Hi. Since FF v103 it seems, when working with a VPN, and then trying to use also a browser extension VPN, it either does not or does not connect until after 45s. Before it was immediate. It works in all other browsers (incl FF before v103). So this is a recent change in FF that harms normal VPN connections. I found out by trial and error, that changing the port of the VPN extension to 443 and disabling and enabling the extension and going back to v103 from v103.0.1 helped, but that should not be like that. So something has been broken in the latest v103.0.1 - please kindly look into it. Thank you!

Hello, I would like to know how to remove 'other bookmarks' folder from the right side of bookmark toolbar that showed up suddenly on my browser, it's right after the arrows to show more bookmarks. I can't seem to find a way to delete this.

I just updated from Firefox 96.0.3 to Firefox 97. When I try to print I get the Firefox preview, even though I have print.tab_modal.enabled set to false. Please fix it so that I can get the print system dialog without going via the Firefox preview. Note that I have now reverted to Firefox 96.0.3 and won't update from this unless the problem is fixed.

so firefox I am logged out, you can tell where it say "save and sync - sign in". but even though I am not signed in, my passwords and addons are still showing up.

Hi, I completely uninstalled the firefox and re installed the latest version. The problem is that I have lost all the passwords and email addresses. how do i retrieve this information Some experts suggested to use recuva. I have tried . But how do I use recuva to retrieve the password. Please explain in detall. If it is saved in pc, please give me instructions how to retrieve. Could I opt for system restore to have the previous firefox with all the passwords. how do I select the profile in roaming folder, appdata roaming folder to copy the same to my newly installed firefox. Please give the real solution for this urgently ,as i have to login to finish web work

When I click on an article or any link in Outlook, I get an error message that says, Your organization's policies are preventing us from completing this action for you. For more info, please contact your help desk. I'm not an 'organization', just a user and obviously there's no help desk to contact, so I thought I'd reach out to see if someone might have a solution to this problem. I have already made sure that my default programs are set to Firefox for my browser and Outlook for my email and made sure all the defaults are selected. I have also run a full windows scan program which came up without any errors and I have run a registry scan that fixed every identified error. I'm still getting the same error message and the only way for me to open up an article or a link from an email is to 'copy hyperlink', open up a new tab in Firefox and select Paste and Go, which is driving me nuts and wasting a ton of time. I don't know what else to do at this point. I did find a document on the internet that has what it says is a method to resolve this exact error message problem, but the instructions are specific to Internet Explorer, not Firefox. I'm hesitant to find those same tools on Firefox (which is quite possible, though some of them are in different places on Firefox than they are on Internet Explorer). My concern comes with the fact that the final step will 'reset' every setting to it's default condition, so it seemed like a good idea to try to get some expert help before I perform such a drastic action. Also, I'm also making the assumption that if I did do a complete reset, I would be able to restore Firefox back via my most recent System Restore and it would bring back all my customizations, browers add-ons, personal settings, home pages history, cookies, privacy settings, etc. - but I'd like someone to weigh in on this. Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

Until the most recent update of Firefox, I was able to access atrribute data of a GIS map feature on the GIS Open Data, State of Michigan website:

Now, I can not click on any feature. I can do this, however, using Chrome. What is the issue, here?

If you use Full Screen a lot you'll notice that when your mouse cursor is near the top of the screen it often activates the appearance of the Address and Menu bars and whatever other toolbars you have working. The whole screen suddenly jolts down. Then up as soon as the cursor moves down. I cannot imagine the mindset of the designer that implemented it; must have been someone poor on the keyboard that uses the mouse as much as possible. Alt+D activates the toolbar! We don't need any mouse cursor to display it. Especially as we need to type anyway to use the Address Bar. I searched Add-Ons but couldn't find anything. Any ideas of how to stop the cursor from activating the toolbars? Anything in about:config maybe? Anything I can edit in the files? Please! Let's get some sanity back to Firefox Full Screen.

Various website that contain dynamic content are not being rendered by Firefox to display that content. This is happening with websites that provide transportation information and ticketing, including Amtrak and Peter Pan Bus Lines . It is also happening with a genealogical website, FamilyTreeDNA, on pages that should be displaying family tree information. Illustrations of two pages are attached. I have been able to access the information by using Opera on this same computer and operating system, and by using the same version of Firefox installed on a different computer with different operating system. I am not sufficiently proficient with website development to know or understand what type of dynamic content is being generated by these websites, or how Firefox interprets the content. My suspicion is that some Firefox setting has been enabled or disabled, but I do not know which one it would be.

