Hi,
I have an odd problem with a friend's Firefox and Thunderbird on Windows. The font changed to white in the address bar, the tab titles, some content on websites, some elements of the settings etc.
From what I can see there is no difference to my settings under "Language and Appearance". When I create a new profile either with the profile manager in Firefox or by renaming "%appdata"\Mozilla Firefox", nothing changes. So I can rule out a custom userchrome.css or similar in the profile folder. When I switch to "troubleshoot mode" with the old or the new profile, everything looks fine.
It also affects Thunderbird, but no other programms.
I can't figure out, where the problem lies.

I have appreciated Firefox for many years, so long in fact that I no longer have access to the email address that I signed up with. I have had no reason to access my account so I did not realise that it was out of date. I was accessing my account to check that I had two-factor protection and since I could not access the account I decided to create a new account and used the help pages to move my profile to the new account. I was able move my profile and access all my bookmarks and PASSWORDS! I simply uninstalled Firefox, moved my profile to another location, downloaded Firefox and copied the old profile over the newly created profile. I opened Firefox and could open the password manager and see all my passwords. I could not believe how easily I could access all the sensitive information. I needed no password - just access to the profile. This profile will be saved on any computer that I have used to log into Firefox. Anyone with access to those computers could easily repeat what I was able to do. This is a serious secuirty flaw and I simply can't believe I was able to do this!!!!!
when I log in - at entering the password, many passwords pop up- how can I delete those unwanted passwords?

My blog has started displaying the message, "Firefox can't open this page". The message also says, "To protect your security, accounts.google.com will not allow Firefox to display the page if another site has embedded it. To see this page, you need to open it in a new window." But opening it in a new window didn't work. I tried clearing the cache, and pasting the link into a new open tab, but neither helps. I tried opening it in Safari, and that works fine, so this seems to be a Firefox problem. Any suggestion?

Dear Mozilla Firefox Support Team, I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to seek assistance regarding an issue we have been facing with Firefox. After some days of usage, Firefox prompts us to create a new profile, and the browser does not function as expected unless we do so. Here are the details: • We have installed the latest version of Mozilla Firefox several times (2-3 times). • We have also created new profiles, but the issue persists. • Despite these efforts, the error to create a new profile continues to reoccur. Could you kindly assist us in resolving this issue? Any guidance or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated.

I have been using Firefox for years. Currently using 131.0.2 on Windows 10 Pro. Never had a problem with Bitwarden auto filling useernames and passwords to login to a website. Now I have to copy and paste each one. I appreciate using Firefox but this new incompatibility with Bitwarden is a deal breaker. I've tried going thru the menus and help forums and have found nothing to allow Bitwarden to auto fill passwords. I'll move everything over to Microsoft Edge where Bitwarden auto fills the same way Firefox has done until recently.

I want to disable 2fa. I FINALLY was able to find authentication codes (10 digit) and am able to sign in to support. I simply want to sign in and sync (after upgrading OS and reinstalling Firefox). I kept running in to issues signing in because it wanted a six digit authorization from a auth app which I did not have set up

I know that typically mozilla does not put a low bound on advisories, and https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/security/advisories/mfsa2024-40/ is the advisory for vulnerabilities fixed in ESR 128.2. CVE-2024-8387 is listed here. yet the advisory for 115, https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/security/advisories/mfsa2024-41/ does not list this vulnerability. Was this something that was only impacting 128 (for the ESR builds) or is there a mistake that either 115.15 did patch it but it wasn't documented, or the patch has been missed and ESR 115 is still vulnerable?
I don't know which ad blocker I have. I can't watch the Olympics without disabling the ad blocker. Could you help, please?

Hello, Sorry to disturb but its been two days and I am unable to access my Google accounts (work and private) through Firefox in anyway. I have done all the basic fixes I can think of but with no success. I have deleted caches, checked plug ins, rebooted Firefox went through the trouble shooting mode, followed advice in the community forum, tried logging in from Google linked accounts. Spoke to our internal IT support at work but nothing has solved the issue as yet, spoke to Google support.
My assumption is that it has to be the browser as I am able to log into google with another browser but Firefox is my preferred browser and would like to use it again as such.
Please advise.
Thank you Cait

I've never had this problem before, even though I've been using Firefox for 4 years. As soon as I try to connect to an account via Google, or go to Docs/Drive/Classroom, I'm always taken to a “Clear cache and delete cookies” page. So I followed the instructions on the page, deleted all my data and saved cookies from Firefox and even tried to reinstall Firefox completely, but nothing changed, I'm always redirected to this page.
Someone can help me please? I can provide more informations if needed.
I need to talk to someone. If you can't do that I'm just switching browsers. Don't want to but I can't figure it out. [telephone number]

A few days ago I got a popup notice of a Firefox update. I clicked to download the update and away it went. However, since that update was installed, Firefox crashes several times a day. I click on the 'Tell Mozilla' button and restart my session, but then it happens again. Am I the only one who is seeing this?
