And I have to go through a captcha process to get through. Oddly enough, I NEVER get this problem if I search (for exactly the same addresses) from within Google Chrome. Is this a Google scan to try and force back to Google Chrome?

scroll bar - how to change the alternative super thin scroll bar back to the default scroll bar?

Recently, I was on a web page and did something that caused the scroll bar to change from the default scroll bar to a super thin scroll bar with no up or down arrows at the top and bottom of the scroll bar. How do I make this page look like the default?

Hello, I want to open a PDF directly from Firefox - the university makes several uploads via the official website and in order not to waste time, I would like to click on it to open the PDF, it would already be opened. I already checked the box to remember my choice, but I always have to. I will be very happy with the help! :) #TakeCare

When I click on files or links in Firefox, the application gives me a long URL but does not open the file. This is a big nuisance. I want the content to open. CB

In settings the language is set to English (US) and all pages and menus, notices, etc., appear in that language.

No matter what I do (and I tried removing French) from the list of "alternative" languages in the menu, but though it can be selected, the "remove" button is not active.

I have attached a screen shot.

Firefox is downloading all PDFs that I open rather than opening them and then downloading/saving only the ones I need to save. I've adjusted my settings to "open with Adobe Acrobat DC" and don't see any further settings. I'm on a MacBookPro. TIA!!

I am trying to import passwords & logins from a .csv file to FF version 82.0 I have enabled "import from a file" option and have a .csv file which I exported from FF version 81.0 I believe. I click on import from a file and browse to the file, click Open, and the dialog box disappears, BUT, the passwords don't appear in FF Lockwise, even after I restart FF. Makes me want to switch to Chrome when crap like this happens, or rather doesn't happen. Any help and advice gratefully received.

I follow the recommendation to refresh firefox, but didn't know that my bookmars will be erased as well, as i bookmark important things to me. I've tried to restore bookmark in the library but it doesn't work, it said "unable to restore it" Please help!

My laptop hard drive stopped working and I switched to using a pc. I recovered all my files and downloaded Firefox and tried Sync to transfer my bookmark from the laptop to the pc but I do not see my bookmarks for Firefox. How can I transfer my old bookmarks and history to the pc?

Just now,I am no longer able to download youtube videos with Firefox . I contacted Savefromnet,and they tell me you no longer support their coding?? Any info on this please. Uasing version 82.0

When I try to access [https://www.surinenglish.com/] I got the following:

Forbidden. You don't have permission to access / on this server. Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. It has worked fine on this system and this browser before and still works fine in Vivaldi. No changes in AV software and no improvement when all extensions disabled. What could be causing it in FF (latest stable, Win 10)?

I use Firefox as default browser and cannot install Chrome. Downloaded Chrome and tried to install but I get 404 error message saying selected URL cannot be located on this server. I have cleared cache and cookies, didn't help.
