I can no longer access some websites. There are websites I went to quite often which I cannot access any more. All I get is a blank page. I now have to use Edge.

YouTube has been so slow in Firefox. It just takes a ton of time for the video to actually play. It's just a spinning circle in a video. I can refresh several times and then it plays. I cleared my cache, history, data...etc everything from Firefox. That seemed to help for a bit. Then it just resulted back to being slow. It's just in Firefox. I played videos in Edge. It was fine. No issues. It's just FireFox. It started most recently too. It wasn't happening a week ago. I even tried going back to an old version of Firefox. Didn't help. Anyone know how to fix? Not using ad blockers either FYI. I just want videos to play normally and fast.

Hi, I watch specific streaming live show on YouTube every week. Unfortunately, I always have to play it in non-Firefox browser, because the video freezes every couple minutes, while audio track is still playing in the background. Based on the comments from the stream chat, other people have this issue too. Why? How to fix it? It is annoying. Internet connection is ok. Other browsers no issue. Just recently been getting yahoo search engine results to open in new tabs rather than the same tab. I have searched for other users that have the same problem and have done the tracking protection thing and deleted cookies, but nothing helped. Also tried Troubleshooting Mode and it still persists. Any other ideas that may help? I'd appreciate it.

I am using Firefox 123.0.0 (rel. 20-Feb-2023) on a Win 10 Pro v22H2 computer.
I understand that FF123.0.0 is supposed to include a new option to "Report Broken Site" on the menu (hamburger icon) that is described in the support article How do I report a broken site in Firefox desktop? but I can't see this new option. I also checked the menu options under More Tools and Help but can't find it.
Exiting and re-opening Firefox didn't solve the problem.
If Firefox won't let me wait until it pulls its head out of its ass, why am I offered the option?

Firefox version: Mozilla Firefox for Linux Mint mint-001 - 1.0 (123.0 64-bit). OS: Linux Mint 21.3.
I have signed into my account and turned on sync. I have also clicked "Sync now". It does not sync. I have seen numerous support requests like this. The usual responses (make sure you are logged in with the right account, sign out and sign in again, restart Firefox, uninstall and reinstall) do not produce the desired result.
From the other questions I have seen, people are as perplexed about this as I am. Some wait days before, by no apparent trigger, sync starts working. Or perhaps it doesn't.
It is very important to me that this should be syncing. I really do not want to wait days on the off-chance that something might happen.
And yes, I am 100% certain that I am logged into the correct Firefox account.
Grateful for help in resolving this.

Over the past day or two, I've seen firefox incorrectly render fonts on a couple of websites. So far, I've only noticed two websites effected: quotientapp.com and xero.com (not the actual landing page, but rather the login page and other pages available after login https://login.xero.com/identity/user/login). This problem may extend deeper but these are the only places I've found them.
At first I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me but nope, something definitely not right. No new addons have been installed on my system. I've also deleted all local storage / cookies (via the Inspector) for these sites thinking it must be some caching issue - but no, it's still doing it.
Inspecting the font-family shows the issue (this is from the page https://go.quotientapp.com/sign-in) - have attached the images below of what I see.
I do use uBlock, but it is disengaged on Quotient and Xero (these are work related sites, they show no ads). Other add-ons I have installed include Bitwarden, Dark Reader, Firefox Multi-Account Containers and Reddit enhancement suite. I've ensured all add-ons are up to date as of this posting.
FWIW I do allow all the extensions above (with the exception of Firefox Containers which I don't allow) in private mode.
Any insights on how to get to the bottom of this?

I'm using Firefox password manager, which syncs passwords on 4 PCs and 1 Android phone that I use. Getting ready to set up Primary Passwords. Once it is set on one PC, what happens when I go to use one of the other ones, where PP is not set yet? Don't need lock outs or other hassles that I see many users struggle with. Thanks!

Recently I had to refresh Windows 11 on my Dell desktop. It defaulted to McAfee antivirus. I uninstalled McAfee and reinstalled Norton 360 which I had before. I reinstalled Firefox. I have version 123.0.1. I imported my FF bookmarks after exporting them from another computer. Now, FF remembers my IDs but not my passwords. When I log in to a website, FF offers to save my password and when I click yes it pops up a bubble saying "Password saved!" However, next time I go to that website, although it remembers my ID, it does not recall my (supposedly saved) password. In this support site, I see most users with this problem say FF will not remember either their IDs or passwords, whereas FF remembers my IDs, so my problem may be different. In FF help, I see that another password manager could be keeping FF from saving passwords. To the best of my knowledge I have never used another password manager. What is keeping FF from saving my passwords, while remembering my IDs? Is there a Windows Registry setting or a FF About:Configuration setting I need to change? Is re-installing FF a last ditch option?

I am not sure when exactly problem started but for few months I have problem with automatic update of firefox. It properly detects update and downloads it but when I click to restart browser and apply update (this should close browser and display update install bar) nothing happens - browser simply closes. When I launch it again and go into "about firefox" again I see spinning circle next to "installing update". Of course this update never installs. When I close it for 2nd time and go into "about firefox" it goes back to "update ready to install, click to restart" - and again, when I click it browser simply closes without restarting and installing update. I tried removing my profile, using safe mode, disabling antivirus. Issue seems to be related to firefox itself. I also tried removing mozilla maintenance service but it did not help. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? For now only way for me to update firefox is manually download full installer from website and then it installs latest version without any problems - until next month comes and I have to update it again.
when i click on links, they do not open in new tabs without me having to right click for option. it used to. what changed? it was fine until today (3/14).

