Firefox Nightly (next generation web browser test) has no animation delay when playing sprunki, but there is a bug in the beta and current versions that become delay. (That's why I use other browsers.) There is no delay in other browsers. I hope it will be fixed.

I'm very frustrated with FF. It's running slow. Downloads are slow etc. I've tried everything that FF has recommended up to and including "refresh" with no effect. It's getting to the point I'm considering not using FF. Does anybody have any suggestions?

I tried all common troubleshooting steps: deleting cache reinstalling different settings turning off adblocker/vpn disabled efficiency in task manager and set it permanently to off in FF

I used to have 1000+ tabs in 2016 no issue. I had problem in past with Firefox using 100% CPU which now it is not using only like 50, but memory is getting full 89% i use also large page file on ssd. Problem is even when i restart firefox it is slow with low RAM usage! SO that's not it! Even 5 tabs sometimes it is slow!

It is so damn slow it drives me crazy! I tried also Quantum in past when Firefox has 100% CPU usage bug and it was only tiny bit better but still caused 100% CPU usage!

All other browsers are anti user cannot even stop Autoplay literal terrorist Firefox is only normal browser unfortunately performance compare to 2016 got absolutely abysmal! I had this problem even in-between reinstals of OS so it doesn't seem it is me. I play demanding games no issues on my PC...

I walked away from my laptop for about an hour and when I came back my task bar was gone. What happened to it? and how do I get it back? Below is the spec's of my lap top that I use/have been using/task bar missing

When saving images from websites using the save image as feature, Firefox will freeze up and not register any mouse click or anything instead making a ding noise every time is register a mouse click. This will continue for like 30 seconds before it becomes normal then it will repeat this for every image. How can I solve this?

Lately, I’ve noticed Firefox consuming more RAM, especially with multiple tabs open. Is this a common issue in recent updates? What are some tips to optimize Firefox performance on lower-end PCs? Would love to hear your experiences!

Firefox is already running, but is not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed to open a new window.

I've rebooted, reinstalled, can't get it working.

He said its down to some update which for some reason I dont have but in the attached image, he is able to add his own wallpaper in nightly but I am not for some reason. Would love some support

When I open Firefox it opens a maximized window with tabs, then it opens a minimized with a single tab, then it reopens a maximized window with all session tabs. Each window displays in succession, one window at a time.

I'm on desktop using Windows 11.

I just read a post saying this behavior was caused by the resist fingerprinting feature. Can someone explain how that causes the repeated opening of browser window 3 times. Is there a way to retain the anti-fingerprinting behavior w/o the multiple window opening behavior?

I restarted Firefox on my Mac earlier, which I think updated it from 136 to 137. After reopening it, web pages won’t load anymore. They either time out or just load indefinitely without doing anything. I went through the troubleshooting page and tried reinstalling it, which didn’t help. My computer’s firewall is off as well. I’ve tried refreshing it multiple times, and I get a message that Firefox has crashed before it actually refreshes. After that, pages will load normally for a very short amount of time (about 30 seconds) before stopping again. Pages are still loading normally on Chrome and Safari, so it’s only Firefox that’s having an issue. Does anyone have any solutions for what this could be/ways to fix it?

I believe this problem began in 133. I've noticed that if FF is open for a few hours, it starts to develop a very noticeable input lag. For example, if I'm watching a YouTube video and hit an arrow key to advance the video, there will be a couple of seconds before the browser registers the key press. It behaves like a high CPU issue but I do not detect high CPU usage when this is happening. Restarting the browser resolves the issue for a few hours.

This is happening on Windows 11 as well as on a Mac running Sonoma.

When I open FF 137 on my iMac running OS 12.7.6, it just keep trying and trying with no link. When I try and quit it needs to be forced quick to stop running. There are no fire walls and it worked yesterday 4-5-25 just fine, but no go today. I tried replacing FF and still no luck, what do I try now, [email removed]@yahoo.com

So, i have a laptop, with integrated cpu graphics (Intel UHD) and discrete gpu (RTX 3060), first times when i set in Windows settings to use Firefox powerful gpu, it just won't, i tried restarting browser but i forgot that i have opened private tab, so i not restarted browser. So, on any pages like WebGL Aquarium, i have pretty low fps, in comparison to other browsers (like Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome). Then, after i see that tab, i closed it, and after restart i got my fps, but.. still lower than other browsers, on WebGL Aquarium with 30k fishes, Firefox max fps is around 35, but on Chrome is around 70 (two times faster). I found one page that shows gpu that uses for acceleration, and it shows pretty weird information in Firefox. https://kdashg.github.io/misc/webgl/low-power.html So, in Chrome it says like "Nvidia RTX 3060 Mobile GPU", and when i choose integrated gpu for this browser in windows, it says like "Intel UHD GPU", but, in Firefox, on first tries it said same, but when i got discrete gpu acceleration, it says that i have "Nvidia Geforce GTX 980". I was like, what? Where it did come from? This explains why I have a fps two times lower but who will explain to me why this gpu is here? I tried to change all acceleration settings in browser, but when i just disabled any acceleration, still shows GTX 980 what is more weird than if it just shows like nothing or Intel GPU, cause is disabled but still uses hardware acceleration, but no matters if i let Firefox use recommended performance settings or set to use acceleration when is available, it shows GTX 980. I think it's about a bug, or something? I can't say that's Windows problems, drivers, or any other thing, cause, other browsers don't act like this, and i just don't have GTX 980 in my laptop on side with RTX 3060 and Intel GPU, anyone even know that laptop like this exists? I am trying to access iDRAC 7 on a Dell Poweredge R520. On version 133.0.3 I get a An error occurred during a connection to 192.168.1.20. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR. I know that the problem is that Firefox stop supporting older versions of TLS. So I choose to also install an older version of Firefox (43.0). On that version I get a The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified error. I used to have no problems accessing iDRAC 7. Has anyone else been able to resolve this problem?
