When trying to login to Netflix I keep getting it can't load the page because "Something Went Wrong. Sorry We having trouble with your request. You'll find lots to explore on Home page. |NSEZ-403 " It's only when I try and sign in. I've cleared the cache & cookies, and restarted Firefox multiple times, but still get this message. I also tried Chrome and had same problem, but don't get it with Safari.

As the title indicates, copy/pasting does not work.

I'm on Windows 10, have installed Firefox about two days ago (I've recently switched to it) so the version of FF is up to date. I've looked up a few fixes before posting and they didn't work:

- Tried booting FF on safe mode and it didn't fix the issue - it clearly isn't caused by an add-on (and I've never had this issue in my previous browser with nearly the same add-ons installed). - other people seem to have had the exact same issue multiple times and it's lasted for years, so it's clearly a problem on FF's end.

Here is the issue described more specifically: Copying things from a tab from FF and into the online version of Word does not work - when I try to, the intended selection: - disappears a few seconds after I've pasted - or it does not appear at all - or when it does, it erases the entire sentence it was pasted next to it, which you can imagine is absolutely bothersome.

I've also tried to copy/paste statistics from a site called archiveofourown.org onto another FF tab. - What ended up being copied is only the last character of the entire content I was trying to paste, which I think suggests there's some issue with what's contained in the clipboard.

I'm mentioning these two websites because I'm guessing that something about them is probably conflicting with the copy/paste feature, however I'm hoping no one will have the gall to tell me it's those websites' faults and that I should just stop using them.

When pasting (while having hopefully copied the former selected content- and no, it wasn't the case), it always pastes the content which was last copied into the clipboard prior to that very attempt, which shows that the clipboard's content was not refreshed with the last selected copied one.

I'm surprised to see that FF has had such a glaring issue for years and for many other users, and updates have never given a fix for it. I'd like this issue to be fixed properly, because I'd hate to have to switch back to my previous browser. FF sports so many nice features that other browsers don't have, and it'd be a shame to ruin the experience with a bug so basic as the copy/paste feature being broken.

How to get a multirow bookmarks toolbar in Firefox 74?

Hi,

Today I installed the new Firefox 74 but now my multirow bookmarks toolbar is not working correct anymore. They are not side by side, they are now among one another. See attached screen, ca. 75% of the screen is used by the bookmarks.

The following code is contained in my userChrome.css file:

/* Multi-Row Bookmarks Toolbar Firefox 66+ */

#PersonalToolbar {
  min-height: unset !important;
  max-height: unset !important;
/* text-align: center !important; */
}

#PersonalToolbar #PlacesToolbarItems {
  overflow-x: visible !important;
  overflow-y: visible !important;
  display: inline-block !important;
}

#PlacesToolbarItems > .bookmark-item > .toolbarbutton-icon[label]:not([label=""]) {
  /* Reduce padding on individual bookmarks to fit rows closer together */
  margin-inline-end: 0px !important;
}

Does anybody have a solution for this?

PS: If you need more info, please ask...

Best regards heusmich

So my Firefox Developer edition just got updated to the version 74.0b2 and I got this brand new address/search bar. One of the things that it used to have before it had been updated was a simple arrow-down button that, when clicked, showed the most visited sites. Now, after the update, this button is gone (pic related). This makes my experience with Firefox *extremely* worse, because now I don't have a quick access to open one of my most visited sites inside the current tab without starting typing their addresses. Is there any option to bring that feature back? Is removal of this button an already-made design choice for Firefox that will stay with us for the next versions?

I've just been customising Firefox's look by selecting the dark theme (which appears to be the only way to get some things like the dark NTP), then using userChrome.css to alter various elements to what I want. I don't actually 'know' CSS but searching has found the code to copy into my userChrome.css and then edit the colour values for almost everything. I've changed the toolbar, tabs toolbar, url bar, bookmark bar, menus, context menus, everything I wanted ... except one thing. The background colour of the active tab (just the actual tab in the tabs bar) is stubbornly staying the colour it gets from the Mozilla Dark theme, and I want to change it to the (slightly different) shade of grey that I've changed the toolbar to. Can somebody please tell me what the lines are to put in userChrome.css to change the background colour of the active tab? Thanks.

I moved from chrome to firefox. The zoom meeting does not work. I tried first through the web site (https://zoom.us/) to connect to a meeting. It will never pop up the dialog to ask me and open up zoom.

I downloaded also the zoom app. I start the app and first I tried to lsign in. I click on sign using facebook, then a new window of firefox opens up. The site that tries to connect is (zoommtg://zoom.us/facebook?token=muM7ER9yHmD6ueNhhdFjQKv7lz5L7%2FZ9C2nWw%2FeSevroeFDWx5j6JG5wwmu%2FhEld0RXgcqknbhNqq%2B9PEG4na3Mc3C9VCbute08OO14STh8JLPiAHDLhmog6vZ4uFKru%2FjZ2DjoBdMXbA0rDHV3WhuiPJ0jLJNp517Ate38WD5vuGnoaOayscn3agXceYmNwcAZ6ZBnIIv67k4Ou%2Fy5nkxuyhvJNpDnMZwojeV4T8DNKv%2B8QQUGYB%2Fl2J5ILM825&errorno=0&errormsg=&expire=5130456).

Then it fails, it reports a error: The address wasn’t understood Firefox doesn’t know how to open this address, because one of the following protocols (zoommtg) isn’t associated with any program or is not allowed in this context. You might need to install other software to open this address.

I lookeup on the internet about possible solution. But non has worked. Mainly people implied that firefox does not has a protocol for the zoom tag. (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1280803) Indeed also in my case it does not. But like also the the last person noted in the the previous case, also in my case that did not help.

I have Ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS, Firefox 74.0 (64bit).

Any idea?

When I try to print to my LAN-attached-by-ethernet Canon MF8350Cdn printer, a script error windows flashes on|off, the print job never makes it to the printer, Firefox closes and displays a Crash Report window. My work-around is printing to a PDF.

When I print to a PDF using PrimoPDF, a script error windows displays and waits for Y|N input, on clicking Yes, I am able to print to a PDF successfully. I can then print from Adobe Reader or Acrobat Standard to the same Canon printer successfully. That's as good as it gets.

Going to about:crashes reveals a couple of memory management issues, specifically in cnxdias2.dll (Canon printer file) and dpofeedb.dll (DigitalPersona Pro loaded by dpagent.exe?). I have diligently sent in the crash reports but have no clue what happens afterward.

Attached is a screen shot of the error.

Firefox used to cause a switch to the discrete GPU in my MacBookPro whenever I opened certain sites (such as those containing webapps that require WebGL - bestforpuzzles.com ) I monitor the switch using the app gfxCardStatus.

This switch is not happening anymore, apparently since Firefox was updated to 74.0 on March 13 2020. It's not a major problem, but the WebGL games stutter, for example. I cannot make Firefox to switch to discrete GPU no matter what site I open.

Safari causes switching to discrete GPU. Chrome switches to discrete GPU, but it's always off or on. I have Firefox 65 in a different volume containing Sierra, in the same Mac. That Firefox causes GPU switching as usual.

Was there a change in 74.0 that would prevent GPU switching? Or is it due to something else?
