Hi, I've been having issues with Firefox for some time now. Every page I got to throws a NS_ERROR_NET_INADEQUATE_SECURITY error. I cannot fix it by setting network.http.spdy.enabled.http2 to false is because Firefox then starts crashing. In the past I've gone around the error by turning http2 off, but recently, first the developer edition, then after today's update to 91.0-0.1 of stable version Firefox crashes if I turn the feature off.

The developer Edition started throwing NS_ERROR_NET_INADEQUATE_SECURITY sometime in spring, then started crashing in June I think. The stable version followed soon as described above.

I am submitting this ticket from a beta version, which for some reason does not have this issue.

I thought it may be the Linux version of Eset, but removing it did not help. I cannot think of any other reason why am I getting those errors, but it seems I am alone because my colleagues don't seem to have this issue neither on macOS, nor Windows.

Just updated Firefox from version 90.0.2 -> 91.0.1 on a Mac running OS 10.15.7.

I'm experiencing 404 errors of which do not occur in the previous version. Here's what the console shows...

Source map error: Error: request failed with status 404 Resource URL: https://MyWebsite.com/assets/vendor/bootstrap/css/bootstrap.min.css Source Map URL: bootstrap.min.css.map

I tried several things to try and isolate this issue, but all to no avail. The file does exist, and loads in the previous version of Firefox.

Any help would be greatly appreciate.

When I access my own development website by domain name (with SSL signed by Digicert), it's fine, I see the lock symbol in FF. When I access it by typing https://[IP address]:443 , I get the "not secure" warning. The IP address has a valid reverse DNS that points to the domain name, which in turn has the valid SSL cert. The domain's A Record also points back to the same IP address. I'm curious why does Firefox do this, and is there anything I can do in my DNS settings to remove the warning for other users -- without changing FF settings? Thanks.

A webpage on our internal company domain ("") errors out with "Error SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG". If I switch to private browsing the same page works. The page also works with all other browsers without issue. If I "reset firefox", the page starts working again - even after firefox sync has re-installed all my add-ons. After some indeterminate amount of time (weeks) the page starts to error out again. This problem occurs on Firefox 75 on Ubuntu 18.04 as of now.

I'm at a total loss as to how to even begin to debug this - any pointers on where to start looking? As I mentioned the webpage that errors out the only page on an intranet so I cannot share the URL.

I have recently upgraded to windows 11. After this upgrade, I am facing connection issue in the firefox. Generally, I keep open my Office Gmail Account till my office hours around 8 hrs daily. After the opening the mail it runs as usual, but after ten to fifteen minutes it shows connection error. It continues showing the same error for the whole day. While I tried this things with the other websites, it shows same error for other websites also. The same thing I have tried in Google Chrome browser, there is no such kind of errors or difficulties are found. Kindly guide me further or please update the same.

I access one TLS URL that's secured by user certificate. I had no problem importing the .p12 certificate into my profile's user certificate store ("Your Certificates"), and I could access the URL.

On the TLS URL system, for an unrelated reason, I had to generate a new certificate. My task was to remove the user certificate from my profile's certificate store, and replace with the new certificate.

The replacement was perfect: Delete the old certificate, import the new certificate. Enter the cert password, and see the new certificate, with its new serial ID listed in Firefox's certificate store.

When I try to visit the TLS secured URL, Firefox gives "Secure Connection Failed" and "SEC_ERROR_BAD_SIGNATURE". It says "Peer has an invalid signature."

I'm at a loss how to proceed troubleshooting this.

Today is the day I cannot use Firefox anymore. It keeps on blocking webservers in my local network because of a self-signed certificate.

It is a shame, I have been a loyal Firefox user since Netscape. Today marks the beginning of the end of this journey. A pitty.

So, Chrome it is from now on.

Dear Mozilla Community,

I have problems with one website. This website is poczta.wp.pl. Sometimes this can't be loaded. I see this error:

"SSL_ERROR_INTERNAL_ERROR_ALERT".

This is website with https protocol. What is the reason? Other websites works fine. I think that this is not problem with my router or internet provider because I changed both and it is still problem there. I had this problem also on another computer with Windows 10 operating system. I contacted with administrator of this website and they think that all is okay so they suggested me that this can be problem with browser or my computer.

This behavior is very hard to test because this issue is showed very rare. Sometime one time in one week and sometimes two time in one day. I don't know what is going on with this.

Can you help?

I'm getting "Error code: SEC_ERROR_CA_CERT_INVALID" on every page. (Full details in screenshot)

I've tried accessing google and reddit, which I had been browsing no problem, but no luck. I can't even access Mozilla help. And I haven't been able to bypass anything.

I've been googling this (on Chrome! yuck!), with no luck. If I stumbled upon the answer, I wasn't tech savvy enough to recognize or implement it.

Could someone give me a hand?

I will give one example of many. In the past, I must have accidentally typed https://mail.wizathon.com. The correct URL is http://mail.wizathon.com. Now when I try to get to the http version, Firefox automatically switches it to https, which fails. To fix this, I have always gone to Options -> Privacy -> Clear Site Settings and poof, the http version would work. I have tried this, I have tried "forgetting the site", I have looked in my profile and the site isn't listed there, I have tried Refreshing my Firefox, I have gone into my about: config and updated the htsc to false. I am out of options. Something happened in the last 2 weeks to cause this unwanted behavior.

Hello, whenever I change the date on my PC ( which I do several times per week for experiments), all my addons get disabled, as the browser decides they are unsigned (as visible in the screenshot)

And there is no way to re-enable them - I have to search for them again, go to the download site, and download them again. Yet the browser knows perfectly well that the date is wrong - so it should not be very hard to stop him from disabling addons during a period of wrong date.

Furthermore - there should be an option to re-check the validity of (all) addons which were disabled with 1 click, without having to re-download them.
