I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

I went in to Privacy & Security but couldn't find Forms and Autofill section there. I was using en-CA version but just switch to en-US version. Can't find it in both version.

Honestly, I have no idea how to describe it. I loved how when I played a video on Firefox, it wouldn't pop up with that annoying video title whenever I changed my volume. Now, when I'm watching a video or playing audio, this happens. And, it doesn't even get it right most of the time! Like for example, it does this instead! That's not even the page I'm on!

Is there any way for me to get rid of this? Thanks

I have used Firefox for 15+ years. But it's been 2 weeks since I'm able to sign into my hotmail account while using Firefox. Why is this? I've rebooted, I've cleared cache and cookies. Any suggestions would be great.

With FF 81, I see the PDF reader has switched to a light theme, and I don't see a way to switch back to dark theme, the way it was before. How do I do it?

Ever since IE changed to tabs on top firefox coders followed like mindless automatons without any regard to/for Mozilla community and users. We are sick and tired of being ignored. We want/need tabs bellow address bar. Now, tell us how to simply get tabs below address bar or tell the coders to provide us with the option. And, we don’t care about any excuses as previously provided or outright ignored by them.

I just updated Firefox to version 81.0 in Linux, Windows and Mac, but the credit card autofill option is still missing from the Preferences menu.

Beginning about a week or so ago, I can no longer read pages from the Guardian. The page loads correctly but it has no scroll bar and so I can't read the article. I can *see* the entire article by shrinking the text, so I know it is there. For example, this page:

is one that doesn't scroll [just to be clear: none do these days, but i just picked one, double checked that it couldn't scroll and posted it here]. I've looked at the page with ChrEdge and it renders [and scrolls] without a problem.

I haven't run into this problem with any other websites, so I dunno what's going wrong.

Unchecking a certain option in firefox breaks downloading for certain homepages:

Did a little research. This problem has appeared with rel/ver 79. The problem shows up as soon as the check mark is removed in the options. Which check mark? Well:

TOOLS

   OPTIONS
      GENERAL
          TABS
               uncheck the box "open links in tabs instead of new windows" 

Use the instructions below. Took me quite a while to find what/where the problem is.

The following is just an example - you can try downloading any firmware for any other ASUS product! If you are interested - just try the following sequence of "commands":

Go to the homepage of "ASUS.COM" Position on the "service" option. Click on the "service and support" option in the drop-down menu. Select the pic showing i.e. a router (wlan and networks). Select "wireless router" as the product range (first box). Then select i.e. "RT-AC66U" as product model (second box). Then select "Drivers & Tools". Then select "BIOS and FIRMWARE". AND then try downloading.

This is where MY browser starting with rel 79 just blinks and inserts a little notice which reads i.e. "2020/09/29 downloaded" and a little circle with an arrow in it pointing downwards.

But nothing is downloaded.

Putting a check in the above mentioned box makes the download work.

Either ASUS is doing something strange or firefox as of rel 79 has changed its behavior.

To repeat myself: I can download on other sites (like drivers for NVIDIA GPUs) just fine. So far, it just seems to be a problem on the ASUS homepage.

ASUS is telling me that this is a Firefox problem.

Hi,

Ever since upgrading from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 on both my laptop and PC, I've had trouble accessing Steam's websites due to bad certificate domains. I've included a screencap of the error message.

I tried contacting Steam about this problem, since its only on their websites the problem is. They told me that there was no error on their side, and that they suspect that I don't have an "up-to-date trusted root authority" stored. I don't know what that is, and had no luck contacting Windows about the problem. So far I haven't seen this problem appear anywhere I've looked for help, so I am trying posting myself here.

I have already tried: - Reinstalling the certificate automatically for the Steam.exe file - Flushing DNS config // Also tried connecting through Google's DNS server - Repairing Steam install (in case the problem came from the program) - Permanently disabling VPN software and AntiVirus programs from interfering with anything Steam-related - Resyncronizing time on the PC (almost the only solution I could find on the web, still didn't work)

I hope someone can help me.

Followup comment to previous post several minutes ago: I should have let you know I can receive email on a different computer and on my iphone, which confuses me even more as to the source of my problem.

I'm trying to browse Reverb.com, and when I click on an item I want to look at, firefox opens in a new tab. This just started today after updating the Facebook Container add-on, and even after disabling the add on, the problem persists. I completely exited out of firefox and got back on, and Reverb is doing the same thing still. I don't want new tabs to keep opening every time I click on a new item, but to just take me to that page like normal.

I can't find anything in the options for firefox like keybinding or anything, and none of the other settings seem like they would address this issue.

Sorry, I am a lay, but this was the second time I got an award anouncement for the 1 Mil. search in Firefox. The link connects me to a page "utopia ...." presenting me 3 gifts for choice telling me a time limit of 5 minutes? This makes me unsure and I left the page.

Is this a real action of FIREFOX or is it a virus?

After Updating Firefox Version 81 the Picture is magnified and I can’t see the whole picture. Also I can’t write something in the Login-Field. In Version 80 it worked without problem with the latest flash player Version. It seems, that in Firefox Update there’s a bug. Zooming the side doesn’t help. Pluging ist activated. Working on Mac Mojave. Has anyone an idea what‘s wrong?

Will FireFox Send be back? I used Firefox send for a while and when it stoped working i look for an alternative, but it's not like Firefox Send. Will it come back at anytime?

I use Firefox for many years. Firefox is always synced and I use "Firefox master password".

The problem is that every time I try to sign in my account I see this message: "This account is not active. Please contact an administrator if you believe this is an error. " This message is looks like mozilla's prank, because someone needs to sign in first to get help! As I try to get help, "support mozilla" is drive me to an endless loop in Mozilla.org.

After several minutes (I think about 15minutes) I don't know why and how but I'm in! This is happened every time I try to sign in my account!

Why is so much time consuming and frustrating the way to sign in? What it means "This account is not active." and why don't given a reason why this happens or/and a way to fix? Why I can't just type the UN/Pass to sign in?

Please make videos stop playing when I go to a website. Now (25/9/20) pop out videos have started cluttering my screen and are difficult to shut down. I do not want picture in picture and I do not want videos to play automatically. I have been through all the settings, but nothing makes any difference.
