for external Sites. We upgraded to Firefox 78.9.0 ESR on 08.04.2021 but the issue happened Today. Our internal DNS is only resolving internal Domains. I copied the Profile of one affected User to test it on one of my devices with the Same Version Firefox has a auto Proxy Configuration URL set. When i try to load the URL manually nothing happens as in screenshot2. I also verified it with Wireshark. No HTTP Request is send to the IP. In about:networking I can see that the Domain is resolved screenshot 3. When i try to use the IP it works screenshot 4 When i use the IP in the "auto Proxy Configuration URL " it also works.

When i create a new Profile the Domain Name and the URL both work.

How can I find the cause of this issue ?

Kind Regards Marco Hald
