Hello, When i start firefox it crashes imidiatly, i looked at the help page but i cant activate the safe mode or something else cause i cant get into firefox. I removed it and reinstalled it but the crash keeps on comming. Yesterday i shut down my computer with everything working and today i booted it up and it crashes, no updates done. I am using the latest version of mozilla firefox 34.0.5
First time i have this problem with firefox i hope this can be fixed for me cause its the only browser i use

Been on the Web since I started hosting a BBS in 1988, I should not be confused. I should be browsing the forums right now looking for the right thread to get some help in. Wonder where this will be posted? I don't know, because this is confusing.
As I'm typing this my characters are freezing ever 15 seconds or so. Is there something wrong with the current build? I've had crashing and "not responding" problems for the last month and a half. Have removed all plugins and Add-ons (not cool at all) and then re-installed, twice if you include today. You see, since the last update, which I thought might be a bug fix, Firefox is now using most all of my ram, usually about 3.2 GB of it, no matter if there is 4 tabs or 15 (which I would NORMALLY have in my browsing, so I no there was a point where Firefox had no problem with this). That sounds like a memory leak to me. My question is: Is there something wrong with Firefox right now? Seccurity Essentials and MBAM both say I"m virus and malware free, which would make 4 years of being virus and malware free, I make an effort to browse smart, so I'm pretty sure that's not it. I'm attaching a link to a Screenshot I put in my dropbox of the threads tabs of Process Explorer, what are all these threads? Why is firefox running all these Threads at once. Is this normal? I cannot use Firefox right now, is there something wrong on my end or your end?

Firefox v34.05 on Desktop (Windows 7) "Not Responding" after "resuming Windows" - takes 2-3 minutes (or more) to be able to click ANYWHERE or do ANYTHING. Why??

BRAND NEW COMPUTER. Asus M32AD, i5m 8GB, 1T, Windows 7 factory-installed. I have current version of FF 34.05. When I come back to my desktop after the screen has gone black, and I click the mouse to get that "Resuming Windows" screen, if I have left any FF windows open, the computer is essentially dead in the water for up to several minutes - FF will do nothing: no new windows, no closing old windows, no clicking on a tab, no ability to get a cursor in a field -- and if I try ANYTHING, I get the swirly cursor and "(Not Responding") appears in the title bar. This goes on for no fewer than 2 minutes or so, and as long as 3, 4 or even 5 minutes. It takes longer for the computer to become usable coming out of Resume than it does when I first start the darn thing up. Old threads address this issue on versions of FF as far back as 21, 22, 23, but I haven't seen any that address it in the newest versions of FF. Is it hopeless? (p.s. I'm really not terribly tech savvy, so use small words LOL)

Also are we shooting ourselves in the foot, giving a warning and effectively blocking our own troubleshooter app.
P.S. And is there a bug filed for warnings about outdated Flash on Linux. I have not checked

Hello world, since a while we have a problem with our authentication against a Blue Coat ProxySG (v6.2.15.1). We are using NTLM authentication. With IE, no problems occur. With Firefox, while calling certain homepages, we are getting lots of authentication pop-ups (screenshot) but the webpage is not loaded correctly though. We tested Firefox version 20, 30, and 35.
We have followed many helping guides we found in the Internet, e.g., toggling the websocket (http://bluecoat.force.com/knowledgebase/articles/Solution/FirefoxpopstwiceUserAuthenticationlikemoz-proxyxxxxxxxxxxxwhenbrowsingtowebsitesusingWebSocketprotocol) or configureing the trusted-uris (https://bto.bluecoat.com/webguides/proxysg/security_first_steps/Content/Solutions/Authentication/IWA/IWA_browser_config_ta.htm) but nothing yet worked.
Our test homepage is always http://www.mediamarkt.de because it could be 100 % reprocuded that when calling this page the pop-ups appeared while the page was not loaded successfully.
Maybe someone has an idea? Thanks for any help!

I just updated my FF to 34.0. Now I cannot log into Chase websites at all. I have cleared the cache and cookies, still has the problem. I have two different Chase log-ins, neither one of them allow me to log in. When I clicked "Log On", it refreshed the page itself and the log-on window stays on.
I was able to log in with Chrome.
So what could be the problems? Did FF 34.0 be the one causing the issues (which I do think so since it only happens after I updated to 34.0 this morning).
Any suggestions/comments are much appreciated. Thank you.

For the past few weeks, I've been unable to log into my Pinterest account. I use Firefox as my primary browser. I've gone back and forth with Pinterest tech support, to no avail, and they sent me here. <eye roll> I've tried all the easy things...deleting cache and cookies, trying in safe mode, trying with another browser, making sure the browser is up to date, etc. Pinterest won't let me log in on IE or Chrome either, on this computer; yet on my Windows Surface tablet, I can log in with no trouble.

This also happens in safe-mode and if I turn every extension off.
In the only bugzilla bug I could find, it was set as fixed. ( https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1093223 "IndexedDB UnknownErr: ActorsParent.cpp:413" on indexedDB.open)
Firefox 35 has been out for some days now, so I believe if this was an actual bug it would already had been reported.
How do I solve this error?
Meanwhile, I'm rolling back to version 34.

The settings under options / tabs are all checked properly. I have uninstalled Firefox, removed all the files from the profile directory for the user, then reinstalled Firefox - got the same result. I even uninstalled Flash player per https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1032376 - still, a new tab will not open when clicking on a link in a web page. Have tried safe mode and restoring defaults without any luck. I suspect the answer is simple (Occam's razor) - just can't seem to find it though.

Once I installed the FirefoxDeveloperEdition, I tried to sync my datas, but noticed it didn't work. I dug a little and found there is a brand new Firefox Sync (maybe trying an old Firefox Sync account could notify the user it cannot add any new device).
So I followed the support article in order to migrate and disabled my old Firefox Sync first. Then I tried to register a new account, and I'm stuck at the email verification step. I click on the “send verification email” but I don't receive anything.
Now I cannot sync anything for two days, and can't figure what's wrong. I use the same email as this “mozilla support account”. I forgot my password so I did request for a password modification and received the email. Everything seems to work so far. Except for Firefox Sync.
Did I miss something ?

i have a problem for a long time in Firefox and that is whenever i try to upload any file via Elance.com it gives a error and if i click on "Attach file" button it would pop up another page to upload manually.
Error: "Using one of the supported browsers with the latest Adobe Flash is required to experience enhanced file uploading features. Click "attach files" to proceed with the basic version."
I am Using Firefox 34 and latest flyer player installed. On the other hand i can upload any file successfully without any problem on Opera and Chrome.

But, when I try to use firefox and Ubuntu OS it will not connect while at McDonalds. Otherwise, the Ubuntu distro and firefox work fine everywhere else.
