Hello,
When I sign in to new websites, they never do keep me logged in. I noticed this problem is present only for services that are working for my friends, that use other browsers, so they can keep users signed in. For the websites that I had been logged in before it stopped working, I'm still signed in and I can enjoy not having to log in every time.
I believe it all started happening when I cleared my cookies once, around half a year ago.
I did however check my settings, and I don't have selected option, that clears cookies after each browser session. My password saving feature works as well.

With increasing frustration, I'm am trying top retain certain cookies when deleting other cookies and history. Instructions I read say use "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox closes" with exceptions noted, and do not toggle "clear history when Firefox closes." Except that in my Firefox settings, they work in tandem - the choices are both on or both off. I can't turn one on and the other off. Under manage exceptions, I am entering the entire website address with the https. Any suggestions? Thanks. Joe Markarian

Hello.
Our site has SSO authorization with 2 different domains.
To sync cookies there are 2 ways:
1 - Some kind of iframe hack, to make it hidden for users. 2 - If browser blocks thrid-party cookies (ex. Safari), we can move cookie sync to redirect flow (redirect to auth domain, then to subdomain and so on).
But then, cookie is under dFPI policy(cookieBehavior=5) - it's unclear, are cookies blocked or not.
So we have a bug, at 1 process of cookies sync (iframe) and authorizion is just dropped, every time as cookies sync.
If we had a chance to detect dFPI behavior of FireFox, we would move users to redirect flow.
Is there a way to detect cookieBehavior=5 (dFPi)?

After tyring this 4-5 times, Youtube started having hundred of thousands of GB cached too!! So now, despite managing data an clearing these repeatedly, there's more than when I started. I have a constant problem with Chase.com - they are telling me it's Firefox, then it's because of the cookie blockers on FireFox. I have heard every excuse under the sun. I try to login, I get chase doesn't recognize device, then they send a one time code, which doesn't work, so I have to call them, they tell me it's Firefox causing the problem. I know that's a myth because the same thing happens on MS Edge. Is anyone else having this problem? Do you have any suggestions?

I have tried EVERY suggested fix for viewing Kaltura videos in the FireFox browser. NOTHING works! I refuse to use Google (they know enough about everyone as it is) and Edge works but I do not care for it.
Can't be that freakin hard to allow the viewing of Kaltura lecture videos posted by professors in an application that is used by many educational institutions across the country. Google and Edge seem to have figured it out so why can't Mozilla?
This issue needs to be fixed!

the option to clear cookies on close is off, i have no clue why it's doing this, i know it's not an extension or a program. ( at least i hope it's not )

I need help in a bad way because I have tried all the directions BigFish has given. I am also 82 years old so I will follow your advice. The login worked for a couple of days but I think Firefox had some updates because computer restarted several times when I wasn't present. When that happens I then find myself having problems with Facebook which is a big nightmare in itself but then I also find I once again am blocked from my game site. Below is what I get each time at the BF game site:
Cookies are required to sign in!
No, we're not talking about chocolate-chip cookies. "Cookies" are little text files sent to your browser to help keep track of users. Your browser is set to not accept cookies, so our system cannot sign you in.
Please follow the instructions below for your browser (starting at the top menu), and then refresh this page:
Internet Explorer: Tools -> Options -> Privacy tab. Reduce the setting to medium. Opera: Tools -> Preferences -> Advanced tab -> Cookies -> Accept cookies. Firefox: Tools -> Options -> Privacy -> Cookies tab -> Allow sites to set cookies. Safari: Safari -> Preferences -> Security -> Accept Cookies: Only from sites you navigate to. Netscape: Edit -> Preferences -> Privacy & Security -> Cookies -> Allow cookies based on privacy settings (or Allow all cookies).
I have tried my best to get Firefox to allow the cookies or eat them or whatever is needed but apparently I am doing something wrong. The BF tech is now advising me to change to another browser but I am unwilling to do that. I am used to Firefox.
Please, is there anyone who can help me, even walk me through so I don't get this same page again and again?
Gail
P.S. I am not above begging either. I am elderly and very close to tears because I retired from a prototype engineering and developmental lab where I worked with robots and all that. I guess they have turned on me.
