I have selected the 4 rows for shortcuts on my tab and have installed all but the last 3 spaces in the end of the 4th row. There's no option whatsoever to continue to add those remaining 3 spaces. Any suggestions?

TyDraniu, Thanks for your reply, but I should have clarified that I meant will Firefox on an Amazon Fire Tablet get a vpn? I read that Mozilla no longer supports Fire tablets. Thank you

Hello,

I have dark reader installed, it makes every website dark mode quite efficiently.

However, it cannot make *.mozilla.org dark because those are restricted pages that addons cannot modify.

Even though I have enabled "restricted pages" in dark mode, it does not work.

So whenever I click on new tabs, it always leads to a redirect notice asking me to confirm if I want to open those tabs.

I want it so that I don't get these notices, but the links I click on just open automatically. I have tried the following settings in about:config based on a few threads online:

accessibility.blockautorefresh

network.http.redirection-limit

A few other settings to that I have turned on and off but no difference.

A lot of the websites are also confusing because they seem to want to turn redirects ON rather than off, so potentially I am struggling to follow the correct information.

Any help appreciated.

Firefox has been automatically updated on Windows 11 and Tahoe, and now every time I close the browser, all tabs close – even the pinned ones – despite the ‘Open previous windows and tabs’ option being selected at startup.

I really can't add to my Summary other than it's a fairly recent issue, started in May 2026, possible April. About.config is set to False. I hope some has a solution - it happens when I'm dealing with live incidents.

Today following a brief power outage I was no longer able to sign in to AOL with Firefox on my desktop computer. I am able to sign in to all other apps with no problem. I tried clearing my cache, restarted Firefox, restarted my computer and spent 30 minutes on remote desktop access assistance with AOL trying to fix the problem with no success. I can log in to my account using Chrome on the desktop computer and can log in with no problem using my Android phone but can't log in using my desktop computer with Firefox. I've verified that my Firefox version is updated. I am running Windows 11 Pro.

I would greatly appreciate any helpful advice.

How can I log in to my firefox account to sync on my new PC if I can't verify the email address associated with my account? I no longer have access to that email because my employer phased it out.

Being a weird person, I always saved my sites on my firefox browser and for my own reasons, hadn't bookmarked them and always kept them open on tabs to pick up and read at a later date, and as a result, racked up a lot of different tabs that were all very dear to me. However due to a catastrophic hardware failure a few hours ago I lost everything on my local files, including my backups of all the firefox tabs. I was hoping that if there was a remote possiblility that if the sync was able to record tabs, that it would also save all tab information from previous browser sessions.
