I am not a technical person. I tried to update firefox due to a popup message regarding my old version. I followed the instructions to click on Firefox then to help and select about firefox. Then I was ready to install and restart. But then it instructed me to go to Mozilla.org to update the old version and now I'm stuck! Frustrated! and would like to talk to a person on the phone to walk me through the update.

I can not overwrite searched text in editing windows to text in bufer.

Example :

We have some text in editing windows on website, then we press CTR+F and search the text , then FF found this text and put to this text green color . Then I go to another website and copied to the buffer some text. Then i go to previously site to editing window and the searched text have blue color and i can press CTR+V and text overwrite to text from buffer . This trick works only in FF 24.0

Higher version of FF then 24.0 this trick don't works

I have one XP installation and 2 Windows 7 installations and certain icons just will not show in Firefox. One such site is my library, where an oval icon shows whether the book is an ebook or an audiobook. However, only placeholders show instead of the book or headphone icons. XP shows them just fine, Opera, Chrome, and IE show them with no problem, but Windows 7 just can't seem to figure it out.

I just did a new, clean install of Windows 7 on my desktop computer, and I was expecting all the icons to show. But no, same problem as my laptop. Only Windows 7, only Firefox. What is going on? BTW, if anyone wants to see a screenshot, email me and I'll send you one from Opera (icons showing) and one from Firerox (only placeholders.)

As you can see these certificates are chained --

openssl verify -CAfile issuer.pem intermediate.pem intermediate.pem: OK

However after importing issuer.pem, when I try to import intermediate.pem, FF gives --

"This is not a certificate authority certificate, so it can't be imported into the certificate authority list."

For several months now, Firefox has been crashing at random times. I have been ignoring it for the most part, but it has been happening more frequently the last few days, so I want to finally try to figure out what's going on. I assume it has to do with add-on/extension conflicts, but if so, I don't know which ones and I have no idea how to read the crash reports. I have tried updating Firefox (as well as my add-ons and plug-ins) a few times, but it hasn't helped. And as far as I can tell, there doesn't seem to be anything specific that triggers the crashes. Sometimes it will happen when I go to a Youtube link and sometimes it will happen when I'm in the middle of reading plain text. And sometimes it happens when I'm not doing anything at all.

I'm currently using Firefox 24.0 on Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. I run malware scans regularly with MBAM and SUPERAntiSpyware, neither of which have turned up anything malicious in the recent past. Here are my 5 latest crash reports:

Crash ID: bp-50ab1ac1-15de-440c-8470-7b74a2141006 Crash ID: bp-62d19aa7-ac6d-4b37-a917-8c7422141006 Crash ID: bp-94865f73-d8f6-4dc2-a58e-4e4972141003 Crash ID: bp-ce3b2a65-ee86-4b1e-88a6-2d8752141001 Crash ID: bp-6aa03c14-30ab-4b1a-ac82-04ede2140928

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Every time I try to connect to my internal website from a Linux OS Thin Client I recieve the SSL error 61. Firefox is the only browser on the Thin Client. There are no issues connecting from Non-Linux systems on any browser including Firefox.

Error Below: SSL error Contact your help desk with the following information: You have not chosen to trust " Go Daddy Secure Certificate Authority - G2", the issuer of the server's security certificate (SSL error 61).

How do I fix this error? I have already tried installing the cert manually to the client.

Hi. When I download something in private browsing mode, I understand that it doesn't appear in download window. How do I cancel a download without closing the private window? I don't want to close all windows because I have several tabs opened and it will be really cumbersome to close all tabs and trying to open all of them again just so that I can cancel one download.

Details of my system is as following.

Name Firefox Version 24.7.0 User Agent Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:24.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/24.0

Thanks.

About two days ago I noticed that when I tried to access certain websites using Firefox I always got this error message; "The connection was reset". I initially thought it was a problem with my isp before noticing that the network was fine on my phone and iPad. I then attempted opening the same links that brought up the error message on the TorBrowser and it worked perfectly.

Basically the only website that works on my Firefox browser right now is Google but if I do a search on Google and then click on any link that comes up as a result I get the same error message, "The connection was reset". I can also log into my gmail account but I cannot access any other website including Feedly, Tumblr, Twitter, Yahoo, Wordpress, Blogspot, even though they work fine on my other browser.

I cleared my cache and cookies, wiped out all the browsing history but the problem persisted so I uninstalled Mozilla Firefox and reinstalled it. The problem is still there. I checked the proxy settings, I went through all the solutions on this page https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-cant-load-websites-other-browsers-can?esab=a&as=aaq and still nothing. I am not sure what the problem is here but any solution will be much appreciated. I have used Firefox for years now and I am not really comfortable using another browser.

I use a Macbook OS X Version 10.9.4 and the latest Firefox 32.0.1

I do not think that the problem comes from Iceweasel, but I would like to know what can cause this problem, and how to solve it. Is there a way to tell Iceweasel or Debian to non-stop for this movie? My problem probably is easy to solve, but because I am new as Linux user, I would like to receive your suggestions.

Although a good feature normally I would like to know if it is possible to turn this off so it goes straight to the webpage desired?

Would like to save list of open tabs so that I can go back to the same list of open tabs. Bookmarking saves them but does not tell me explicitly which tabs were open at any one time. I sometimes have more than 15 open, something happens and I have to start from scratch - i will miss some that I had open. Thus a "command" to save currently open urls to a file would solve this problem. Thanks
