Hi I am currently creating a Firefox plugin and I am trying to grab the data from the secure website certification to use and display to the user is this possible?

I'm on Firefox Developer Edition 90.0b12 on Windows 10. There is no option to sync addresses in the sync settings, while the option is there for Firefox Beta 90.0b12.

Basically, what it says in the title. Not so long time ago I started noticing that Firefox starts randomly "freezing" when switching between tabs (most often) and clicking on links within webpages. I put "freezing" in quotation marks, because it's not really frozen - I can click on the tab and interface would respond, but showing new tab wouldn't happen. Few things to consider: 1) Bug present in both latest stable and beta versions 2) Bug still present in completely clean installation of Firefox, without any add-ons and not signed-in in the account 3) I use v2ray and Qv2ray to bypass internet restrictions of a country where I am currently at. It seems that "freezing" has to do with poor internet connection. Has anyone encountered similar problems?

In the Inspector panel in Developer Tools, HTML elements with a long list of selectors don't show all the selectors. They get reduced with a `...`. The only way I've found to show the full list of selectors is to double-click it (which puts it into "Edit as HTML" mode).

As a web developer, I find this is adding unnecessary complication and inconvenience. When picking selectors from the page, as I build out custom CSS, I don't want to have to put some HTML elements into "Edit as HTML" just to see what the full list of classes is, for example.

It most commonly occurs on the `body` elements on Wordpress sites (which tends to have a long list of `class` selectors for this element).

Is there a way to turn this feature off?

I'm using Firefox developer edition 90.0b12

As seen in the attached picture, the bookmark menu lines are too narrow.

If I recall correctly, a couple years ago I customized it, but now I can't find any userChrome.css file anywhere.

How can I find why is it being displayed like that? or how can I restore its default display?

Before FF starts it hangs and scans my font folder (all 600meg!) before it will do anything else, like connect to a website. This happens even if I simply restart the application after it's been running. And, its particularly worse after an update. Why can't it keep a list of available fonts that it can refer to rather than scan all over again? This can cause delays that run up to a minute and a half, as long as three and a little more.

I was going to rename the windows/Fonts folder to see what happens but being a system folder I can't.

I have two versions of Firefox installed on my work PC, the regular one for my everyday browsing and the Developer's Edition for my work with the regular one being my default browser. For some reason, through no effort on my part, I ended up on the beta channel for the regular browser.

That was OK until the latest beta (version 90) started showing an extremely annoying bug. On a daily basis, on average, it will stop loading pages for no reason. For that reason, I'd like to get off of the beta channel and get back to using the release version. Would uninstalling the beta version and installing the release version do that for me? Or will I somehow end up back on the beta channel and get upgraded to the beta version again? (If I do have to uninstall the beta and install the release, I want to keep all of the settings, bookmarks, plugins, etc. that I have in that browser. I have the Dev Edition browser set up to never sync, so it has a different set of settings, etc., which I don't want carried over to the other browser.)

Since back in 2004, some releases perform as the following: Open a TAB. See a link you would like tp open as a new Tab.

EITHER CAN HAPPEN: 1. It put that link as a "NEW TAB" AND the Cursor STAYS WHERE IT IS. Allowing you to select more links to create MORE NEW TABS, etc.

2. It put that link as a "NEW TAB AND MOVES THE cursor TO THE NEW TAB JUST CREATED and you are no longer on the original TAB and can not create/move more links to new tabs.

90% of the time I prefer to STAY so I can create multiple LINKS as NEW TABS, THEN go to the new tabs for viewing.

is that an OPTION or a "NEW FEATURE"?

Hello i have a problem with view video on my website. Other browsers like chrome, opera, edge works fine, the problem only exists on Firefox. I've tried many things like turning off extensions and site protections, turning off "Use hardware acceleration when available" option, i even allowed autoplay videos and sounds on every site, and problem still isn't solved. 1. The First Image is of the URL bar. If you look closely, some of the parts are chipped.
2. The Second Image is of a Button. It's chipped in all sides.
3. The Third Image is a string of dots and hyphens that I've selected with my cursor. It's weirdly torn in the middle.

The Issue is on both Firefox Developer Edition and the normal Firefox. Both are the latest versions. Both are installed on my OS.

I'm on Parrot OS 4.11. I've tried changing the window compositor which is Metacity(Marco) but that doesn't solve the issue. Kernel is 5.10.0-6parrot1-amd64. I'm running on integrated graphics. No third-party graphics driver.

I have Ubuntu installed too and the problem isn't there in Ubuntu. So It's in Parrot. I heavily use Firefox for Web Surfing and Development.

All of them are fresh installs from the official website.

I am running MAC Version Catalina 10.15.7, on Firefox version 90.0, and after installing the update today, every single "like" icon on the Facebook no longer appears. the placeholder is still there, as you hover over the area, you can still click on the area, but the icons no longer appear. This happened in 89.0.2, but only some of the images for the like icons would disappear, not every single one of them.

On my new PC with a fresh and fully up to date installation of Windows 10, Firefox tabs keep crashing for no reason.

Ticking all the boxes they give me in the crashed tab and hitting reload/refresh tab is unlikely to actually fix the tab. I have to hit that button at least 5 times to maybe get the tab working again and even then it's basically a coin-toss whether it actually gets fixed or not.

I have 7 firefox.exe.(number).dmp files with no way to upload them here but if there is an way to do that please let me know so I can provide additional data.

Please help me with this ASAP, I'd rather continue to use Firefox on my new machine than go back to Chrome. Thank you.

Just got the latest firefox update, now i can't play zynga poker. https://apps.facebook.com/texas_holdem/ before update, i can play it, but after 1 day it slows down, have to close and restart firefox. it happened also in Developer edition. It never happened on chrome.

Is it possible to remove / hide individual elements inside the Library popup's #placesList (i.e. the Tag item and/or the icons of any of the items)?

My attempt with the code below inside userchrome removed ALL of the side panel content - not ideal.

Also, is it actually possible for the Browser Toolbox to work inside popups?

I cant access specific greek websites like culture.gr, mfa.gr, idika.gr, eprocurement.gov.gr Chrome and Edge have no problem accessing them. Firefox version is 91 (win10) Thanks for your help.

Hi,

Im using Firefox Developer Edition and every time I make a change in website's source code (not by "inspect element") I have to restart Firefox to see any change that I made. Other browsers show those changes so it's not server's fault.

Since firefox updated this morning, I'm no longer able to log in to some sites using forms once auto fill is active.

I've created a new blank profile to test, and it's the same behaviour.

1. start blank profile 2. visit https://bandcamp.com/login 3. enter a username and password (doesn't matter that it's not real) and hit Submit 4. tell Firefox to remember password. 5. clear the form and reload the login page. 6. try to allow firefox to auto fill the fields

There's a really weird mix of things that go on

- sometimes one of the fields is populated, more often they both go yellow, but blank. - double clicking in a field seems to momentarily reveal contents, but then it goes blank again. - typing in an apparently blank but yellow field seems to suddenly append characters to the auto-filled value.

Firefox crashes at startup even in safe mode. I think there was firefox update after first crash and it did not start after that. Developers version works fine.
