When right-clicking on the Firefox icon in the Windows task bar one has the option to "pin" items by hovering over an entry in the "frequent" list and clicking on the little pin needle icon (with the hover text "Pin to this list").

How can I pin items that are not in the frequent list? I have tried for weeks to make an important page a frequent one by making sure to visit it daily but it never makes it to the list.

I would like to rename one such entry (i.e. change the description). How can I do this? The context menu only contains the options "Open" and "Unpin from this list".

All of my tabs at the top of the Firefox window have vanished. There's a list of websites at the left side to choose -- but I am not able to open more than one window. I want to restore all of my tabs!

The Firefox auto login of a default site feature has become a supreme annoyance. Being insufficiently Firefox savvy to be able to disable this unhelpful feature (in my case). Can someone please help with avoiding or disabling this feature so that the initial site selection is left to the user, other than totally avoiding Firefox which I otherwise find highly functional and enjoyable.

Hello everyone! Windows 10, Firefox 146.0.1 (64-bit) I'm trying to synchronize my account, but there is no "Sign in to account" or "synchronization" function in the settings menu on the left. When I log in via the command line using https://accounts.firefox.com/signin, I can log in, but neither the account itself nor the synchronization button appears in the settings. What should I do? Thank you!

Well being an OAP I needed new laptop. Always used Firefox browser but finding it difficult to get restarted. Had to opt out of window s to even download. Apparently I can transmit(?) my existing passwords etc from one laptop to another is this correct? Only basic computer knowledge but trying hard !! Karen x

see what appears when I open firefox as an uploaded image: has anyone else had this appear... can not find a way to report what in my view is fraud...'AI' said no new terms,conditions,privacy by firefox, mozilla since spring so is it a 'page overlay' as 'AI' said? also I can not find a way that will open to report to mozilla, can some one forward to report fraud?

If there only one question I get an answer to that would be: how can I delete it and block it forever?

I have used firefox as my brouser on my PC for years with all my bookmarks and passwords. Now without my old computer, how do I restore all my account passwords and bookmarks as it was before.? I am using windows 11 on a Dell desktop PC. Please help. I am not a computer genius. Is there a phone number to call for live help.

I suddenly can not sign in to my bank account. Started last night (12/22) and continues this morning. It worked fine yesterday morning (12/22). I can login in using a non firefox device without issue. What did firefox change and how do I fix it?

I would like to add perplexity.ai permanently to the chatbot sidebar. How can I do this? I know how to manually enforce it as the current chatbot over about:config, but not how to add a dropdown item for it.
