Hi everyone,

I have this message that appears on every web page but my connection is fine: "you must log in to this network before you can access the internet". It appeared I don't know how (maybe after using my VPN?) and I can't get rid of it. Any idea?

In advance, thanks a lot.

When I press ctrl+shift+s, I get a menu in the upper-right corner of the browser. It has a “Save full page” option. However, I still have to go and click on that.

Is there a shortcut to just directly take a screenshot of the whole page? Is there a way to configure such a shortcut if there isn’t one by default?

Thanks!

Hi everyone,

I updated to macOS Big Sur yesterday and now I got display issue on websites that use the Roboto font (like Youtube, Trello, Google Translate, etc.)

As you can see on the attached screenshot, the font is now always displayed BOLD and in a weird way.

I reinstalled the Roboto font on my mac but it did nothing. Everything is working fine with other web-browsers.

Can someone help me ?

Thanks by advance.

Best regards. Adrian

Good evening

This error has just occurred and it is strange because i have visited the site 5 times today. This is the financial platform that i use to manage my investments. As a result of this lock-out by Firefox i have been blocked and cannot complete some re-investment transactions. While i appreciate your concerns for my safety, i cannot accept that you may summarily lock me out of a trusted website without any option on my side to override it. I hope you guys aren't going to end up like the other technocrats. How can i overcome this?

In the meantime i shall useed another browser.

Secure Connection Failed

A Secure Connection Failed error page will include a description of the error, an option to report the error to Mozilla and a Try Again button. There is no option to add a security exception to bypass this type of error.

[ ]A url given within Microsoft support ... community.windows.com/en-us/stories/quick-start-guide-to-windows-10 does not return query within the different Firefox Browser,at the Address Bar entry. Using Edge, and another user, the query is returned from (Microsoft.com) . I would like to believe that URLs are not 'browser specific .

[ ] Im looking at this,as DuckDuckGo returned nothing in a search. Bing returned the site in a search as a URL. Perhaps farther in the que at DuckDuckGo ?

[ ]When wanting to report this 'problem, the About 'Report Deceptive site, defaults to a 'Google Report deceptive site.

[ ]Return to DuckDuckGo. The URL then shows directly at top of Search Results immediately. Microsoft.com search then doubles my problem by appending the end of this url.. Im using the clear URLs add-on.

[ ]I would expect the same result to exist between different Browser Address entries, whoever user, and whichever search engine.... I've seemed to get old results all the time.

Yesterday I sorted and deleted bookmarks in the sidebar. I also deleted most of the bookmarks in the top ribbon (some were moved to the sidebar). Today all the deleted bookmarks came back into the top ribbon after I visited a couple of new webpages. I have also noticed earlier that some bookmarks that I delete in the sidebar keep coming back again the next time I open Firefox. If these are bookmarks that I have moved, they now appear in both the old and new place.

d/l an HP update (my computer & printer)& my blank screen has been replaced with pics from Bing (my preferred browser). it also screwed up a few other things but i mostly fixed them. went into about:config, found blank screen, set it to true but every time i go into a new tab, those stupid pics come back & not my blank screen. its been too long since i did anything in about:config & just can't remember how to fix this.

oh yeah, it took out the stuff at the top of my screen like cut, copy, paste & when i put printer back, it is faded out & will no longer work.

Help!

My new laptop had a new install of Firefox when I received it, running on a Windows 10 OS. When I installed my bookmarks from a previous back-up (my previous laptop had died) the new installation assigned wrong web addresses to each and every bookmark title. I've tried everything that I can think of to reload my bookmarks and tried to make sense of the help in your FAQ pages. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox but the same issue occurs. The correct titles for my bookmarks appear in the right place, as I'd assigned in my previous laptop. However all the icons are like an empty, wire world icon and most of them don't activate. The ones that do activate a link take me to an entierly unrelated website. When I look at the individual bookmarks under Bookmarks/show all bookmarks, are all incorrect. Many of my passwords still work but some don't. I cannot bookmark a new page - there is just no response at all. I can't delete bookmarks from my Toolbar or from within the 'show all bookmarks' page. What is going on and how can I recover my bookmarks so that I have a functioning Firefox please? Help! I am wasting time both typing in new searches and in trying to fix this! I have even dismantled my old laptop and plugged in the old C Drive to my new one - the drive and all the old data is there and visible but this install of Firefox running on this machine will not accept even the old bookmark data! All the json files that I have seen have no identifying icon - just a blank rectangle as the icon for the file-type. I've even removed the very few plug-ins that I had and gone back to the original install state for Firefox without any joy! That's about as much fault-finding info this non-techie user can give. Over to you please!

Hi, can you help. All of a sudden when I search on google for example lets say a Samsung s20 when I click search it shows everything including pics and ad links then it sort of refreshes and removes the ads links, picture and review display on right hand side and rearranges the search links. This never used to happen. I have tried turning my adblockers off but it makes no difference. May I add it's not like this on Microsoft edge or my smartphone or tablet, it's only on my PC. I have attached 3 screenshots. Hope you can help. Regards Steve

Ever since I downloaded Firefox, I have been having an issue where when i click on a link from a search engine, it automatically opens the link in a new tab. I've looked around in the settings menu, but I couldn't find any way to alter it. The closest option would be to open link in new window, but I just want to open the link in the tab that I am currently in. I have tried going into about:config although I couldn't find any setting that successfully fixed the issue. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated!

Thanks! - T

I'm at my wits end. I've tried every fix I could find and Firefox is dramatically slower then Edge or Chrome. This happens with loading sites, like Amazon. Also, it often locks up/stops when typing (like right now) and it takes about 15 seconds for it to repond again.

First, I doubt it's a hardware or network issue, since it's happened on both my old archaic PC and now on my new PC (i9 CPU, Nvidia 2070 graphics card, 64gb RAM).

Here's some highlights of what I've tried so far: • Refreshing multiple times • Rebooting the PC • Doing all the Quick Tips on this website • Eliminating all extensions • Clearing all cookies and cash • ...

Also, I don't get any error codes. The tab icon just spins for a long time.

I'm hoping I'm missing something obvious, since I love Firefox.

Thanks and any help!