Hi. Is there a way to customize the order of Firefox headers and footers on printed pages (including print-to-pdf)?

I prefer the header to be url only, in the center. While the footer has page on left; title in the center, and date on the right.

This used to be easy to accomplish with print options in older versions, then -- as the print dialog changed (and actually improved a lot in most *other* ways) I had to turn to about:config modifications like those described in the 1/27/21 reply here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1323433. But now I can't seem to find any way to have any control over print headers besides "on" and "off."

One problem I find with having both page title and url on top is that these can be long, causing one or both to be truncated.

I'm using Firefox 115.3esr.

Every time I go to a website that show location (Home Depot, Indeed) it shows my location as Philadelphia, PA. I am in Holley, NY. That's how it used to show up on Indeed. Why is it doing this now?

Hi, I have spent hours this morning trying to diagnose a problem with Firefox Update 115. It is Unstable and I can't Stream Music from Youtube or even Amazon Music. Web pages from sites I use everyday are out of order when displaying text as well. It's a real mess. Now, here's the kicker, I haven't been able to stream my music from both aforementioned websites, but get this, if I use the Incognito Browser, Music streams No Problem. Seems like you guys broke something in the main FF browser. I have spent hours trying to debug this and have concluded that your most recent Update has broken streaming links. I can't rollback the Update and that is even more frustrating. Please Fix This. BTW, your Help Pages really stink. Sorry, but they offer no help when the problem is clearly FF. I cannot turn on the audio input and the audio output in Discord web application when running Firefox for desktop PC. The advice from Mozilla Support knowledge base regarding how to enable microphone did not help, since there is always no access request from discord.com detected in "Preferences" -> "Privacy & Security" -> "Permissions".

I am using the latest version of Firefox (94.0.1) on Windows 7 SP 1 and Windows 10 20H2. In Discord Support knowledge base the app is claimed to support Firefox version 80+.

Can't select for 'New Folder' in 'Chose' when I bookmark. 'New Folder' is not highlighted. The window says 'Quick Bookmarks is disabled. Is that the problem? How do I enable it?

Dear Sir I went to an organization on 21/03/2022 for assistant on an issue, in processing the matter I need to open my yahoo mail box for the relate documents within my mail. A lady who assistant me use her lap top computer to open my mail box - I enter my pass word, then a window camp up to asked if I want to save my pass word (with dark color) or not,(with gray color) I was in a stage of rush I just click on right top Conner 'x' she took her computer to other room ( in where I can not see ) I was too naive and don't know if all of my mails had been read by them? - It is my privacy. When I got home I was worried and at next day I changed my yahoo mail pass word. As my pass words are saved within Firefox when I want to open a site it is auto fill the pass word. 1: Is my pass word will saved in that lady's computer? 2: Although I have changed my yahoo mail pass word is it safe? Can that lady able to get to Firefox to see my saved pass word and open my email box? - explore all my emails? Please help I am really worried. I look forward to hearing form you soon. Thank you. In older Firefox without WebEx there was addon which allowed to manipulate forms to prepare proper autocompletion data. This addon is not supported with WebEx anymore due to lack of proper functions. Instead Firefox Dev Team claims that mechanism built in current Firefox is enough for such tasks and mentioned addons are not needed. Seems it is wrong thinking.

I tried different approaches to save username for mentioned site but without success.

Until recently, I resisted allowing updates for Firefox because of the announcements of changes to prevent access to some technical kinds of website which I use. These include the public websites of the Paris Observatory which include useul informational ftp pages with important text, data and software files.

  I did recently allow a Firefox update, and now I find that I am cut off from access to these ftp pages. 
  How can I re-enable access to ftp? If it can't be done in the new version of Firefox, how can I return to an older Firefox version that does allow such access?

since today firefox wont load any websites out of troubleshoot mode. not even settings/ about:config. if i open a page in a new tab it just stays blank and nothing is happening.

in troubleshoot mode i turned off hardware acceleration - nothing changed after restart. i updated the runtime file "Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022", which is suggested in different help-posts, i deactivated all addons, i created a new profile and also tried an imported one from eralier today - so far nothing has worked.

i also reinstalled firefox with version 99/ version 101 two times, after i cleared %APPDATA%-data.

im also just using windows defender as antivir.

please elp, i'm out of ideas.
