I'm using Firefox 50.1.0 and Windows 7 Professional SP1. When I click on the firefox icon, it starts a process that shows up as firefox.exe*32 in task manager, but no firefox window opens. I tried many of the suggested fixes for this problem on this forum, but none help. I tried:
1. Kill firefox.exe*32 process. Click on firefox icon. No window opens.
2. Uninstall firefox, delete folder AppData\Roaming\Mozilla, install firefox. The first time I click the firefox icon, it opens normally. But after I close it and click the icon again, the problem occurs again (process starts, but no window).
3. I disabled my antivirus and firewall SW (Symantec). No difference.
This seems to be a very common problem, judging from the many postings on this forum on it, and the many suggestions. But none of them appear to work for me. Can anyone give a definitive fix for this? It would be very much appreciated.

F'fox will not load, or becomes responsive. It closes but does not restore ever like it used to.
I have uninstalled and re-installed. I have refreshed and checked all plug ins and ensured all up to date.
Problems started since new 50 version f'fox.
I have windows 7, 32 bit. F'fox uses over 1.5 Gb Help firefox warriors

Below are the crash reports for Firefox, I got a new Macbook and Firefox hasn't been stable since. I have tried multiple fresh installs, tried refreshing firefox via the download page, tried disabling all plugins, tried safemode. It will not run on the new Macbook Pro late 2016. Chrome and Safari run fine and have yet to crash.

When something suddenly causes my computer to crash, G-mail saves my partially finished e-mail messages as drafts, right in my e-mail environment. -An easy recovery. Apparently not so in the Hangouts environment. In the middle of composing an SMS message, I dragged the window up to the left. Oddly, the window left traces that evenly disappeared, leaving a proper window in it's new place. Within ten seconds, my whole computer crashed. Relying on my experience with G-mail, I expected Hangouts to swoop my unfinished SMS message into a saved draft form. Alas, restarting my computer and perambulating back at Hangouts, I saw that the message was apparently not saved. Where did it go? Is it, in fact, irretrievable?

I manage our church's website. The platform I use is Network Solutions. The header logo will no longer show up when viewed in Firefox. However it does show up in Chrome, IE and IOS. the Network Solutions support team did everything they could to ensure it was not on their end. I just got home from a trip -- I left on 12/22 and returned on 1/3 only to discover that sometime in the interim, Firefox "no longer works." I have an expensive desktop Mac that I have not upgraded past 10.4.11 because it means buying a bunch of super expensive software. I feel like saying "F-you" Firefox.

Why is it downloading blank firefox browser pages
After I have downloaded a pdf file to my computer I open it and it has downloaded a blank Firefox webpage., and as it opens the "downloaded" document I see the download a… (funda kabanzi)
After I have downloaded a pdf file to my computer I open it and it has downloaded a blank Firefox webpage., and as it opens the "downloaded" document I see the download arrow light up again like it's downloading a file and I discover that it has downloaded or copied that file and now I have 2 downloaded blank pages of whatever it was I tried to download.

Firefox keeps sending "New sign-in to Firefox" emails,but fails to start syncing.
I cannot just get sync to start. It continuously asks to confirm the SignIn, when tried to sync. Then it keeps sending "New sign-in to Firefox" every time it asks to sign… (funda kabanzi)
I cannot just get sync to start. It continuously asks to confirm the SignIn, when tried to sync. Then it keeps sending "New sign-in to Firefox" every time it asks to sign in again.
The menu-window always just shows "Reconnect to sync..." After clicking it, it opens: about:preferences#sync There is "Sign in to continue". I sign in with the correct user+pass, it sends Email "New sign-in to Firefox", and goes to about:preferences#sync There again it asks "Please sign in to reconnect user@email" and it shows a pop-up window "Sync, enabled, Firefox will begin syncing momentarily."
... and that continues over and over again, email-box is getting new "New sign-in to Firefox" every time and it annoyingly refuse to start to sync.
The syncing with that firefox-account works with Android phone and Android-tablet, but not with Firefox v50.1.0 in Fedora Linux.

When starting my computer I get a strange message (do I permit the app to make changes) where I have to choose between answering "yes" or "no" to something I don't understand. Answering "no" my computer stops working but continues when answering "yes". Even your Firefox icon gets an application in form of a coat of arms with four fields in yellow and blue. This is very annoying, please help me to get rid of this.

Clicking "Bookmark This Page" does nothing - why not?
Also, unable to import json or htm bookmark files, and there is no places.sqlite file.
