As of this morning, I cannot get Firefox to work. I am using Windows 7. I click to start firefox and it looks like the program starts. It opens a Window with the minimize, maximize, and close buttons but the window contents are blank and the load icon appears. I can minimize and maximize the window but I cannot end the program. If I use CTRL-ALT-DEL, I can see that firefox.exe is running but I cannot end the task by selecting End Process. If I try to start another instance of Firefox, I get a warning box saying "Firefox is already running, but is not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed to open a new window."
Nothing I try will end the process.
I uninstalled and re-installed Firefox but the problem persists. I tried doing a fresh install with all previous add-ons and whatnot ignored but it still won't run. I've tried running it with the anti-virus disabled as well as with Windows in Safe Mode but it won't work.
Any ideas?

I've had a really odd issue with Firefox that has happened on my Windows 7 Ultimate machine. I can run the exe but it just sits there running in the background but never loads. I can see it in Process Explorer and can attempt to kill it with Process Explorer but it refuses to fully close. When killed it sits as a process that has no stacks visible for it. You can see one loan thread running that appears to be keeping it going without being able to close it.
I've uninstalled it several times and reinstalled but no joy, it continues to behave the same.
Screenshots are of Firefox in its dead process state. Where it appears to still be running yet isn't. Other shots are of it running but not usable. And an odd unsigned .dll is running.

Problem started yesterday afternoon when trying to upload photos to Walgreens.com for printing. Kept getting message "Firefox has stopped working. A problem is preventing the program from working correctly. Windows will close the program...." Tried uploading using Chrome & no problems at all. Problem continued today -- also getting the same error message in firefox options/add-ons/security, etc. Have restarted computer, refreshed firefox, ran in safe mode -- same thing happens. Bitdefender security is up-to-date Checked Mozilla Crash Reporter -- NOTHING shows for yesterday or today.
Bitdefender does show this info at approx. same timeframe as some of the crashes (although it only shows 3 instances & firefox crashed many more times than that) -- Potentially malicious application blocked 2 hours ago

Hello!
I use FF 65.0 / 64 bit Windows 10 Pro N / 1809 / Built 17763.292 Nvidia driver 418.81
In this version of windows, but also in the last one, FF causes Windows blue screens (KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED). It happens after some time working with the browser, especially when many tabs are open and videos are played. But not always - I cannot reproduce it. I just know it always happens when I browse in FF.
I have uploaded the corresponding MiniDump file on my cloud storage: https://box.medunigraz.at/s/ccJj8qbC9mESAjL
I also include my DxDiag file, so you can see what I have installed.
Thanks for any help, best wishes, Herwig

File upload causes Firefox to be unresponsive and must close browser to continue. Tried all the fixes. Other browsers fine. Several computers.
Please if you have any suggestions, I'll try them. I thought a new clean computer might solve the problem, but no luck there either.

I have a Windows 10 Pro X64 Lenovo which is domain joined. The user frequently uses Firefox as their browser. When they do, they can get frequent and repeating Blue Screens. When I look at the memory dump files, I see that the faulting application is Firefox. Can somebody assist me with this file and offer some insight into how I can circumvent further disasters?
I do have the memory.dmp file. Can I share it?

After a power failure in my area while I was online, my Firefox is now giving me "Network protocol error", half loading pages, seldom loading images, slow streaming on YouTube, and "problem loading page"(s).
I am advised by Firefox to inform the website owners but this is surely a Firefox browser problem, not a problem with Google or Facebook or YouTube or any website.
I am on Linux Mint 17. something on a 64bit system.
How does this get fixed?

So a while ago I accidentally put my PC into hibernate mode, after waking it back up the PC proceeded to crash. (This has been a problem with my PC since I got it. Still don't know why it can't go into hibernate mode without it crashing but this is not the issue right now.)
Anyway after the crash, I log back in and everything for the most part is fine, except Firefox. I had firefox open when it crashed, so I expected it to be effected, but for some reason a lot of my add-on data just disappeared. For instance, a lot of tabs opened up as if I got the add-on for the first time, which can't be right. Stylish lost its webpage edits, Reddit Enhancement Suite's setting information got reset, the theme I was using wasn't active and I had to turn it back on, and the toolbar(not sure what you call it) had reset back to the default appearance with the flexible space and what not. I want to get back the firefox information before the crash. I would think firefox sync would fix this but it didn't. I'm very confused on why this happened.
