please see the 2 attached pictures. I installed firefox on my new ubuntu computer and was asked to sync so I tried and kept getting a thing to past a code of some sort to allow this sync to happen. After about 20 tries, I finally figured out what I was supposed to do. In the mean time, something was happening to the other computer (the one I'm having the sync problem with) with regard to it wanting me to sync again and again, over and over. I login and it seems from the yellow triangle with exclamation mark that the browser wants me to re-sync. maybe I dont know what I'm doing. No, I certainly dont know what I'm doing.

I normally use the setting - Privacy & Security - History - Never remember history

but sometime I need to store my passwords in some website so I reactivate history.

The huge problem I have is I can't access internet after reactivating history: after typing the web address, press enter and I wait forever the page to load.

If I deactivate the history again, no problem everything works.

In other words I am locked out in no history mode.

It is reproducible on my Laptop and Desktop PC, both Windows 10 x64 Pro. Reinstalling does not help.

Huge Bug in my eyes: browser do not connect to internet anymore.

I am having a problem logging onto my wifi admin site. For a few years it opened with no problems, but recently all I get is the little spinning cursor on a grey background. The address is http://192.168.0.1/html/home.htm I am using Windows 7 32bit. The same problem has also happened on my Huawei Nova running Android version 7 EMUI Version 5.0.3. I have followed instructions in support, and made the suggested changes in about:config. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. I have also tried Reset. Any suggestions? Thanks Karl

The URL opens an image of my utility bill. In FireFox, it fails with "There is no application set to open the document "Home.aspx". In Safari, this works. Am I missing an add-in? Is this a problem in FireFox? Any comments/suggestion/reply appreciated.

When I click into to it it shows: This connection is not secure. Logins here could be compromised. ver 68.0.1

and on another field it displays logins and passwords that have been saved. This is must be corrected.

Manage Extension pages for each Add-On is informational only; does not allow me to disable extension etc. I haven't made any changes to extensions or customized Firefox in any way since the beginning of the year. Seems bizarre as seems to have happened rather suddenly.

Additional help suggestion offered by Firefox: * Shockwave Flash 32.0 r0 installed. No idea what to do about this; if it relates to Adobe Flash Player in Mac System Preferences, system plug-in is up-to-date.

Latest version of Firefox for Mac.

I've found all these suggestions to use some sort of code to edit some sort of script but I have no idea how to do this. I managed to open the 'Scrachpad' thing and enter the script,then saved it to the desktop...but then what do you do? Does anyone know how to bring back the simple old mouse scroll function in Maps on Firefox.

Firefox crashes at startup. I'm in a macOS beta program and the crashing begun immediately after a recent OS update on 8/2/19. I've tried wiping all application files and reinstalling Firefox, but it continues to crash at startup.

When opening .eml files, I configured Firefox to open with Microsoft Outlook. I checked the "Do this automatically for files like this from now on.", but Firefox always prompts. When it prompts, it still has the "Do this automatically" box checked. This appears to only happen with .eml files for me. Other file types automatically launch the configured default program (as expected). Any help would be appreciated.

support.mozilla.org NO LONGER OFFERS me the ability to log in to the site. (I have 68.0.1, NEVER saw this behavior before today.) ALL I WANT is a SIMPLE, STANDARD BROWSER with access to Firefox extensions that is RELIABLE. As of today 25-Aug-2019, Firefox is NOT.

There are a million support articles on this and other sites that show all the steps to importing your passwords from Chrome to Firefox, and they usually include a screenshot that is identical to the one I've included, except for they also have a box you can check to import passwords. I successfully imported my cookies, browsing history, and bookmarks, but there was no passwords box for me to check and I haven't been able to import my passwords. Why is it that option not showing up for me?

All my logins and passwords were deleted about a month ago, I seem to associate it with an update. My current version = 68.01 64 bit. I begegan to repopulate the saved logins althoughinitially it was not saving them all. Then today it happened again. I was not doing anything unusual, I just attempted to sign in to a website and nothing was auto filled, looked at saved log ins and all logins gone. Using PC with Win 10 and Avast security.

Appears spontaneously when browsing across a number of tabs - about once a month for past 6 months. Full bleeping computer AV checks run etc. Thanks

When I open a new tab it opens a new window with each tab opened. Each new window contains all the tabs from the previous window. It eats memory like nobodies business and nothing I have tried seems to fix it. I tried resetting Firefox, removed extensions, different theme, re-installed it. Nothing... It's started malfunctioning even more. I can't mute tabs. video doesn't show but audio comes through very loudly in for live streams. If the player doesn't have it's own mute function it won't mute... It's a mess. Help!

I want to have easier access to my bookmarks. I want to have them show in the side bar from A-Z. They show this way in the folders but not the side bar. All the bookmarks in the side bar seem to be listed under "recently bookmarked" most are months if not years old. HOw do I get organized?

Firefox immediately goes to the crash report dialog about half the time I start it. When this happens it takes up to 15 times restarting it for it to actually start. I've tried a clean install and starting in safe mode but the same thing happens. The most recent crash report ID is bp-a433666b-c733-415f-940a-e29210190805. Can anyone help with this?

I need to be able to get into YouTube for my work. Neither Safari or Firefox will let me in. I have tried Private windows, disable all of my blocking extensions etc. Granted the site is not perfect! But I do need what is there. How do I get Firefox to letme in?
