The more important problem is this - When I Exit Firefox, Firefox almost always crashes AFTER it has written the sessionstore.jsonlz4 recovery file. I am not sure why Firefox is crashing. Here are my latest crash reports; I just submitted a few that about:crashes told me that I had (for some unknown reason) not yet submitted:

When I look at a crash dump summary, I do not see the crash time. I do see the install time and the install age, but I do not have time to "add" the two to produce the crash time so that I can equate a given crash with my manual log to determine which of these crashed occurred after an Exit. I suggest that the crash dump summary be enhanced to give this information.l And the summary I save (via cut-and-paste) before I submit each crash report does not give the crash dump ID.
For the record, I am running 66.0.5 32-bit on Windows 7, always in safe mode.

This seems to be happening a lot lately with firefox failing but other browsers accurately showing websites. Please advise!

Why doesn't Mozilla fix this issue?
It makes the user experience very poor compared with other browsers. Even Edge supports it !!!

When i click on that link in the error it saves the video to /tmp and plays it in ffplay.. and in preferences->Applications, video/mp4 shows up with ffplay configured.

When I put that mp4 link in the address bar, it gives me a download dialog, I can download that file, and play it in firefox from the command line:

When i open a local html file with the video control element that plays the video. So why do I get those errors when this is viewed on the twitter website?

For about a week now, Firefox has automatically sent me to a Yahoo search engine, which regularly reports that it cannot find any links to the inquiry I have made. I switch to Safari and it always finds multiple links to the same search. I do not want Yahoo, nor this problem. How do I prevent it?
Can you elimanate the tab bar at the top of the browser? I'd rather just open new windows.
That's all I'd like to know. Is there a simple way to do this? The bar on the top takes up space and I feel is redundant.

I do not use an Admin user account for web browsing. Therefore, I have a standard (non-admin) user account which I use for web browsing.
I recently upgraded Firefox to v 67.0.4 from my Admin account, thinking that this change would migrate to all user accounts. It did not. In my daily use, standard user account, FF was still at version 66.0.3
Next, I attempted to upgrade FF directly from my standard user account by downloading the installer, then running it from my standard user account but (necessarily( with Admin credentials. This approach also failed, and FF in my standard user account is still stuck on v66.0.3
What is going on and how can I fix it?

I like to save .pdf versions of website articles. Unfortunately, some websites are not user-friendly in this respect in that they allow graphics to obscure parts of the article, usually atthe top and bottom of a page. Unlike Chrome (in my experience at least), Firefox enables me to select the part of an article that interests me, free of extraneous material and with the facility of excluding webpage URLs etc.
Perfect, save for the fact that I'm unable to save more than the first page (see first attachment) of a multi-page selection (see second attachment).
A further niggle is that I'm unable to upload either of the above-mentioned .jpg attachments. The upload function recognises them, but the rotating ikon is unable to do other than just slowly whirr round and round . . .
Why isn't newer FF than 66.0.3 (32-bit) showing up in Software updater or Synaptic Package Manager for Ubuntu 14.04 LTS?

If I print from FF I don't have the option "print to Drive" 3. I miss a drive-extension (icon) where I can save anything to Drive I am currently reading ... Any ideas out there?
The obvious solution to have Drive on my PC does not work since I am in a corporate environment and Drive is not allowed to use.

This started today. Twice in about an hour a yellow bar appears in the bottom of the Notes panel telling me to re-sign in to sync in order to sync my notes. Twice I've re-signed in and it fixes the problem temporarily; then again asking me to re-sign in to sync.
This is not something I consider productive or useful if I have to continually sign in.
