I have just upgraded to Firefox 14.0.1 (for Mac). The favicons are not displayed in the location bar, as they used in previous versions. Anybody knows how to restore this feature?

Whenever I open my browser, regardless of how and what I saved in a session, it ALWAYS open the same five older tabs for previous updates. I can't seem to get it to clear or delete them.

after i upgraded to ff 14, i found that the "open new tab" button moved to the left of the tabs. how do i move the button back to the right of tabs? i've tried the customize, but it won't stay on the right when i hit done.

i have uninstalled firefox and reinstalled the latest version and i still get typing delays and typically if i go too fast, then it just freezes. anyone heard of this or know of any solutions?

Just tried yesterday that locator works after updating FF to 14.0.1. After selecting city/country FF redirect to info page like normally, but just get frame with loading indicator and thats it.

IE works.

How I I turn off this new feature in firefox 14? It trys to autocomplete a url, and i hate it.

Also, how can I get back the old back foward and home buttons?

Hi, We are working on media house,our CMS work on firefox browser, many times firefox update process start without knowing the end users and our application script in between the process that time firefox going to crash.

Please prompt before installation like windows updates.

I usually have 4 firefox windows open with about 50 tabs. NORMALLY. Never had a problem till recently and EXCESSIVELY today. I thought it was a flash problem because everytime I would try playing battlepirates on Facebook it would freeze. So, I tried closing some tabs after I restored. Then I noticed it would freeze also while just closing some tabs.

So far today it has frozen ABOUT 13-15 times. Note: CPU usage is not as high as normal. only about 300Meg I USUALLY run as high as 900 Meg- 1.2 Gig

The newly implemented support (in v14.0.1 as far as I can tell)) for native OSX Lion full screen support makes fullscreen pretty useless in a multi monitor setup. With the previous version it was possible to continue using the other monitors for other tasks.

Is it possible to disable the support in some way to actually have useful fullscreen support again, i.e. the way it worked before v14.0.1? Otherwise such an option is needed in my opinion.

The old full screen support let me use the fullscreen for Firefox (and not letting window widgets get in the way) and continue using other applications on the other screens.

My history is full of junk from the moment I launch Firefox. This includes my history for Today as soon as I launch. It shows about 100 sites I have not visited in weeks. Could it be because I have been using the Speed Dial extension? It updates the dial icons periodically. Does this affect the history? Also, I cleared my cache and my history is still full of site entries. I have today disabled Speed Dial and installed FVD Speed Dial.

I have used firefox for a very long time now. all of a sudden like when it went to version 13 or 1.3 it slowed my mirrorball slots down on facebook so slow I had to download Opera to play it but it plays great in opera and IE. was wondering what changed in both versions to make this happen cause it worked fine up till the 13 and 14 update. the page loads sluggish and game plays slow motion and crappy now. and I changed nothing about FF.

I am using Firefox 14 on Ubuntu11.10. When I am trying to visit few websites like google.com, twitter.com using HTTPS, firefox only shows encrypted content. but while using with HTTP, it works fine.

Could anyone please advise me whats wrong here?

Where can I find the theme for v13 of Firefox? I could easily make out where the icons where in v13 but in 14.01 the icons are smaller and harder to see also monochrome!

None of the themes to download seem to be like it once installed.

I first noticed this after updating to version 13.x and today I updated to 14.x and hoped the problem would go away but it didn't.

Since 13.x when I see files in the "Downloads" window, if I right-click on one, the "Open Containing Folder" is black (not grayed out) so it indicates that it is available, but when I click on it nothing happens. No folder opens. I can trade down my Windows Explorer and find where it is, but that's a pain, when the "Open Containing Folder" should work and take me right to it.

It does not give me any messages, or ask me to choose any program to use to open, it simply does nothing.

Any ideas?

I have a few "Folders" on the bookmark bar and I want to know how or if I even can change the plain Folder looking icon to something more relevant to the folder itself?

Back then with version 13 and now FF has a new update 14.1 hoping that problems with flash player in previous version to fix

Unfortunately the problem still remains !! All my other browsers are working properly smoothly with the latest Adobe flash player version 11.3.300.265 . Only FF when I open this page : http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/find-version-flash-player.html I get this : Your Flash Player Version : 9.0.45.0

Went to Add-ons and have updated this Flash plug in but still I for this : some plugins used by this page are out of date yellow bar on top of any page that content video

I can display this annoying bar but I don't want to I would really like to fix this FF/Flash Issue !!!

Why does it have to be so complicated with FF ?
