For some reason, YouTube is not being very responsive to my account. I've logged in and out of my Gmail account to view YouTube on Firefox and there are several problems that are troubling me.

1. It doesn't recognize me as a logged in user but as a guest. Even when I'm logged in, YouTube still sees me as a guest. For example when I click on the Bell icon on the top right of the site I can't view my notifications at all from those who've I've subscribed.

2. There is no human way to access account settings as a "logged" in user. I tried modifying the settings by clicking on the gear icon on the top right. The options for settings only appear "normal" for a logged user for a split second till it gets overwritten in appearance by a prompt for people who are guests on YouTube.

I still have access to subscriptions only by opening another tab and through that subscription tab I can still view things normally such as my playlists and history for example. But those two major problems persist.

I've logged into YouTube on Brave and no problems I mentioned happened.

info seems to be corrupted. When I open the list, many of the login info looks like this �?�bō�ԅ�x?�m�/QF. What is going on? How can I fix it ?????

I use Firefox from the early versions, mainly on Linux, never had big problems. For a few months I have been using Windows for work purposes, everything ok (more or less), except for Firefox, it crashes, and it crashes often too, also in Safe Mode.

I have the latest version of Firefox and the latest version of Windows 10. All software is updated, as well as drivers. I checked that there are no viruses, spyware or RAM errors.

Viewing a national newspaper site today, Firefox popped up an odd message Continue to installation of Flash player. It then loads (tries) https://performintenselyquickapplication.icu and an ID string. I think I can run Flash already on my browser so why do I have to do this?

The URL worries me, it may be genuine but would like confirmation it is. As mentioned I can already see/use Flash so why the message?

Search for https://performintenselyquickapplication.icu returns nothing other than an Alexa position. Thanks in advance. McP/

Well, I am hopeless, a real dinasaur/technophobe and do not know what to do. As I said the website (wordpress) crashes every time I try to add a photo or text. I thought it was because they have just set up a new system but it is the firefox alert which comes up when it crashes. Any ideas? Thanks for your help.

The strangest thing. Could not login to pay my bill at electric company. NO visible place to login. Went to site using IE and although slow, I could login and pay. Disabled ABP and PB.

For more than a year I have used a member log in portal on the website for a club of which I am a member. Suddenly yesterday afternoon the log on button stopped working. With the pointer over the button there is a color change, but clicking on the button does nothing. I have tried form 2 computers, a cell phone and, to dismiss a network problem, tried form another computer on a different network and provider. I did discover that using another browser I am able to log in with out a problem.

I have tried restarting the computer, restarting firefox, clearing cookies and site data and clearing the cache. Nothing has changed.

Hallo, ich verstehe, wie man "Werkzeuge" über die Funktion "Anpassen" in die Symbolleiste zieht. Wie macht man das mit Add Ons? Ich hätte sie gerne in der Symbolleiste. Leider werden die Add Ons in der Anszeige "Anpassen" nicht angezeigt und können deshaln auch nicht in die Symbolleiste gezogen werden.

Hello, I understand how to drag "Tools" into the toolbar using the "Customize" function. How do you do that with add-ons? I would like them to be on the toolbar. Unfortunately, the add-ons are not displayed in the "Customize" display and can therefore not be dragged onto the toolbar.

I am using Firefox 80.01 on a Windows 7 Pro 64bit computer.

I have looked at so much that I don't know where else to look to be able to get back to using DABL. The DABL site used to work so well.

So what i've noticed lately is that when i play a video on youtube while on fullscreen, sometimes when i exit the fullscreen the screen goes black for a few seconds. In the meanting i can hear the audio being played in the background. After 1-2 seconds audio becomes choppy and then it completely stops and then my computer restarts. I haven't tested that with any other browser since i've been only using firefox for years. It doesn't happen all the time but i can happen randomly. I've tried disabling hardware acceleration but it didn't do anything. All the drivers are up to date. Anyone encountering the same problem? Any possible solutions would be more than welcomed.

My company have a shorthand for company links, known as go links. They are shorthand for long internal llinks so instead of typing full url we can just say go/jira, go/firefox etc.

In older version of firefox when I used to type such links, after finish typing "go/" It used to give option to open as url not a Google search but in recent release it doesn't give me that option anymore but instead directly goes to Google search which is super annoying.

Chrome handles this very well as its been three years to switch to firefox I really dont want to switch back to Chrome but this feature will kind of forcing me to move back as firefox making things harder.

my bookmarked tags are not showing in the search bar as stated in this tutorial:

I am able to bookmark pages without issues but searching for tags only works in the sidebar. please let me know how to resolve this issue.

I've created some pre-defined tiles (name, url) in the "Top Sites" of the New Tab section, to which I now want to add locally stored thumbnails.

The edit section does forsee an url section to add those thumbnails, however that method only works for external links and has its limitations:

- external links might break / become outdated - firefox constantly updates those externally linked thumbnails at each start (slows down)

I'm looking for a native solution, i.e. not adding any add-on's.

The web site https://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2020-09/asu-cem091120.php does not display all information and the Print and Email links do not work. There is additional information in panels on the right side when displayed in Edge but not in FF.

I have quite a few tabs open in Firefox on an old iMac that I keep open for research purposes. I do this instead of bookmark to save having to reopen them every time. When I migrate the old iMac to a new one, will Firefox remember those tabs and reopen them upon launch?

Question I am redoing my computer and have considered restarting firefox at the same time being I have been on the same profile for ages and figured might be worth just restarting with a new profile.

Now I know I can import bookmarks and such into the new profile after backing them up of course.

Question I have regards passwords and log ins.

I remember some time back I had lost some files including these and was able to restore them from an old back up of the profile. I think it was 2 files.

Are these files profile specific or can they be backed up on this profile and then copied into a new profile and work OK??

Or I just saw EXPORT LOGINS if I use this will it back up all my logins and then allot me to import them into the new profile like the bookmarks back up?
