When I downloaded Firefox's last update Firefox 22, Last night everything is now so zoomed in and big on this Firefox. Even the buttons seem bigger. I wanted to know how can I reset everything so it will look like the previous update of Firefox ?

Everyweb page I go to I have to zoom out twice just to get it back to its normal size now.

Is there also away to just change the webpage zoom and leave the buttons there current size. My brother likes how big the buttons on firefox it self is but not how far it's zoomed in on web pages.

When trying to play any sample from any album sold in Bandcamp.com the player starts playing, but there is no sound. Meanwhile other browsers plays it fine.

I use latest FF, I tried disabling various addons and plugins but it didn't help (they are not sound related anyway).

I run on Win8x64.

Update: The sound plays fine everywhere else on Firefox. YouTube etc. It plays everywhere except Bandcamp.

And the Bandcamp player is not Flash, it has nothing Flash related. It is HTML5 player.

Ever since Yahoo changed their login screen a few days ago the username and password fill has not worked correctly for me. I deleted the old entry and tried to reenter it but it would not show up on firefox. I had to use a booklet to get rid of the autocomplete=false tags in order for login manager to ask to save the password. However it does not fill it in when I try to relogin.

I really enjoy this feature since I use a long Yahoo password and Firefox stores them better then most other browsers.

This is the booklet I used. javascript:(function(){var%20c=0;function%20R(w){try{var%20a,df,dfe,i,j,x,y,r=1;df=w.document.forms;for(i=0;x=df[i];++i){dfe=x.elements;if(a=x.onsubmit){a=""}if(a=x.attributes["autocomplete"]){if(a.value=="on"){c++}a.value="on"}for(j=0;y=dfe[j];++j){if(a=y.attributes["autocomplete"]){if(a.value=="on"){c++}a.value="on"}}}}catch(E){r=0}return%20r}R(self);var%20i,x;for(i=0;x=frames[i];++i)R(x);if(c){alert("Found:%20"+c)}})();

-Has been happening for months now with many attempts to pinpoint cause. Have come to the conclusion that it is Firefox but don't understand why. -When using Firefox, my entire PC, not just Firefox, will freeze. Sometimes it happens within the first 5min of using Firefox, other times it could happen an hour into a session. A hard restart is the only way to get back to my desktop as I have waited an hour before after a freeze and nothing happens. Mouse pointer won't move, nothing. -Initially thought it was a hardware issue or an anti-virus issue. -Reinstalled windows on three different hard drives that all pass the disk check. Still happens -Installed windows 8 to see if that would fix the problem. Nope, does the same thing on Windows 8. -Ran Memtest 86+ for 14 hours one night to see if it was my memory. Nope, zero memory errors found -To be sure I even tried only using one stick of ram in my PC at a time to see if any of the sticks were bad. Nope, it froze with every stick -Tried changing my anti-virus. It froze with every single one, AVG Free, Avast Free, Microsoft Security Essentials. -I figured out that my PC only freezes when I am browsing the web in firefox. If I use chrome or Internet explorer, it doesn't happen. These total PC freezes only happen when I am using firefox. -My only add on/plug in that I am using is Adblock plus besides the default ones that come with Firefox. -My firefox is up to date, I have reset it and reinstalled it [while only adding Ad Block +] and this still does not fix the problem -In the windows event log the only thing that happens every time my PC freezes is the Error "Session "Microsoft Security Client OOBE" stopped due to the following error: 0xC000000D", why this would only affect Firefox, I don't know. -I would like to figure out the cause of this because I would really like to use Firefox again.

Turned on Firefox this afternoon to find all text rendering about 30% too big. Icons in tabs and on bookmark bar are too big, as well. If I press Ctrl+- twice, then it looks normal, but Ctrl+0 sets everything to abnormally large again. Gmail in particular looks wrong no matter what I set the zoom to, as if the UI is too big but the text is too small.

I have no idea what's going on. Restarting Firefox multiple times didn't help. Disabling every addon and plugin didn't help.

I have seen that there are many questions about dealing with unresponsive scripts, scripts that stopped responding, script busy, for various programs. Entering "script stopped responding" produces 1000 results.

So this seems to be a general problem, and is not tied to any program (though my problem lately is gmail).

It's very annoying to have to wait until the script problem gets to the point where all open windows freeze, slow down, move in jerks rather than smoothly, without knowing what is causing the problem, since it seems that a script problem can happen with just about anything you want to do.

What I want to know is whether there is a way to set up some sort of automatic system to deal with it.

