firefox browser vers. 87.0

Previous Version When you rightclick on a grafic i found in the context menu "grafic info" which shows width and hight.

Now in the 87.0 version this very usefull feature has been removed.

Please restore this function.

Meanwhile I am trying to roll bak to vers 82.02

I never delete history! But I noticed this since long time ago, e.g. I want to go on a website - I was recently on (if I closed it already) but it is not in immediate search history - it happened to me multiple times!

Also now: I was searching for one keyword a lot, like 50 times and in history are barely like 7 hits. No idea why it is not there!!!

Please help.

debian Linux 64bit,firefox 87 is fine. It's a problem with 88.0. try: firefox https://bing.com I can see the title changed,but blank webpage.

try: rm -fr ~/.mozilla run firefox 88.0 , same thing happens.

Installed version of Firefox browser is 87. When attempting to update from both the About window and the preferences it says 'Firefox is up to date' even though the current version is 95.

MacOS 10.15 with 64bit version installed. How can this issue be fixed? Or, what is the 'right' way to install latest version without removing installed version (so no settings/data is lost)?

This just started occurring on my PC when I use Firefox: why is the background of the address bar orange/yellow with diagonal stripes and there is a robot at the start of the web address? I'm concerned it may be a virus or the web browser is being remotely monitored.

Just a general question : firefox on windows I used to have lastpass as password manager. as they are moving out nice features from the free version to the payed version I switched to lockwise. But it does not maintain automatically your password. What password manager are you using ? does it have the maintain feature of updated password ? Thanks for all recommendations Best regards, Guy

Suddenly, all the favicons for my bookmarks are lost. Maybe it's because of a HP Cleaning tool.

However: Why doesn't Firefox "reload" the favicons when I open the bookmarks? Can I force the favicons to be re-loaded?

I have noticed that if I leave an empty firefox tab open after sometime the empty tab somehow would start using a large amount of RAM. I don't know if it is expected behaviour or not. I came to know about this problem as I use a laptop and I very rarely put it to sleep, so my laptop would idle out on charging with a empty firefox tab open and it would start out with consuming reasonable amount of RAM but after I return mabye after 20 minutes and the RAM usage would skyrocket to about a gig for only firefox with that empty tab. I do have 4 add-ons installed but firefox behaves the same when I restart it in safe mode. Any help is very much appreciated.

Trying to use a virtual terminal for my credit card processing for my business but firefox is not giving access to share location to the site even after I have manually allowed location sharing. This is the message I receive when I try to use the terminal: Sorry, we can’t load Virtual Terminal. We couldn't access your location. Hi guys~ for some reasons I can't add bookmarks on my firefox browsers. At first, the marked webpage will only show names but not the link, when i click on the bookmarks that i saved it won't direct me to page. Now even worse, the bookmark function doesn't work at all. I tried restore all my settings and redownloaded firefox three times, it's always the same problem. Also the history function doesn't store my current browsing history at all. I 100% sure I didn't change anything at the privacy section.

Since most content is in English and search engines always link to the English version, I usually browse the english version of mozilla pages. But here on support in particular I have to contend with the pathetic date format where you can't tell which is day or month or year. So why can't I find a way to set the date format. Even the majority of tiny websites/forums have an option to specify the date format.

Any idea why it is taking such a long time to get the updated version of FB Purity, 33.6 plug-in approved so that the end user (me) can download it? Firefox currently only recognizes 33.2. It is available for Edge and Chrome. I prefer not to get tangled with the other options. If I do, it's probably going to be to dump FF altogether.

Translation I can no longer call up any image information on a website by clicking the image with the right mouse button. So far it was always possible.

So one day Firefox just stopped responding, it started responding again, but now it just randomly stops and then starts again a few seconds later. Bitdefender detects no viruses and I tried disabling all extentions and addons. I have an Intel Core i9-10900K, an RTX 2070 SUPER, and 32GB of RAM, so that isn't the problem, but I did observe that when it stops responding, logical processors 2, 12, 14, and 15 spike in usage.

Hello, i set up 2 step verification on my Firefox account (using Authenticator application), but not possible to connect Authenticator app with Firefox account scanning QR code...

All of a sudden I'm getting the Yahoo maiil ID changed to Google Mail with out any authorisation on my part ? I know Google owns Yahoo. I use Yahoo mail all the time and Yahoo is my ID for many applications so why has this happened ? If something like this can change unknowns to me does this mean that Google has control of my MAC and FireFox and its content .??

I'm trying to paste text into a text field so that I can list stuff for sale on eBay. When I paste what I've written in my word processor (LibreOffice) the text I paste will not change to the text style I have preset in the text field for my eBay listing. If I were doing this in another word processor I would be able to use a Paste Special command so that the text I'm pasting would automatically change to fit the text style already in use in the document.

Does Firefox not support this ???? Why Not?????

I have been trying to find a solution for this problem for several months with zero results.

I use duckduckgo search. No matter what I search for, or how I word it I get "results" from 3 - 5 websites (2 of which are usually amazon & youtube - even though I'm not shopping or looking for a video). None of the non-results are remotely relevant, but they are the only results I get... Duplicated... Until I hit the "no more results" brick wall. And speaking of youtube... When I am looking for a video (audiobooks usually) my "results" consist of 3 or 4 channels (always the same 3 or 4). I get several videos from each of the channels & duplicates of those same videos then I slam up against the "no more results" brick wall.

I've cleared caches & cookies & stored data. I've deleted search history, cleared search history, paused search history, etc... Those things produce no changes whatsoever. I searched (at a friend's house on her computer) for information. The results might or might not have been relevant. It involves inserting great huge heaps of java-script into my machine. In spite of being computer illiterate, I'm not stupid. So, no I didn't copy or paste any script or download anything.

Everything I know about computers I had to figure out for myself. The most important discovery I made is that the way computers function is perfectly logical - frequently unreasonable, but always logical. That's why although I am computer-illiterate, I'm not computer-dysfunctional. I've been able to make laptops, tablets & android phones do things the experts & professionals said were impossible. But if people try to explain stuff to me by speaking computer code, all I hear is whah, whah, whah (like in the way grownups talk in the Charlie Brown cartoons).

I sincerely appreciate any information or suggestions anyone can offer. Just give it to me in plain english. I'm an intelligent adult who grew up in a socially-insignificant school district.

Hi, I've been using the Mozilla Firefox browser for a while now and I have noticed that i can not use my microphone to speak anywhere. For example, I can't speak what I want to say on Google Translate, & I can't talk in voice chats on Discord (random examples). It always says that voice input is not supported. May I know why your browser doesn't support voice input?
