What the title says. At some point Firefox wanted to update to a newer version, it asked me if I wanted to refresh it, I said yes, nothing much happened besides I got a brand new folder I can't remove from my desktop. It asks for admin rights, I have admin rights, it's a local account, I am the only user, I tried the command prompt solution and it didn't help. Is there any solution to this at all that doesn't involve me getting into the bios?

Hello It is impossible to display the icons of certain applications since I used Firefox. This problem does not exist with Chromium browsers (Chrome Brave...) Thank you for your help

I've blocked access to nearby devices without knowing that this would affect my local network websites. Now the option to change this on the settings simply does not appear for me. What can I do?

i downloaded firefox update 145 and it removed the minimize window, maximize window, and close window funtions at the top right of the screen. is there a way to restore them permanently?

Speech output for Albanian on the website "loecsen.com" > language course "Albanian". Words cannot be heard under Windows 11. What can I do? I downloaded the Albanian language pack, but the voice isn't there. Is this a Firefox or Windows problem?

144.0.2 firefox version has an issue with bookmarks keep, they keep dissapearing & i have to use firefox fix from uninstall option to restore. unable to use email links as it requests that i close firefox window before it can open links, when i do this all bookmarks are gone & i then have to start again. I'm running win11 25h2 with all updates done both chrome & edge are not causing issues

A bit over a month ago, I was away from home for several weeks. When I came back, a browser that worked perfectly before became near unusable with constant and random crashes. Sometimes they occur even with no user input. I have tried troubleshooting mode, I have removed all extensions, I have tried all the fixes I found on Google, I have reinstalled the browser, I have updated all the drivers, I have done MemTest86 which was passed with flying colours and I have even installed a firefox fork (waterfox) to try and fix this all to no avail. I have no clue where to go from here, as it feels very bizarre. All help is much appreciated.

Hello, I reinstalled Firefox and am unable to recover my bookmarks and other data. Before the re-installation, I manually backed up my data, but when I try to restore from the backup, it does not work. All my bookmarks and previous data are still missing. How can I fix this and recover my information?

I'm running Firefox 144.0.2 (64-bit) on a Mac using Sequoia 15.4.1 OS.

At the most recent Firefox update, I added VPN.

Since then, I've had a problem with Firefox hanging. Not immediately but after varying amounts of time, 20-60 minutes. I get an "Out of Application Memory" pop-up but the usage for both Firefox and other elements are well within normal range, not high. It's completely frozen and the only way out is to do a Force Quit.

There are times when doing a shut down I notice that VPN has somehow been turned Off and once I saw a message of Background Service Error attached to it.

Having to constantly re-start Firefox is a major pain. Oh-- I did turn off the background AI thing under Tabs. I hate AI and try to turn it off everywhere I find it. A resource suck and bad for the planet.

Any help appreciated.

When doing a search I receive a message " Secure Connection Failed

How do I fix this issue?

Websites like Medicare.gov give message like "We can't process your request at this time." This happens with increasing frequency on pages I know are valid and secure. MS Edge opens them with no problem.

Another example - my bank web site. Firefox triggers a whole series of confirmation tests from them but Edge gets in with just ID and password.

I am using a VPN from Malwarebytes. Windows 11 is the OS. Latest version of Firefox is installed (144.0.2 (64-bit))

I have been a long time Firefox user, but am starting to drift away to Edge because it connects to more web sites with less hassle.

What are my options?