Something like "if a script is unresponsive for X amount of time, stop the script". Ideally with that amount of time being less than the amount of time it takes for the unresponsive script to interfere with all functioning.

Or some way to limit its disruption to just the window/application with the problem - so if gmail is having the problem, youtube or nytimes.com will not be affected.

Even an early warning system would be nice, like a message popping up identifying the application with the script issue and that it is going more slowly than it should.

I am no expert, but I am thinking that most of the applications or activities involving scripts should work within a few seconds. If this is the case, a pop up saying, for example "a gmail script has been spazzing out for 15 seconds now".

Basically, anything that sends an alert or that stops the problem before it affects the entire system would be very very helpful.

Firefox will not open. I tried every single troubleshoot recommendation, and it still won't work. I thought it may be under the "corrupt profile data" troubleshoot article, but when I followed the recommendations to change to a new profile, the profile manager would not open or run on my computer--as if it never existed. I tried downloading a different browser, and as soon as I imported my firefox data, it started misbehaving in the exact same way.

This is getting extremely frustrating. Anybody know what to do?

"Firefox support is a relatively recent addition to Adobe Reader, since version 10.1.4. Therefore, even though you may have had Adobe Reader installed for a long time, you may need to install a new version to gain the Firefox support. You may also find that you need to enable the Adobe add-on within Firefox. To enable the Adobe add-on in Firefox, select Tools->Add-ons->Plugins, then in plug-ins list, find the item beginning Adobe Acrobat NPAPI Plug-in and click the Enable button."

When I go to Firefox, select Tools->Add-ons->Plugins, this plugin is not there. So, where can I get it?

I am trying to deploy Firefox on staff machines at my work.

We are using Windows 7 on them and want to be able to have extensions available for all users on that machine.

However, after much research it seems that all the prior solutions for this problem have been restricted or removed.

There should be an easy way to have addOns installed for all users. Its not feasable to make every single user install every single addOn one by one.

I have tried nearly everything I have seen suggested so far, but nothing seems to work. Firefox started hanging and lagging randomly a few days ago. When scrolling, hovering over buttons, clicking and typing, there tends to be a half-second or 1 second delay. Youtube videos and other video websites are basically unwatchable because they lag so much.

So far I have tried:

- starting firefox in safemode - resetting firefox - using hardware accelleration and not using hardware acceleration to see if there was any changes. - disabling all plugins and extensions and disabling each one-by-one to see if any took up a lot of memory usage. (Firefox memory usage was sometimes over 400 Mb) - downloading a freeware program called "Firemin" which apparently stops memory leaks when used to launch firefox. (Memory usage went from 350-400 Mb to 4-8 Mb !) This helped slightly when watching youtube videos but not with any other hanging and lagging problems.

I'm currently using Firefox 22.0.

Please if you have any suggestions respond because I do not want to have to resort to using Chrome. I am too used to using firefox and don't want to lose my bookmarks.

Yesterday all of a sudden my webpages and UI appeared to be magnified. While I can zoom out on websites, I cannot find any option to adjust the size of the UI.

I noticed that Firefox 22 (which I am running) has a new feature: "Windows: Firefox now follows display scaling options to render text larger on high-res displays". Is it possible to adjust how Firefox responds to the display scaling options perhaps?

All of a sudden (and around the last update, if memory serves, but I'm not entirely sure it exactly coincides with that) my bookmarks toolbar no longer shows any bookmarks. Instead there is a "Bookmarks" button (icon: white star on gray rectangle background) on the left hand side of the bookmarks toolbar. When I click that button, a menu opens in which all my bookmarks are present as usual, including a "Bookmarks Toolbar" folder with the usual bookmarks still in it. In other words, the organization of my bookmarks is unchanged and they're all still there, but the bookmarks toolbar no longer shows the bookmarks in the "Bookmarks Toolbar" folder in my bookmarks menu.

Trying to drag bookmarks back onto the bookmarks folder doesn't work either.

Suggestions, anyone?

When I visit this site:http://www.apolloarchive.com/apollo_gallery.html I can no longer see the image thumbnails when I click on the image IDs. I contacted the site owner, and he said it worked for FF on his computer, but I'm afraid my javascript isn't working here. I did everything, cleared the cookies, ran Safe Mode, checked options- though i may have goofed. And I'm almost sure javascript is enabled here. I have Win XP. I don't want to check another browser; if the problem is here than it needs fixing. I'm waiting more word from the site owner, but I tried everything he suggested. So what do I do? Do I download another Javascript?
