I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

I have one Firefox account with all my work bookmarks and another account with my personal ones. I would like to login to my work device with the latter account, but am afraid to hit OK at the prompt warning this:

"A different user was previously signed in to Sync on this computer. Signing in will merge this browser’s bookmarks, passwords and other settings with <personal account>".

I am trying to find a way to login and see only my personal bookmarks when I sign in with the personal account. I have disabled Sync for the work account and installed the Multi-Account Containers add-in, but it does not appear that either option will support this workflow. Am I doing something wrong or is there no way to keep things entirely separated? It looks like the add-in keeps my browsing data separate, but I just want to see separate sets of bookmarks when using the corresponding account.

Some months before I used to have an page loading icon which was some dots, going left to right and backwards. Recently, I have got an hourglass which I didn't know how I got it and it doesn't look as neat as the previous one.

Hi all, Super frustrating!! I have a few tabs open in Firefox, cant click the X to close them you have to really really be super accurate with the pointer to be able to click to close, same when I am trying to click on a tab bar, it wont move to another tab option unless I am really accurate and click on it right in the sweet spot, really annoying and only had this issue for the last couple days Latest update and running a Mac latest OSX Any help would be appreciated before I switch browsers again

Recently (~2 days ago) I would be scrolling down a website and the text would glitch out into black/white/colorful squares. Now it happens randomly and I don't know what causes it. The glitch would follow as I scroll, and I could refresh the page or highlight portions of the text to get rid of the distortion. I have tried quitting out of Firefox, booting it in safe mode, and uninstall-reinstalling it. None of that has helped. Attached are screenshots of the glitch. It seems to be getting more frequent (?)

I did some system scans/diagnostics to check that it wasn't a hardware issue, and there's no problem on microsoft edge or other applications like discord/steam, so it seems to be a Firefox issue.

Letters (most noticeably x, y, and z) appear to be missing from text in web pages. Running macOS 10.14.6 with Firefox Browser 80.0. Note the image from the drop down menu on this support page. Missing y's, z's, and x is replaced by quotation marks (ie Firefo" Snc).

I have seen this sporadically on a couple of macs that I own. Text seems okay in Safari.

I have enabled at Startup the feature (Restore Previous Session)

BUT, what happened is:

I had peacefully closed my 38-tab window so I can access it later, but :( I was downloading some programs and doing some things and each time they kept opening new windows, so more than 3 had opened. And now I am not able to reopen my 38-tab window again.

Now it has been raised to 5 or 6 probably. I am trying not to open new more windows and are using Private browser so I don't need to open more Firefox 'new' (windows).

So is there any way I can happen to restore (previous sessions) for more than just 3, or at least that were open on a certain day ??

When I choose any other option then remember history. Ebay page does not display properly. Only way to get it working is to choose remember history.

Please fix it as I just don't like my browser to remember history

I do web design. And my problem is that I used to click the refresh button in firefox and it would instantly load an updated version of the pages I was working on. But now it does the exact same thing I hate about chrome. It loads pages using cached css and javascript files. And the only way to view the updated websites is to go private mode which is very annoying. Is there an option to get around this? Or it's a software problem?

Hi! I have got a big problem that took hours of my patient attention, but nothing helped(or I have done something incorrectly).

I am unable to play most videos on the internet. For example, i can watch video in youtube, but when i play stream on the same platform, youtube complains that currently my firefox browser does not recognize any html5 video formats.

Plugins installed: OpenH264, Shockwave Flash, and... while writing this question i've found that there's also widevine cdm that i tried earlier to install in my browser, 'cause by default in my Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS there's no such extension.

I can no longer successfully click on online links to open certain file types that I use. All I get is a page of garbage in Firefox. I can't delete the types because they are not there, but clicking on them does not ask me what action I want - just opens the garbage page. Filetypes happen to be .mscz (musescore) and.ove (overture) and I had working associations until the latest update.

A few weeks ago, Soundcloud stopped loading, but only on Firefox / Win10 PC even after disabling ad blockers. The site continues to work in other browsers and mobile apps. It began to work again in FF for a short while, but it's been down a solid two weeks since. I've put in a support request with Soundcloud but never heard back.

No errors ever appear, it's just completely blank. Site-wide. Nothing will load. I can't find anything online describing this issue.

I'm dreading having to wipe out all of my cookies, history, cache, saved logins/passwords, etc. and I'm hoping there is some other recourse. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, I have updated to the latest version and I found out that the close other/right tabs with right click on the tab has been folded,so I need wait for it to show then I`m able to click close other/right tabs which is inconvenient for me. Is there any way to config the shortcut keys, like ctrl+shift+T will recovery the last tab. Thank you!

I have a new HP printer and I am using Firefox from a Windows 10 PC. I am plagued with Paper Mismatch errors when printing emails from Firefox. After a lot of trouble shooting, I have found that this problem seems to be confined to Firefox, as it does not happen when using other browsers, e.g. MS Edge. I have tried resetting all Firefox printer settings and the problem still happens when opening Firefox in Safe Mode.

The print job stops with the error message Paper Size Mismatch after the 1st page, and printing will not continue or even move on to the next job until the error is cancelled from the printer's control panel. This means I have to be working next to the printer and cannot print remotely.

In the printing dialogue box under Printing Preferences, the paper size shows Letter, whereas I am using A4 in the printer, and this is the mismatch causing the problem. I can change the paper size in Printing Preferences from Letter to A4, but I have to do this for every job seperately as the paper size setting always reverts to Letter. This is totally impracticable.

Regretably, I will have to stop using Firefox unless there is a solution. Can anyone help me to change the paper size setting to always default to A4, please? Thanks in anticipation.

I'm using Gmail in Firefox 80.0.1. When there is a Word or .pdf attachment on a gmail message, clicking on the attachment opens the dialogue box attached below. Despite checking the box, "Do this automatically for files like this from now on," the box continue to pop up with the next attachment on another email. Is there a way to make it "automatic?"
