I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

Dear Mozilla Support, I have an editing website that lists many of the books I've edited (see http://www.desertsagebookeditor.com/trade-books-edited-waldygo.html and http://www.desertsagebookeditor.com/professional-and-academic-books-edited-waldygo.html ). When I designed the site in RapidWeaver 5, I put the book titles in italics. But Firefox won't show the titles italicized, although Chrome and Safari do. I'm running OSX 10.7 on a 2009 Macbook Pro (Firefox version 33.0.3). Do you have any idea how I can fix this? The tech guys at RapidWeaver say there is nothing wrong with my code. Thanks, Patti

I have read two ways to try and stop this in the help but they either did not apply or I could not do what they suggest.

Every time I open Firefox of late the Welcome to fire fox tab opens along with my home page. It is only a small annoyance to turn it off each time but I would like to stop it from happening. What can I do?

I found another where they say to delete something out of the about.config but I was not able to delete the line. I could not find how to delete a line out of the about config.

I want to install the Sticky Password extension with an icon in the toolbar. Doing so I always get the message: "Couldn't download the Addon because of a failure in the connection. Fact is that there is nothing wrong with my connection. What to do?

Is there a way to set page breaks before printing?

Many times, it will need just two pages, and it would be better if part of the content from page 1 were on page 2, with the rest of its related content.

Recently when going to certain websites, parts of the content are not being displayed. In one case, when I go to log into a website, the user name no longer displays although I can log in. An example is this page: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/giada-de-laurentiis/soba-noodle-salad-recipe.html. When I go to it in IE or Chrome, I can see all content. Went I go in FF, I can't see anything under "ingredients" or "Directions" except dotted lines where text should be. Screen shots are available. I have gone through the steps of disabling add ons/extensions and even reset FF (losing some extensions that I can't find now lol) but nothing. Everything is up to date as well. Any ideas?

WIndows XP, Firefox 33.11. html documents have lines of dialogue text and a link to the audio of each dialogue line. The audio is sometimes mp3, sometimes wav. Clicking on a link plays the audio OK, however when the audio finishes, one has to manually click back to the document. This is inconvenient when sifting through numerous lines of dialogue. Is there a way to automatically re-display the document as soon as the audio finishes playing.

I can't find a help button when I click on the 3 lines. When Firefox updated this morning, it wouldn't go on line at all. Now I have it running again, and my data is saved on my desktop in a folder called Old Firefox data. I don't know how to find "profiles" and I don't know how to reload my data. I seem to have my correct taskbar. I don't have my complete list of search engines. My bookmarks seem to be there. My download record is not.

An unwanted icon website link appears on the bar next to "most visited," "getting started, "latest headlines" and it also appears on my gmail page. I don't know if this is an embed (?) or what it might be called, but it appears a web site has invaded my search engine without my permission and I want to remove it and prevent it from occurring again. Thank you.

Recently Firefox will not load anything webpages or webpage content unless the mouse is moving. Have disabled all add-ons and started in safe mode with no avail. Need some help.

Until very recently Firefox would open to a page of my choosing and with the bookmarks sidebar showing by default. Over the last week this has stopped happening and I now have to go to View>Sidebar>Bookmarks every time I open Firefox. How can I set it so that the sidebar appears automatically? I use Firefox 30.0.1 with Windows XP Home.

The New Tab zoom in Firefox 33 is too high to see all 12 of my thumbnails. I changed it using ctrl- but the next time I opened a New Tab, the zoom was back at 100%. How do I change the default zoom for New Tab only?

Yesterday the FF browser webpage opened with its usual icon, and "suggestions".

When I opened it earlier TODAY the FF icon itself was not clearly defined (skewed), and there was an icon which stated "click here" (this icon was also skewed).

I thought perhaps that I was being prompted to update FF, so I checked and "yes", found that I needed to update to Version 33. The download was extremely slow, and the FF browser menu is continuing to show the "skewed" FF icon, in addition to the other "skewed icon" which says only "click here" (not saying what I am clicking on). I have never had such a problem before, and am hoping that it is only a temporary glitch.

WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO FIREFOX??? I have never had these problems previously.

I have this issue on my 2 computers with the last firefox version. The start page is not anymore kept in the settings after restarting Firefox (v33). When I set it to the start page I would like to have, I put the URL in options start page then it works. But if I close Firefox and open it again the start page settings is not kept. There is again in the option the firefox default start page. Can you help to solve that ? any idea?

I can't get my browser to bookmark anything. I can edit my previously saved ones, but new ones just don't happen. Yes, it's up-to-date, the latest update available. And yes, I went through the trouble shooter and reset firefox to it's original settings. didn't work.

HELP!!

My New Tab Page does not work at all. I just have the empty squares with nothing in them at all? I know how to use about:config & have had the usual problems with newtab page tiles but this is more like a bug- using 33.0.1. Doesn't show tiles icon in top right corner just shows a gear that is used to hide the empty tiles that I can't fill with sites. First it would only show 2 rows of 4 columns even though I had it set to 5 & 6 then few days later for no reason they went empty with a serrated line around the tiles & can't drag from the bookmarks---- really bloody annoying!!!!!!! Possibly a setting in the about:config but i can't fig it out?
