Immediately after installing the update to 37.0 on my older Windows Vista machine Dashlane 3.2.4 ceased to work in the browser. Still opens and works outside of the browser. My windows 7 machine took the update to 37.0 just fine with no problems with Dashlane. (using windows7 machine now)

I have disabled/uninstalled the extension then enabled/reinstalled all to no avail.

This seems to be a recurring problem with Firefox; is there any cure. Can't work without my passwords!

(as long as I'm here: why does Firefox keep blocking the use of Flash? What a pain in the rump ... )

I had version 36.0.4 x32 install on windows 8.1 box. I was using 75 MB at startup. 1 tab, homepage duckduckgo open. Went through the support suggestions. Set all addon/extensions to 'Ask to activate'. Didn't reduce memory use. 1 suggestion was update firefox. Help about, stated I was up to date, but went to download page and it sensed and notified me of version 37.0. Upgraded. Restarted and ..... now it using 118 MB.

With Firefox 37.0 on Ubuntu 14.10 (and the built-in 36.0.something), if I download anything that has an associated application, like a ZIP file, and click "Open in Archiver" (or any other application), the downloaded file is stored in /tmp rather than in the configured Download directory.

I have an encrypted home directory, but this behaviour from Firefox means that temporary downloads are stored in the unencrypted /tmp which filenames are also browseable by other users on the computer.

I consider this a security breach, (Downloads that are opened like this may be Word documents with private information), so how can I reconfigure Firefox to always save all downloads to ~/Downloads rather than /tmp?

(Yes, I know I can use tmpfs and encrypted swap)

Please can someone tell me how to update an unknown plugin, I have 6 and all it says next to it is research. I am clueless as to know what to do as when I click research I am left with pages of options and don't know what to click. I am trying to update these unknown plugins because I have spent months trying to fix Mozilla freezing when scrolling down a page. I have even gone so far as to pay a computer technician to fix it, but even he didn't know what the problem was and gave up in the end. I have refreshed Mozilla losing all my bookmarks in the process and disabled my plugins but neither has worked, so if anyone out there can help I would most appreciate it. Thank you.

Browser was hanging up and issuing a not responding message. this would last for a good period of time. then all of a sudden it would load my home page of Yahoo. Did a refresh of the browser and it solved the slowness of the page loading, but when I went to print a page everything would work until i actually clicked on the print button and a box came up telling me firefox had crashed and would send out a report. This happened after the browser refresh. Did something get removed so the browser doesn't recognize the printer? How do I solve this problem?
