Before I reached out to you I contacted https://MyCobra.tpa.com administrators and tech support, to describe the problem. My login credential, my account, etc. are all in order. When attempting to submit the login credential to access my account I get over the submit button a red circle with a red diagonal line across the circle that inhibits pressing the submit button. The first time I attempted this on a different laptop I was asked by their tech support to not attempt to press the button but instead to hit the enter key on my keyboard. It worked! I got in! However, when I tried it again at a later time I could not get in. So, I decided to try a different browser; Edge repeatedly worked by hitting the enter keyboard key. This clearly suggests an issue with Firefox an this web portal.

I am running security add on features on Firefox. I turned them all off and run the browser in troubleshooting mode. No Joy! The problem persists. That's where you come in. I would rather not migrate to Edge, I do not like living on the edge so to speak. I am attaching a screenshot of the problem. I hope that you can help me find a solution. I look forward to your reply. Thank you.

Hello, Mozilla has been getting very slow, am using regularly Brave browser now, as from click is 4 seconds to use, yet now Mozilla 96.0 is 25 seconds to start. Both have Ghostery installed & Adblock Plus so don't use that crap predictable excuse, I will not disable these. Both have full clean out of temp files & cache whenever closed down. I will never sign in as big momma tracks all searches. Always use anonymous as never eve sign in except for sites required. Never ever sign in using any browser unless checking email, then flush out after. Also Themes now is dark, though dark google them show dark / light as default. Getting used to Brave as chromium based without holes, some things I still use Mozilla but slowness is real issue

Received a pop-up saying Firefox not working. Tried to refresh but icon wouldn't go to home screen. It placed a folder on my desktop "Old Firefox Data". Restarted computer but still couldn't get in. Tried to do Sync, but asked me to sign in and when I clicked on that it tried to run my email but didn't show the "m" in ".com" [....@gmail.co ]. After several attempts I had to download Firefox again. It shows some of my icons on the default page, but not others.

How do I get back to the home page I had previously constructed?

A website I use to move money - getting message telling me cookies is blocking 3rd party cookies. and I need to enable 3rd party cookies. I go to settings in firefox and for the information to set settings to enable cookies 3rd party they do not work. They tell me to check and uncheck boxes that I do not even have for setttings. I never had this problem before until Jan. of 2022. I have to use a different browser to get to the website and complete my task. There is something in the Firefox browser or they made changes/updates. Need step by step instructions. NEED TO TALK TO SOMEONE.

I didn't ask for this change, and I don't want it. Black on white is hard on my eyes to read.

I've already checked around the forums and nothing that other posters have suggested works to change it back. Yes, I use a custom theme and I'm not going to change it to "white". I didn't make any changes , firefox did.

As many here have said, the latest Firefox update has reversed many web pages and menus from white-with-black text to black-with-white text. I can't believe that Mozilla really meant to do this. This is very annoying. It would be one thing to offer it as an option, but to just jam it to us without warning is plain obnoxious. I did do the about:config color-scheme override but that only fixed my Firefox search page. Everything else is still black. Thanks a lot.

Fx89Padlock-Triangle: A padlock with a triangle indicates that Firefox is not blocking insecure passive content, such as images. By default, Firefox does not block mixed passive content; you will simply see a warning that the page isn't fully secure. Attackers may be able to manipulate parts of the page like displaying misleading or inappropriate content, but they should not be able to steal your personal data from the site.

I hate surprises like these! So far i trusted FF that after an update my layout would still be intact as was, but no they forced this black sh.. onto me as a background for the home page - and no alternative anywhere to switch this back to white or any other options. Do i want to install a plugin for this simple basic option - hell no, i'd rather get rid of FF as my default browser if you think you can play dictators too now. What i miserable attitude you people have. If you change for life )white) to dead (black) you might as well declare you are on your way out as a browser - or offer the option to change that bg color real quick

For years I've had the same problem of basic resets on my custom settings everytime Firefox updates. I've read hundreds of posts, complaints and suggestions.

The best suggestions I've found are to use both userContent.css and changes to the about:config file. I have actually created a .txt file of unique about:config lines and settings so I can copy, paste, and set to my settings without having to look everything back up again. It still takes me 10 minutes, but at least it gets done my way.

A solution I think all of us would love to see are simple instructions on how to back up the current about:config settings and reinstate them AFTER an update so our choices stay as we want them. This shouldn't be too difficult. Export settings are available for all kinds of parts of Firefox, Thunderbird and add-ons. How about making that a priority in the next update?

Hi,

I downloaded the new Firefox browser a couple of days ago and now I have lost all my bookmarks.

Does Firefox have a recent backup that I can import?

I clicked on 'Bookmarks', then 'Manage Bookmarks', select restore, but the bookmarks are from months ago.

Where are my current bookmarks?

Also, where is the bookmarks icon which was in the top right-hand corner, how do I access the bookmarks in this new version?

Kind regards,

Maria

Since install of release 96.0.1, all drm streaming on pc has failed. Running windows 10 pro. Have cleared cache, restarted pc and router, refreshed and then reinstalled firefox. no luck. then i reverted to release 95.0.2 and everthing worked fine. but then, despite the fact that i disabled auto updates, release 96.0.1 was reapplied and streaming was broke again. cannot use amazon prime or comcast streaming services. youtube works intermitently. why was current release reapplied regardless of auto update setting and why is streaming not working? streaming works on chrome but not firefox. i have been using firefox for as long as it has been around. must i now be forced to use chrome instead?

Not sure when it happened, but some of the information for an installed add-on is missing. There is no author link or a homepage link. When I search the mozilla add-ons website I can't find the add-on anymore.

This is the add-on name and version:

Downloader for Instagram™ 1.0.4 June 3, 2020

I don't know why the Mozilla add-ons website doesn't detect what add-ons the user has installed when you search. That would be very helpful and why it isn't a default feature is dumb.

You have users sign in to the add-on account, why not include that feature to make things easier.

I'm guessing the solution is remove the add-on and hope another one can do what I installed the other add-on for.

I noticed the icon for this add-on appears in the overflow area of the toolbar. When I click on the icon it opens a link to a page that no longer exists when I search Google and the wayback machine archive site.

Firefox should find out if this happens and notify users that an add-on is defunct.

Anyway, here's the website associated with the add-on.
