starting about a month ago, my Firefox browser has become very slow. Sometimes now when I click a link (this happens about every 4-5 links) the spinning wheel of death appears and the browser doesn't respond. I have to force-quit

Since the last update 155.01 I can't use Firefox as it freezes and hangs after 3 - 10 seconds. On Windows 10 , 64 bit. There seems a bug with the last update for Windows 10 users

Not sure the crash report is related to the issue.

The same issue happens to all of my 3 Windows 10 PCs since the update from today.

I have uninstalled Firefox and downloaded again, but same issue happens again.

I cleared the cache also but to no avail

How can I use Firefox again?

Ever since the latest update i've noticed my firefox browser after using it for a while starts eating up all the ram until my computer freezes and needs to restart, i've heard this issue happen to others too but i am wondering if there are any ways to prevent it or will there be any updates to fix it?

I use my firefox on bazzite and have nothing else running in the background, after a while i watch the stats in my task manager and i see firefox using over 10GB of ram and climbing and have to shut it down before it freezes my pc

(can't show any screenshots because if i do then my pc would probably crash when trying to SS it while it has its problem)

when I click on my AOL mail in a few seconds it freezes my computer, if on chrome it works fine, had computer we dune $155 but still the same. this dose the same thing on my lap top. all other sites work fine till I click on AOL mail.......

I’m experiencing a strange issue on Firefox where a separate blank/dark window briefly appears over the browser while I’m browsing, then disappears.

The window appears to have the Firefox icon in the top-left and what looks like a Firefox tab/address-bar interface, but there is no visible text or error message.

It happens randomly while Firefox is open, including while watching YouTube. It does not appear when Firefox is closed.

Troubleshooting already performed:

• Windows 11 cloud reinstall using Remove everything
• New Microsoft account
• Defender Offline scan clean
• Multiple malware scanners clean
• Malwarebytes Premium installed
• uBlock Origin (only extension i use) removed/tested, but the issue remained

I took a picture showing the window appearing. Is this a known Firefox issue, background Firefox process, or something else?

When I login to Fidelity site, my username is displayed one letter at a time with noticeable delays. It started about 4 weeks ago. I noticed Remote Procedure Call was active with 4% CPU. I disabled remote access. The issue went away for 3 days, but has resumed today.

Is my FireFox hacked?

I changed browser to Microsoft Edge. The problem went away.
