When access https://www.anaf.ro and go to Certificate login i have redirect to https://login.anaf.ro/my.policy and i receive error: Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to login.anaf.ro. SSL peer was unable to negotiate an acceptable set of security parameters. Error code: SSL_ERROR_HANDSHAKE_FAILURE_ALERT

   The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
   Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

I am using standard tracking protection, i checked Don’t enable HTTPS-Only Mode, i cleared cookies, nothing work.

I have no idea why my browsing history, open tabs etc. didn't reopen after this restart. I previously had all the settings correct to reopen all windows after a restart, but now there's not even a history available.

I was using DuckDuckGo and it failed a connection, now trying to switch to Firefox as my browser. I still get confused about browsers and search engines, but I want to be able to connect to a website that did not function with DuckDuckGo, all of a sudden and for no reason I could figure out. I have Microsoft 365 Windows 11 (I think) on 1 laptop and Windows 10 on another laptop; I am trying to use the newer laptop with Windows 11 but not totally switched over.

Everyday I get pop ups usually for car parts, all for ICE cars and I have an EV these days . . . . . Please stop sending them. Is that possible? Regards, [edited email from community support forum]

I am trying to download videos from a site that I newly subscribed to. The videos do stream perfectly. The files do not download as video files and will not open at all. When I click on the download link, there is no recognition of a download happening and when I check my files later I have an "internet" file showing with a title but without a video file extension and nothing will open. The file extension is ".html". I am following the step by step instructions from the site involved. Other sites videos are downloading as expected.

Does firefox need to be my default browser? Any suggestions how to remedy this without losing what is working? Are there plug-ins that can address this issue?

I have encountered an issue on some websites where the Japanese text is using the font "Microsoft YaHei" when it should be using "Meiryo." Some examples are on the website bluesky, and bold text on Twitter such as in usernames.

I originally thought it was an issue on my end or in Windows, but when checking other programs and websites such as dengekionline and the non-bold text on Twitter it is using the correct font which I have confirmed via the inspector under the font section. When starting Firefox in safe mode it seems to use the correct font on the previously mentioned websites, so I disabled all my extensions and themes and this did not resolve the issue. I did a Firefox Refresh and this also did not resolve the issue.

I am not familiar with the intricacies on the Firefox about:config to really delve into the exact cause, so I ended up just reverting back to Firefox 134. On Firefox 134 with my same extensions previously the font is now back to Meiryo as it should be which leads me to believe it is something that was changed in Firefox 135. One thing I am considering is that the Japanese text is being recognized as Simplified Chinese by Firefox 135 as Simplified Chinese uses the Microsoft YaHei font as a default.

I have attached some photos that shows my Japanese font settings, and the same post by a user one on Firefox 135 which is using Microsoft YaHei and another on Firefox 134 which is using the correct Meiryo. I have also tried disabling the "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above" and then restarting on 135, but this did not resolve the issue. Thank you for your consideration.

Hi, I'm having some issues with Firefox. I'm opening a website (which I usually visit) even slower than with Tor at the same time. I'd love to know why and how to fix it.

I have downloaded the mozilla extension " screen recorder". After giving all permissions , the logo of this extension is not showing on my screen .SO, I am not able to use this extension facility. I can't log in to certain sites even though they've been on my favourites list for years, i.e. bank account and grocery shopping. I can log in to them using Edge , so what's gone wrong with Firefox. Is the latest updates to blame ???

Website https://www.sparda-bank-hamburg.de is not funktioning anymore after Firefox-update to 134.01, even after deactivation of Firefox´optimised tracking-shelter for this website. Login and Logout on this website is no more possible. I cannot us the opened Cookie-mask for this website anymore. Could you, please, assist to find a solution. Best regards Erich Fülling

It seems certain sites are prone to fire popup tabs, with any click, right clicks included. I close them immediately and the second click acts normal, getting the nav result I was asking for. How to strength the popup blocking function to stop this distracting behavior? Thanks for any pointers. This may prevent me from staying on FF.

My firefox automatically updated on January 14th. Since the update, it opens with the tool bar above/off the screen, the left side off the screen, and it doesn't allow me to scroll. If I go the the firefox icon at the bottom of the screen and click close window, I can sometimes get it to re-open normally and then leave it open for the balance of the day. I am running windows 11. My wife and I are have the same issue right after the update. Is there a fix on the way or a setting I can change to fix this.

Not as important but I want to get away from all things google. Right now my firefox is tied to a gmail account. To be void of google, do I need to completely take firefox off my computer and re-install with a new email account or can I transfer the account to a new email?

I had Firefox installed and working perfectly fine , but I had to factory rest my MSI laptop (windows 11 home) because I had suspect suspicious files I needed to get rid of, after the new install of Firefox each time I try to sign into a google account I would be able to type 2/3 letters and then Firefox crashes and closes down , I had uninstall and downloaded a fresh install from the microsoft store

In current version of firefox when attempting to log in to yahoo.com I get the error message from AT&T:

Something's gone wrong We may be having trouble with your connection. Connecting your device to Wi-Fi could help fix the issue or try again later. If you were using an app, close this page. Otherwise, start over.

No error when using edge or chrome.
