This is on Windows 10 Home Edition 64-bit Since latest update to version 79.0 (64-bit), Firefox is shutting itself down automatically whenever I click to close an active tab and there is only one extra tab open that is an empty “Private Browsing” tab. Before the latest update to version 79.0 (64-bit), Firefox did not shut itself down automatically. The blank “Private Browsing” tab would remain open and Firefox would keep running normally. Thanks for any help.

Very strange behavior... when I switch from my primary user profile on my mac over to my work one (while leaving the primary one, and Firefox, open), my Firefox tabs start closing in my primary profile in the background, one by one.

And it's directly correlated to amount of time spent in the work profile... if I switch over to the work profile, then switch back a few minutes later, all FF tabs are still there. But if I remain in the work profile for 20+ minutes then switch back, a few tabs will have closed. If I'm in the work profile for hours, when I switch back 10 or 15 tabs will have closed.

I know it's not an add-on issue, because I've tested it while in Safe Mode, and it still happens. I don't even know how to begin troubleshooting this. Anyone have any ideas?

Hello. It would be good to get "Close tabs to the right" and "Close other tabs" back from submenu to the main menu and get an option to assign keyboard shortcuts for those commands. This would take just one line more and save a lot of time. Thanks.

I have Tweetdeck in a pinned tab. There are a lot of columns, which I navigate by swiping left/right on my Magic Mouse. When I swipe to the left, to return to the first column, it often swipes a little bit too far and Firefox interprets that as a request to "back arrow" to the previous page, which is my Firefox home screen.

Is there any way to disable this behavior, so that a long left swipe will move the screen all the way to the left edge and stop there, without going all the way back to the Firefox home screen?

I have verified that the settings are to open links in a new tab but they still open in a new window and the new window has tabs I previously closed. This problem arose after Microsoft did an update to Windows 10 in which my default browser (Firefox) was replaced with Edge. When I reset Firefox as my default the problem appeared. Prior to the update links opened in a new tab as I intended.

Is it possible to have several PiPs running simultaneously in separate 'windows'?

The PiP view is actually really useful just for losing all the window decorations - panels, info/status/bookmark/title/tab bars etc.

It would be useful to be able to pop out two, three or more different videos (e.g. multiple youtube videos) to arrange them around the screen with optimal scaling/space usage to fit them all in.
