I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

I've followed information supplied by a friend in that I've highlighted the greasemonkey in the toolbar, clicked on it and done a refresh. How do I then do find a copy link? I can get all sorts of tasks eg Back, reload, bookmark,send link (which takes me to Outlook), view background, select all, inspect element etc. NO COPY LINK.

A few days ago, my good old FF (12) stopped downloading and saving. Actually, in the download screen it looks as if it was downloaded (shows in its full size in the Download screen), but the 'open' option is gray and it can't be found in the download folder. Also, when using 'save as' for web pages, only the html folder (images, etc.) is found where saved, but its 'mate' (the htm file) is not, and the 'open' option (on download screen) is gray. I deleted the mimetype.rdf and the downloads.sqlite files; I disabled all the relevant FF addons, changed downloading folder etc.--- nothing helps. Do you have any idea? Thanks

I would like to start using firefox as my default browser. The problem I have hundreds of passwords stored in ie9 that work just fine. I need to move the passwords to accomplish this. I can't seem to get an answer anywhere.

Had a link to Firefox on my taskbar. Said the program was no longer available. Deleted the shortcut. Can't find Firefox when I search Programs and Files. Downloaded FF 17. Run the download. Says that I may not be able to use all the items of the new program. Asks me to sign in as Administrator or use current sign-in. I AM the administrator. No combination of Name and Password work

When I check the version of Firefox I have on my computer, it says FF3. However, when I go to various sites, I keep getting the prompt that my browser is not up to date and I may not be able to view it all. when I sign in, I also get the message to update and I have done this several times with no deletion of the prompt. Should I remove FF and then reinstall it? Can you give me steps I need to take to make these prompts disappear? Thanks.

All of a sudden after one of firefox's MANY "updates" I am now getting this error when trying to download to my Desktop which is where I want my downloads to go:

"C:\Users\*********\Desktop\***** could not be saved, because you cannot change the contents of that folder."

I haven't changed anything, downloaded any useless plugins that just slow down firefox slower than it already is, and I haven't done anything to warrant this error. I refuse to set another folder because my desktop is where I want my downloads to go. They are easy to delete because they are right there and I don't have to open multiple folders to delete files.

I have been using Firefox as my browser for at least a couple years. I no long ever use IE9. Should I uninstall it? If I do, are there other programs on my PC that will be affected? If I should dump it, what is the best way to do it? Win 7 64-bit is my OS.

I have a mac powerbook G4 OSX 10.5.8 I USED to have a Firefox browser, but I got sucked in by an invitation to update, didn't realize that the circle with a line through it meant, "don't try to put this in your computer" but it must mean something like that because even tho I later tried to load a different update for a Firefox browser that said for mac osx10.5 or later, and that came up with a circle with a line through it too. How do I find the Firefox version that is compatible with my laptop? The old one was working just fine until I tried the update!!! Please advise.

My email downloads, mainly the small pictures, 350 KB or less will download fast just as usual. Recently though the large picture files, 1 MG or larger will show slow download speeds and will not fully download. Using GoDaddy for email, checked with teck support and trouble was not on their servers. When opening the file only about 15% of the picture will download and the remaining percentage appears a grey tone. Cleaned up old download files, downloaded most recent updates, Firefox 17. Still no luck with the larger downloads. Anywhere I can adjust the download speeds of my larger email files? Any clues as to what is going on?

I am running Leopard (10.5.8) on my PowerBook G4. I tried to update to Snow Leopard but said I couldn't so I am figuring can't get Mountain Lion. That means I can't get upload a new version of Firefox and can't get Flashplayer. It is NOT possible to get a newer computer. What are my options.

I keep getting a message that soon my browser will no longer be supported so I try to get the new version of firefox and get the message "Your system doesn't meet the requirements to run Firefox. " I try to contact FF support and get the message I must have the latest version of FF to proceed... so Iam being sent in a vicious circle.... I have 2 powerpc running osx10.4.11 and 10.5.8 respectively... these do everything I need a laptop to do but now I am having this issue that I soon may not have a browser HELP

I'm SO sick and tired and completely fed up with Mozilla's BRAINDEAD BRAINDEAD BRAINDEAD update policy for Firefox, and I want to get out of this madness NOW -- so, is there an easy and straight-forward way to "downgrade" (well, kind of) Firefox 17 Desktop to 10.0.11 ESR, so that all settings and customizations and add-ons remain functional? Does simply installing the ESR package over the installed desktop release work? Did anybody try already?

I Downloaded and installed v17 beta on my desktop (W7/64). OK I noticed later that the version had changed without doing anything (moved back to v16.0.2, and displayed in Afrikaans).

Note that a second drawer is installed under Program files X86 (Mozilla maintenance service)

I uninstalled both drawers (Firefox & mozilla maintenance service) several times through windows control panel. Every times remain some leftovers (e.g desktop icon, and the drawers listed above , but they are generally empty) I tried cleaning registry afterwards (Tuneup utilities, Ccleaner) and even reboot the machine)

And it's always the same story: Firefox icon re-appears on my desktop, and can be normally opened . The software is always displayed in afrikaan language .

Moreover, I noticed (when I try to open the drawer (program files X86) that windows explorer freezes.

I had same problems on 2 windows 7 partitions, same computer. But never under windows 8

I really could do with a bit of help. It looks as though this piece of software is corrupt, and I really don't understand how it can manage to reappear a couple of minutes after being uninstalled . Otherwise it's not a genuine Firefox version ?

I made screenshots of unistall/cleaning/opening process if that's of any interest to you But I can't attach a file!

Trying to update flash via the browser since that seems to be the only way now. But it refuses. The last 2 updates, every time I have tried, the Download is immediately canceled and no matter what I do it will not download. Last update I had to get a friend to send me the file directly.

When I was installing FireFox "PCSpeedup" was inside your window. So I ran it and was about to purchase it but could not find anything as far as reviews. Is this a product Mozilla recommends?

the icon disappears from bottom tool bar at the bottom of my mac book. Each time I turn computer on I have to go to trash bin/ documents. I have to double click on the firefox document. It opens a window, I have to double click on that, then it firefox will open. I would like to know how to get my icon back to the bottom of my mac book...
