HI I want to change my Firefox Account email to a new one because my email [email removed]@gmail.com has been hacked and i want to change it to my new email: [email removed]@gmail.com

What is apparently the official Firefox policy is incredibly dumb:

They provide users with that ability to add secondary email addresses, recovery codes, and authentification, BUT they REQUIRE access to the primary email address to make the secondary email address primary.

IF the primary email address is unavailable, the secondary email addresses, recovery codes, and authentification are completely useless for making the secondary email address the primary one.

This supposedly provides "enhanced security".

Pro Tip: If you deny ALL internet access, you will be very secure on the internet.

Not very useful, but..

Genuinely astonished that Firefox Support thinks this is not insane.

I changed email adress 3 month ago and didn't update my Firefox profile. With only that adress registered (no secondary email) I cannot change to a new one or add secondary because a confirmation mail are sent to my old account, that are deleted. Are there any way to change email, add phone number or .... without access to the old email account?

My account has my primary email and it used to have my secondary email connected as well. I now want to create a new account with the secondary email so I can have another profile, so I deleted my secondary email from the manage accounts on my primary email. I ensured that this says it is removed on all devices and it is. But when I try to create a new account with that secondary email, I keep getting the error that I need to sign in my primary email and I am taken back to my profile with my primary email.

How can I fully detach my secondary email so that I can make a new account with it?

Firefox is sending notifications to an old email address. In my profile, the address is [email 1 removed]@live.be, but I'm receiving notifications at [email 2 removed]@skynet.be. Can you fix this?

Hello, I simply need to update my email, however find no option to update it. Desktop Raspberry Pi 5 desktop OS Firefox Browser 141.0 (aarch64), Mozilla Firefox for Raspberry Pi OS, raspberrypios - 1.0 Here's what I see: attachment.

I did use yahoo email for long time but now I want to switch to g mail address for my own protection and will keep my home address and will use my personal information as is not further changes.

I no longer have access to the primary account email. I went under "manage account" tried to make the secondary email my primary, Firefox sends verficiation code to my primary email. I do not have access to that email.

Please help.

I had my work email as my primary and used asimha.cloud@gmail.com as my secondary email. I'm no longer with that company and don't have access to that email. I'd like to use asimha.cloud@gmail.com as my primary email. The work email in question that has to be removed is - simhaaj@vmware.com.

Original Firefox account uses an older email now defunct and is no longer accessible. Security code being sent to add secondary email address can't be completed as older email account isn't accessible. Suggestions?

I recently discovered a problem with an addon I wanted to report. The product page only has an email support link, which opens up MIcrosoft Mail. I prefer not to use it.

Is there any other way to get the developers email address?

my old email was discontinued kanokla no longer provides the service ,so i got a gmail address and i wish to update my primary but i cant because i need a 6 digit code from my kanokla email which doesnt exist any more.so i cannot update my info because i am working towards installing Linux and i am trying to get everything in order. can you help please my new email is [email removed]@gmail.com

I no longer have access to the gmail i used to sign up Moxillla Account since they deleted it wrongfully. How can i change my moxilla email to another one? I tired to add secendary email on Moxilla but i need to first fill the verification code which is sent to my now-nonexistant gmail. Please help me.