while reading an MSNBC or Fox News article (for example) from flipboard, suppose there is a video at the top of the article. But I don't want to watch that video... I just want to read the article that appears below it. So I start to scroll down, reading the article, and when the video scrolls off the screen at the top, a picture-in-picture with that video appears at the right side of the article, (sometimes blocking part of the article). If I had wanted to see the video, I would have watched the video! STOP these blasted picture-in-picure pop-ups.
Every time I look for help online, all I see is how to enable/disable the PIP controls, and no help on how to block PIPs themselves.
Sorry for the long post, but I don't know how else to describe the problem succinctly. Jerry (at wit's end)

Firefox doesn't seem to handle date entries properly. For example, when I set a date on a website it automatically changes to something other than what I set it to. Sometimes it's off by a day, sometimes it's off by a dozen days. Sometimes when the site displays a calendar navigator (showing the year and a monthly calendar where you can cycle through the year and month to select a specific day on the calendar) there's no calendar to select from. There might be a year and month selector that I can cycle through but there's no calendar to make a selection. If there is a calendar and I select a date, a different date is displayed in the entry box. This also happens when I manually enter a date. I could type 3/8/2024 and when I hit tab or click off the box it will change to 3/6/2024 or something like that. It's not always the same number of days off. I could then enter 3/10/2024 to try to trick it, but it might display 3/9/2024. The issue seems to extend behind the scenes. For example if I'm paying a bill online the site will automatically show today's date as the day the payment should be made, and it will display correctly, but when I submit my payment an error indicates that the payment date occurs in the past. I have to change the date to a day or two in the future in order for the site to process the payment. I recently noticed in my Geico Timeline, where I can see a history of events, as I scroll, the dates will flicker to a day prior and sometimes they will stay on the day prior until I scroll again and it changes back. Only the day number changes, the time and year remain the same, and it's always to one day prior.
I've run Malware Bytes, Spybot S&D, and Windows virus scan. I've updated Firefox (set to automatic) and disabled plugins. I don't have the problem on other browsers.

This is a rebuilt PC after a hard drive died, Windows 10 Pro N version 22H2. and YE
I am trying to access video content on cbc.ca or Amazon.ca and receive an error message that "no compatible source was found for this media" - Amazon or on cbc.ca "Oops...None of the given sources can be played".
Prior to updating Firefox to version 123.0.1, both played video on these sites without an issue.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled FF and the issue persists. I can play the video from these sites with Chrome or Edge without a problem.
I have installed Java and have tried all of the help tips without success:
I have followed and installed recommendations from : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/fix-video-audio-problems-firefox-windows however the latest Media Feature Pack for windows is from 2019 and is no longer applicable to the 22H2 version. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/mediafeaturepack. Windows store does not offer the pack.
The changes suggested by https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/block-autoplay have been applied and no change
I am not running malware bytes or a VPN.
I have cleared my cache, and browsing history, rebooted = no change.
I have no add-ons, extensions or themes installed.
I prefer to use FF, but require that I can view videos from many sites.

I have been experiencing a problem with Cloudflare specifically on one site (character.ai) and when the verify you are human pops up. It takes me in a seemingly infinite loop. On the Cloudflare community site they say it could be because of things like adblock but even without any adblock or anything of the sort on it does the same thing. Sadly Cloudflare community doesn't support being used on Firefox. So maybe they don't support being used on Firefox in general? I have contacted the actual websites support but they don't seem to even read submitted inquiries because I never hear anything back from them except the automated message they received it. It is now preventing me from using certain things in general which as before it wasn't that big of a deal but recently they changed the site layout and still allowed you to use the old layout but the verification blocks you from using the old layout. The first one is one from a couple of weeks ago when it only effected me trying to open things in a separate tab and the second one is the newer one which prevents me from accessing the old layout. I'm not sure what to do about it since nothing I specifically could do to solve it has helped. I have opted into sharing data under troubleshooting IDK how well that'll help.

Hi there,
I've been having an issue lately where random text I've written is being inserted into other areas of my paragraphs in online text blocks. This mainly happens when I hop between paragraphs and try to edit content.
IE: If I wrote this statement and went back to correct something above, this sentence would "somehow" get added into the spot where I'm editing. It makes NO sense and is only happening within Firefox. Is there a way to fix it? I've noticed this happening on both Facebook and Indeed now too...so, I think it could be more of an issue with Firefox than certain sites.
The image is an example of the text being added in and reinserted. Thanks in advance for the help!

Hi I recently was hacked unfortunately due to a stupid screw up involving a person who had hacked a friend's account and had me download some malware disguised as a "game he worked on" and managed to get all my passwords stored in Firefox (spent 9 hours straight changing all 200 of them and wiping the laptop). I believe I am misinterpreting some things on how secure the storage of passwords are for Firefox as I thought using the "Primary Password" function would encrypt everything properly. The hacker proved he had them unencrypted sending some examples to me to flaunt.
Was he able to attain access to the passwords due to me already having firefox open when I was compromised (even if the primary password is asked before entering each password?) Or is there some issue with firefox not storing them properly? Or is there some other less know issue with windows or edge or something "stealing" the passwords and storing them in an unencrypted file without me knowing?
This whole thing makes me feel less trustful of firefox to say the least and while the hack itself was my fault I just want to know if there was something else I could have done other than using keepass or some other password manager to exclusively store passwords (which is what I am going to do now and probably should have been doing)
TLDR - Primary password did not stop hacker from seeing passwords - Any clarification on whether this was my fault in trusting it for such things or if there is an actual issue with firefox's approach
Thanks for any help or clarification.

I'm using Firefox on Windows 11.
Frequently, copy-and-paste quits working.
I restart the browser and refresh the browser; sometimes it starts working, but most of the time it doesn't.
Restarting my computer seems to restore the functionality.
This has been going on for a few months now. Using version 123.0.1 (64-bit).
Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.
