Hi, I want to see the videos on this site, but only works with G Chrome https://lalettrepatriote.com/marine-le-pen-a-ete-recue-a-lelysee-dans-la-recherche-dune-concorde-nationale/ I think ive tried everything, new profil etc The site says it's problem of pub blocker. Can't find one!

I have a problem with how firefox is treating link to the file of type ".wotmod". For some reason firefox without asking is just opening file in the active tab (displaying it in the browser) when what I want to do is to download the file. Can i somehow force firefox to let me decide what to do with files of that extension? I did set action for all available ContentTypes to "Always ask" and I did check "Ask whether to open or save files" option in settings, but still Firefox is just opening those files in the browser. Other browsers like Chrome or Edge are letting me download the file, but I would prefer to use firefox for all my browsing needs. Every time I click a link in Firefox it gets denied. I get notifications like You don't have permission to access this site. Works in Microsoft Edge. Have already tried emptying cookies and caches.

Firefox says that it is now my default browser, which is what I wanted, but my browser is still duckduckgo, and firefox browser is not on the available list of browsers to select as default. I downloaded it. I selected "make it my default browser". But it isn't. It's still duckduckgo.

Recently, when I use this browser, some of my Yahoo emails received are garbled and resemble computer code. But I don't have this problem if I use Chrome or my android phone. It is a recent problem and does not affect all my emails.

I'm using Firefox 102.0 (64-bit) on Win 10. When I click on the download icon of email attachments or Whatsapp files, firefox opens the pdf files in a new tab instead of downloading them. All other file formats are downloaded correctly instead. How can I correct this problem, please?

Since 2 days ago, I've been unable to stream Amazon prime videos via Firefox. I'd get the error "Video unavailable. For assistance, please go to amazon help".

Amazon prime videos stream fine in Chrome Amazon prime app on my Android phone also works fine.

I have tried everything on the amazon help page (unless they don't apply), still won't work.

(List of their tips:

   * Close the Prime Video app on your device (or your web browser, if you're watching on your computer).
   * Restart your computer or connected device.
   * Ensure that your device or web browser has the latest updates.
   * Ensure that you’re not using the same account on multiple devices - you can only stream the same title to two devices at a time.
   * Ensure that any external device is connected to your TV or display using an HDMI cable that is compatible with HDCP 1.4 (for HD content) or HDCP 2.2 (for UHD and/or HDR content).
   * Pause other Internet activity – especially if other devices are using the network at the same time.
   * Check your Internet connection. You may need to restart your connected device and/or router.
   * If you’re able to connect to the Internet on other devices, update your connect device’s DNS settings. Please check with your device’s manufacturer for further details.
   * If you’re attempting to control a device using Alexa, try to unpair then pair the device again in the Alexa app.
   * Deactivate any VPN or proxy servers. )

Similar issue with Audible. Cannot play anything via Firefox. It's just frozen. Audible app on my phone works fine.

Why are google sites (Youtube, Gmail and Search) getting disconnected when all other sites are still connected to the Net? This has been happening since November 2021.

When that happens I close the FF and then immediately open it. Now the google sites work properly.

Never had that problem with other sites.....never!

Why the hell is this happening? Is FF responsible or Google?

So what is the solution?

Firefox allow to disable access to canvas for lowering fingerprinting, it's cool !

But as web developer : i like to ask this access before try to using it,

Something like :

1. Do you alllow canvas ? 2. Show the browser part 3. Wait for user answer 4. It's OK : download PDF done with canvass 5. It's not OK : shown an error to user.

Audio was working fine until recently. Now, firefox has no audio playing on any site.

Some sites show "PLAYING" in tab, but others like YouTube don't show that notification. Even with "PLAYING", there is no audio output.

I checked Windows settings and Firefox is set up correct (and the same as it was before it stopped working), see screenshot attached. Otherwise, I restarted Firefox, tried it in troubleshoot mode, and reinstalled Firefox. No changes.

Possible system changes include: Maybe a Firefox update occured and broke the program? I installed the game Civ5 from Steam which required some Windows VS redistributibles installed.

I have been using Firefox as my default browser for many years and much prefer it to the other browsers. However, several weeks ago Firefox started blocking the download of my morning newspaper. Now I have to copy the link from my morning newspaper email and paste it into Chrome to get access to my newspaper rather than simply clicking the link in the email. While I found this very annoying, when I couldn't find a workaround, I just continued to copy/paste into Chrome. Today I tried to download my IRA quarterly statement and found Firefox is blocking this pdf download also. Note that in neither case does Firefox tell me that they are blocking the downloads and they just do not download and some pdfs do download. So this is now getting beyond just annoying. Is there a workaround for this new Firefox problem or is my only alternative to define Chrome or Edge as my default browser and give up Firefox?

