I installed update 149 and since then, the VPN (NORDVPN) often will not start up and I have to restart the computer. If this cannot be fixed, I would like to go back to the previous version which gave me no trouble. thanks Brian

Using firefox 149 on windows 11 the new split view feature does not seem to work with tree style tabs. I have 3 tabs open, but no split view option. When I unhid the tab toolbar, I did see split view when I right clicked on a tab there.

Greetings, For the past 10 years, when our company would open Firefox in Windows, it would open directly to our company Intranet. This was configured using group policy.

Last week, after our Firefox versions were all updated to version 149, every time firefox opens, it opens to the "Firefox homepage". Nothing on our end was changed.

Clicking the home button does take us to our intranet, but I cannot get firefox to open to our intranet automatically.

I went back to version 148, launched firefox, and Intranet appears.

I then let firefox auto updated to 149, and the intranet does not open automatically.

Please help. Possibly a bug?

A couple of years ago the down-loader was not working very well until I found a Beta version and has worked well for you tube . Now a lot of videos when played back are in another language that sounds like French , not sure. my settings are on English and so are you tubes. It has been happening the most when I download Affinity designer tutorials new and old version of affinity . When I listen to the video I'm downloading on you tube it's English as soon as its done downloading its in another language.

I can't access FSIS website which I need to do so for my job. This is what I get

"Firefox can't connect to the server at usda.gov Try connecting with a different device Check your modem or router Disconnect and reconnect to Wi-Fi"

I can't do any of those things because they make absolutely no sense. Nothing is wrong with my router, Wi-Fi. It's your program.

I don't have VPN option in the toolbar settings, there's no settings featuring VPN, I didn't see VPN setup prompt. I have Split View tho. What do I do? Is built-in VPN not available in my country (I'm Russian)?

I have the same issue as this person https://support.mozilla.org/kn/questions/1373153. I HAVE the "Open previous windows and tabs" option on, i also DON'T have the "Clear history and cookies when closing the window" nor "Clear history when Firefox closes" nor "Always use private browsing mode" on so the solution doesn't work for me. Firefox won't open previous tabs when i close the window. However upon restarting my PC i have noticed that when i start up Firefox, my previous tabs are opened. So it seems the action of closing the window is doing something to prevent Firefox from opening the previous tabs again.

Enhanced Tracking Protection is preventing access to x.com even after it is allegedly "turned off" for this site. I have been using personal computers since the 1970s after the IBM PC was introduced, but now I am about ready to ditch Firefox AND Windows 11 to install a decent version of Linux. Grok on my iPhone 8 offered several suggestions to resolve this issue, but none of them have worked so far... including trying to us Microsoft Edge instead of Firefox.

This AM I attempted to sign into my PayPal Business Acct. I have always done this via password (no biometrics or PassKey for me). Until today, when I was asked for my passkey PIN. I don't have one because I never set it up. I spoke with a woman at PayPal who tried to help me. She said it was probably something that my browser did so I should call FireFox or use a different browser. As for PayPal itself, while it has no record of a paykey, it would allow me to set one up because "this account already has a passkey". I tried a different browser and that ended in the same place. Pass key pin requested. I don't have it. It says that firefox "requested" the passkey. I find that very frustrating because I'm effectively "locked out " of my Paypal business account because of this. I've searched my computer to the best of my ability but I can't find where firefox hid this PIN from. Frankly, I don't see where Firefox gets off volunteering me for a passkey when I didn't ask for it, but not telling me makes no sense whatsoever. I love Firefox and have used it forever. But its memory usage is killing me lately and I'm seriously reconsidering.... PC, Win11, Intel7, 16GB memory. (I'm typing this from Chrome)

I've updated, restarted, but it keeps maxing out and slowing my computer to a crawl. Somebody please tell me there's a fix pending?

I have always used a master password for years and I love it. Ever since the last update came in it will not keep my passwords after I shut my computer down. I have to re enter them every day. How can I fix this?

I've always had my "Open previous windows and tabs" setting on and its never failed for me but today I opened Firefox and it none of my previous windows opened, it just opened to a blank window and I've tried to recover my previous sessions but my "Recently closed windows" tab in history won't open. Not really sure what to do here as I would like to have my previous windows since I didn't bookmark them which I probably should've done

Trying to open any map in the firefox browser and it does not show the map. I have to open other browsers in order to see the map. I have not been able to figure out why or what to do. The map page just appears as black.

subtitles appearing on all YouTube content, even though subtitles turned off. I have toggled the cc button and also subtitles in settings with no luck. The cc box does work to turn subtitles in not YouTube videos.
