Where can I download Firefox Extended Support Release (ESR 52) for Windows in order to continue using the Session Manager extension? It's extremely important and vital that I am able to restore my historical sessions and also save multiple sessions going forward.

When I try to download it, I can see it will be 60 version instead.

Unfortunately I mistakenly updated my ESR 52 version today without realizing I'd lose that extension. This is very frustrating, so to alleviate the issue, I'd just like to have the older version and stick with it. Thank you.

I'm stuck on an older version of MAC OSX. Not my choice. 10.6.6

I had not upgraded Firefox for some time (version thirty-something), but recently checked the "automatic update" box. I suddenly found myself updated to FF 49 even though that isn't supported on my version. It crashed constantly. After some research I downgraded to 45 ESR, now 45.5.1, but I'm still having multiple crashes daily. 8 so far this AM. Firefox has become absolutely unusable for us.

How do I downgrade further to a stable version?

Regardless of versions, FF seams to "leak" on OSX, and after opening and closing enough windows I have to exit and restart in order to free up memory or performance grinds to a halt.Even that is more frequent under 45 than it was before.

I have a Windows 10 Pro X64 Lenovo which is domain joined. The user frequently uses Firefox as their browser. When they do, they can get frequent and repeating Blue Screens. When I look at the memory dump files, I see that the faulting application is Firefox. Can somebody assist me with this file and offer some insight into how I can circumvent further disasters?

I do have the memory.dmp file. Can I share it?

Firefox and my I.E. 11 Browsers are both very slow most of the time & getting slower. Firefox is very slow to open, hangs, won't respond for a few seconds, etc. I also see a message at times, right above address bar that reads "Mozilla Firefox (not responding)". I have done a refresh of Firefox, started in safe mode, etc. with no increase in performance. I've also cleaned the S.S.D. (solid state drive) (disk cleanup). Please help!

In the last few days (not sure exactly when) I have been unable to log on to my online bank account. Firefox freezes so I can't put my password into the relevant box. Plus none of the 'buttons' on Firefox will operate - file, edit etc. I have version 60.5.2. Firefox works fine on all other websites. I have tried emptying cache and deleting browsing history. I can access the online site with other browsers. Any ideas on how I can use Firefox to access my account

Thanks

Hello. I have searched and tried to solve this for days now and I simply can't figure it out.

Firefox version: Mozilla Firefox 31.5.3 ESR Firefox plays a presentation with MP4 video.

At first we got this error generally when we tried to play MP4: Video Format or MIME Type is not supported Adding: "AddType video/mp4 .mp4" to the .htaccess file on the server solved that. After this we have been able to play mp4 inside Firefox without any issues. We can even start Firefox from within a script as long as we run this script from the command line or Desktop menu as the standard user.

However running the exact same script using crontab for the standard user, again results in the "Video Format or MIME Type is not supported" error. Export display is set and Firefox does open as it should. Youtube videos and everything else in the presentation is working. We simply just can't play MP4 video content. Just as if the .htaccess information is ignored or what ever else could be the cause.

Anyone who can explain what the differences between opening Firefox from users crontab and users Terminal console could be in terms of playing MP4 video?

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

Kind Regards, Kevin

We are facing an issue with Mozilla Firefox when we try to deliver it via Application Virtualisation where the browser tabs continue to crash. We have tried launching this in safe mode and the issue continues. Is there anything else we can do to troubleshoot this issue? or has anyone else experienced this issue?

We are experiencing a second issue where when we try sequencing Firefox with Adobe Flashplayer via AppV, the published application will not show the flash plugin in the firefox options screen. We can see that flashplayer has successfully installed within the AppV package but it seems to be failing to acknowledge the files in the browser. Has anyone experienced anything similar to this?

Thanks

i have been given task to change config for Mozilla ESR users in our company. I'm trying to change the value "security.enterprise_roots.enabled" which is disabled by default in update channel "esr". I am managing a group of network booted Ubuntu 14.04 workstations at a small town (public) library and the current version of Firefox for Ubuntu 14.04 crashes. The machine have all of the file systems NFS mounted. Installing an older version (Firefox 52.6.0 ESR) works however. The new version of Firefox works just fine on the pair library owned laptops, that also run Ubuntu 14.04, but the laptops are self-contained -- they boot off their local disks. Why is this? I have pretty much determined that the only definable issue is that the network booted machines are using NFS for their file systems. No, the workstations are not sharing logins -- each machine auto-logins to a *different* user, each with their own *separate* $HOME directory and they are *not* trying to share firefox configuration trees ($HOME/.mozilla/firefox/...). But all of these directories are NFS mounted. Oh, the server for the /home file system is running CentOS 6.