I have just switched from Google Chrome to Firefox version 101.01. There is a legitimate website that I use a lot, it is an on-line library where I get eBooks on a regular basis.

Since I switch to Firefox I am not able to successfully get on the website. The website is HTTPS://broward.overdrive.com or HTTPS://www.overdrive.com, a division of the Broward County Library in Florida.

I continue to get the Error code: MOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_SELF_SIGNED_CERT. When I click “Accept the Risk and Continue button, Firefox then just returns to the original error screen. I noticed it also adds the site to the Firefox Certificate Manger. I had like 20 of the site listed in the certificate manager. I removed all but one, but each time I click the “Accept the Risk and Continue button it adds another exception to the manager but I am still not able to successful reach the site.

I have been using overdrive.com for at least 6 months and it was working with no issues until I switch to Firefox, so the website is not the problem.

I am using Windows 10 as an operating system on my desktop.

Please help me get back my access to this library website.

I am having an odd problem. For years now, I have always used Gmail and its integrated chat function on a daily basis through Firefox. I upgraded to their new chat a while ago with no problems until yesterday.

Starting yesterday, Gmail started getting a bit choppy with me in Firefox on my home connection. Google chat, if it loads at all, will very quickly tell me that it is unable to connect to individual conversations. Indeed, the windows for those conversations will not even load. This is the same regardless of whether I try to load chat through the main Gmail window or if I try to load chat directly at chat.google.com. The site works fine when I test it through Chrome. I have tried clearing cookies and refreshing the site data. It does not seem to matter if I am in incognito mode, so I don't think this is an extension problem. I've added exceptions for my antivirus, so I don't think it's that either.

The REALLY odd thing, however, is that the problem apparently seems to appear only when I am using Firefox and I have my computer connected to my router over ethernet. Firefox loads chat fine when my computer is just on wi-fi (and, again, seems to be fine regardless of whether I'm on ethernet or wi-fi when it comes to Chrome).

I'm not quite sure what to make of this. Other websites seem to be loading in Firefox as normal, regardless of whether I'm on ethernet or wi-fi. Perhaps the only other notable connection problem is that I have had problems with buffering on Spotify that has cropped up at roughly the same time (this one happens on both Chrome and Firefox).

It may well be that my ethernet cable got damaged somehow overnight, but given the fact that other websites have been fine and that I load Gchat fine when using Chrome, I figured I'd ask here to see if there is something I can check on the software side of things because given the setup up in my apartment, restringing a new ethernet cable would be a bit of a hassle. I'm happy to provide any additional information or logs that I can, but I only consider myself an educated layperson when it comes to computers, so I'm not sure what to attach that could be helpful.

Hello, I am using Firefox 101.0.1 (64-bit) on windows 11 Pro

I am unable to search through tags in firefox address bar as explained here in this documentation https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/address-bar-autocomplete-firefox

with that said, the problem is only with "+ tagname" not working, as I am able to filter through bookmarks using "* bookmark" and history and tabs. However, for tag search with "+", firefox doesn't work.

Not, sure if the search byTag function is removed from Firefox or not ??

Tried uninstall, update, troubleshoot mode, restart, clear cache, malware detect, task mgr, etc. Windows 10 software, drivers, firewall, hardware, memory, etc are ok.

Firefox hangs, no rhyme or reason, random pages, every hour or so.

Am I the only one having issue?

Autofill for payment and address information has stopped working. The option to choose one will come up, but when you click it, nothing fills in. Password autofill has been working, though.

Whenever I try to full screen a video the first time I open the browser, the video will not completely fill the screen. It only happens on firefox and the first time I open the browser. I thought it was my extensions but it was not that. A thread was created on reddit describing the problem I have. When I visit Marketwatch* on Firefox in full screen mode on Windows machine, there is a huge gap of blank space on the page and I have to scroll dwn a long way to read the rest of the page. It's like the columnar data is being stacked on the page and not dsplayed side-by-side, as it should be. This doesn't happen in Brave, Chrome, Iron, or MS browsers. On those browsers, the information is placed correctly side-by-side, and not stacked above or below each other on the page. (i say "columnar" to describe issue appearance, not as a known refernce to the cause of the issue.)

Firefox updated to 101.0.1 and I miss all addons and my customized toolbar! During update I saw it created an "Old Firefox data" folder on my Desktop.

How to bring back the missing parts?
