‘New update for Firefox removed my bookmark menu from side bar. When I open FIrefox, my bookmarks are gone, but a one inch vertical, useless space appears. Please help.’ for ‘Firefox’

Firefox no longer allows me to bookmark web sites that I want for place in my bookmark folders. I have encountered several situation when trying to bookmark a web site:

1- When I get to a site that I want to bookmark, I go to "Bookmarks", select and click on "Bookmark Current Tab" and nothing happens. On prior versions of Firefox, another panel would be presented where I would have the option to file the current tab to an existing Firefox folder or create an new folder.

Now I do not have that option available to me. These problems seems to to have started with the upgrade to 134.0.2

2- When I go to "Bookmarks" and select "Manage Bookmarks" I am able to see a listing of of the bookmarks but the list is not complete. I have preciously established and used the bookmark labeled as "Woodworking" which is no longer present, in fact the the last alphabetical listed bookmark is "Ryobi".

I did have and was able to use the bookmark "Woodworking" in the past. Why is everything beyond "Ryobi missing?

3 - Some times when I go to use bookmarks it does show provide me with the panel that would allow me to bookmark the current tab but it will not allow me to create a new folder where I want to place the current tab..

4 -I have tried to go to an older version of Firefox but have been unable to locate where I can obtain it. Would going back to an older version resolve my issues and if so where can I get an older version?

I have been using Firefox for many years and never had issues and have been very happy with it. Anything guidance you can provide to resolve these bookmark issues would be greatly appreciated.

Is this why my FF is running godawful slow today?

Pages coming up in 20 to 60 seconds or more instead of in a second or two.

Maybe after update, or i dont know why, but now. when youtube (or any other videoplayer) in fullscreen - taskbar menu is visible (Is on topscreen). In google chrome problem is not repeats. I'm using StartAllBack app for classic start menu, but till that day all was fine. I checked on two devices with firefox - the same problem (StartAllBack or windows version wasnt cahnged). Windows 11 24H2

I am starting to use the new utility which allows me to group tabs. But I would like to see only the name of the group and not the whole list. How can I collapse the list of tabs which belong to a group leaving only the group name shown. Then with a click I should be able to see the corresponding list of tabs if I need it. When I open Firefox on my computer, I get a blank page for my home page. I have attempted to change my home page using the drop-down choices, except for blank page choice. No luck! Help.

In the top right corner of tab bar, a message of Finish Setup. In the pop up window all area's are check off green. I don't know what it wants and to locate page to Finish Setup

Since your last upgrade, I have been able to get into any sites using CloudFlare security. Prior to that I had no problems at all. I have tried closing extensions and or clearing cookies. I especially want access to my banking account. How can I disable whatever was added to effect CloudFlare? CloudFlare either continues to cycle, or gives an error message.

I've just updated Firefox to 136.0 and found the "return closed tab" key became blank and ineffective. I read the update log but didn't find infomation about this change. The function was useful to me and I hope to get it back.

This seems like a phishing email, is it legit? Should I find another browser?

I received an email with the heading Mozilla Monitor listing my monthly Monitor report. Said I had 7 data breaches and asking me to click to resolve or click to view details. Is this a scam? Send answer to k.krukowski@comcast.net
