I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

The 10/18/2022 update changed the theme and color settings for my browser. It is practically unusable. Attempts to use other themes do not solve the problem. Every web page I have used since the update is affected. Screen clip attached. Besides killing my productivity today, this change has made FF unusable! How Do I get this Reset to Prior State?

PS: Just now, I try to click the box for "Email me when someone answers the thread" and it will not mark the box.

Hi, I have been a Firefox user for 30 years, so I want to comment on your product. Every year I notice the performance of the browser getting worse and worse, more and more errors unexpected closures and slowdowns, it's bad to work because such small crashes make you look for another alternative. I do not write this maliciously, but that you think about how to improve the performance and speed of firefox. I only hope that someone wise will read this and pass it on to the higher-ups to make real changes.

In any case, you are going in the right direction and I still consider firefox with the most friendly and easy to use browser.

The newest update as of writing (106.0) added a feature where instead of having private browsing attached to the main Firefox Icon, it now opens up it's own new Icon. Is there a way to turn this off or have private browsing windows open up attached to the main Icon again? Photo added to shown what I mean by Private Browsing attached to main window.

AFter my last update to firefox, randomly it will close and reopen but when it does im suddenly signed out of all my accounts. gmail, youtube, etc. I have cookies and special cookies saved, im not in private browsing, and when i close the window normally it saves all my sign ins. It never use to do this until recently.

My firefox has been crashing for the past 2 hours, tried troubleshoot mode but it is still crashing every other second.

On some websites the tabs are not crashing- example mozilla website. On other websites (Twitch) -reddit it is crashing.

I can't get in to my email and I want to know why and what to do. I noticed that, at the bottom of this HELP ? page, it says to "email me when someone answers the thread". I CAN'T GET IN TO MY EMAIL, SO HOW IS THIS GOING TO HELP ME ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

I always get this error when trying to do Google searches, and to solve this problem I have to delete the active logins each time as shown in the attached screen. Can you help me to solve this problem definitely ?

I used to get a display in the middle of a "New Page" with Firefox - recent revisions have removed that and I only get a Google search bar at top of new page. Help is appreciated. What I am looking for is displayed in images from my Chrome browser - similar, but not like the way Firefox displayed it.

When starting a new firefox instance, it starts the window with the same size and position as the last instance had. However, when the last size stretched from top of the screen to the bottom, a new instance will always appear slightly shorter than the height of the screen, leaving a small gap between the bottom of the browser window and the bottom of the screen. The remembered size works perfectly for sizes less than the height of the screen.

The xulstore.json file is not corrupt, as I've tried removing it and altering it, resulting in the same issue. I have also tried changing the window height inside the xulstore.json file to larger than the screen size, and found that it get's cropped to slightly less than the window height, same as my issue above. This has led me to believe that when firefox starts a new instance, the size is cropped so that it doesn't extend past the screen borders. This is good, but the size it gets cropped to is clearly bugged, unless it's intended to crop to less than screen size.

I use a window manager that lets me easily snap windows to each other as well as to the screen borders, so firefox always leaving a slight gap when it starts drives me mad as I have to manually resize it every time.

I use windows 10, firefox 106.0 (64 bit), however I experience the same issue with both firefox developer edition and firefox nightly.

Recent changes have made my private browsing windows create a separate item on my taskbar. Is there any currently existing method to revert this to allow them to share a single icon other than downgrading firefox?

Why are both the Firefox and Edge Web Browsers blocking the Republican National Committee (RNC) Web Site "protectthevote.com" web site and functions? Our country is supposed to have the most "safe and secure" election system, so why is there a block on any effort "To Protect The Vote?" It seems that the base colours of some add-on themes shows, but most of them just shows as a dark grey background for the firefox homepage. It shows the theme on the tab pages and bookmarks and etc, but it just cuts to grey after. I tried: Reinstalling firefox Setting the 'Override the colours specified by the page with your selection above' to 'Never' Went to the troubleshoot mode, which, for some reason, wouldn't let me click anything I reset Firefox It does the same thing with Firefox nightly and other firefox browsers.

Help!!!

I have tried to figure this out on my own, with no success. Can you send me step by step instructions on how to move my bookmarks to the side of my browser screen. Right now they go across the top of the screen. Thanks!

Why is private browsing now in a new window on the taskbar? How can I change back to the previous when all the firefox windows were on top of each other?

I am experiencing an issue with Sync for my Containers. I've run through this several times now, and I know this is supposed to happen by default. However, it is not syncing for me. I added the extension, created a container and added a site to it. I selected 'Limit to Designated Sites'. When I install Firefox and login on a different device, the multi-container extension is automatically downloaded but not the containers/site list I created on the initial device.

I have checked 'Enable Sync' on both devices in the container settings.
