I recently deleted accounts and passwords that were stored in Firefox under my web browser account. Is there anyway I can get that data restored? I have access to the same email/account in Firefox, but need to restore the deleted website account/credential data.

I use Mozilla on two things, my laptop and my android cell phone. The syncing on my cell phone appears to work perfectly well. However, when I am on my laptop, I am unable to view my "Tabs from Other Devices" - It will show me tabs from days ago. I've tried manually syncing on both devices but nothing happens.

The only thing that seems to work is if I log out of my Mozilla on my cell phone and log back in but then it will stop syncing again.

If something else isn't syncing, I honestly don't notice because I don't use anything else much.

Please help an old dummie? I have an existing FF install on a laptop. I would like to clone it (with bookmarks, settings tiles etc) onto a new PC. An article I read said open FF on the PC you want to sync. This is confusing! "Synchronising" is ambiguous, meaning 2-way. (but which way) "copy from" & "copy to" would be clear. I am worried I will synch(copy) from the new to the old....... effectively deleting/wiping out all my preferences in my original install. OR (preferably) Is there a way to just copy the whole installation from my original PC onto a USB stick & installing FF to the new PC from it? Many Thanks

I'm not currently able to sign into my UK account using this link: https://www.mozilla.org/en-GB/account/ When I type in my email address and click continue I just get a circular loading symbol going round and round forever. I'm able to sign in using the US sign in link for some reason. I'm not able to sign into Firefox overall though, so none of my bookmarks etc. are synced. I have tried on two different laptops a week apart with the same results.

I want to transfer my bookmarks from Firefox on my old Windows laptop to a new MacBook. I have followed the instruction and signed into Firefox on both devices and click 'synchronise now' on my Macbook.

Nothing has happened.

I would be grateful if you could tell me whether I am doing things incorrectly and if you could tell me how to have my numerous Firefox bookmarks from Windows appear on the new Macbook.

Hi, Since the update today to 127.0 My sidebar bookmark will not load when I open Firefox. Here is what I have done so far,

Uninstalled Firefox and use the restore on reinstall. didn't work deleted the xulstore file in 3 location. didn't work Removed Firefox using Revo Uninstaller and installed from the local setup file. didn't work Uninstalled ad-ons that used the sidebar, IE Video DownloadHelper, Sync my account, and tryed the step above again. didn't work I use Revo again and did a search for any firefox file, deleted old firefox folder on desktop and any file I could find with a link to the browser. Reinstalled from local file.

When Firefox started this time there was no profile to log in my account "" password etc "", I did a test and the sidebar was working correctly. I then activated my account and the side bar stop working on restart. Not that I did a sync after removing a few ad-ons, see pic for left addons.

I am sorry that my letter has caused you trouble but I have to ask you for help to solve the problem I was facing. I forget to save my account Password when I uninstalled the Firefox browser and I didn’t log in to my account at the time.But I’m in hurry and need it too.Can you help me get it back?Thank yo very much! For years I had my Firefox sync working fine between Win10 PC, Android and several Win10 laptops. However yesterday I installed Windows 11 on the same PC I have Windows 10 (bought new disk) just to have a fresh install. Started with installing firefox - and here when problems begin. It couldn't let me log in into Sync, I was being immediately logged out ("Account disconnected"). Somehow I managed to log in, but then all my previous data was erased (passwords, bookmarks). I thought ok, maybe later it's gonna sync. Started installing extensions, saved one password. When trying to sync tabs with Android phone it didn't work, it couldn't see any tabs (but it could share tabs between devices!). On Android I still have old passwords and bookmarks saved, same as on old Win10 (on which I got logged out). Alright - it didn't sync after restart so I removed Firefox profile on machine, started again with logging in - and it synced only ONE password that I saved previously on same Win11 machine, with extensions I freshly installed back then. So it saved to sync improper data, forgetting about old? Logged out from all of my machines in Firefox Account. Now I'm back to my original machine on Windows 10. And what? I can't log in! Same error as on Win11 after install - "Account disconnected". Checked about:sync-log and found error logs - pasted into "Troubleshooting information" of this post.

On September 15, 2022 I created this thread here on Firefox Support Forum and now I finally have an answer to the question, but as we can see my thread was archived and I can't update anything, so I decided to create a new thread just to mark my previous question as solved and bring it an answer.

I contacted Mozilla Firefox developers and got a response: Firefox is no longer integrated with Gravatar. Considering this, I can tranquilly say there is no bug or problem with my account as I thought. It's a pity that Firefox no longer support Gravatar integration, and even if I use an old version I will face the same "issue" because the Gravatar integration was a online feature linked to the Firefox account*, not to the browser itself.

• Actually I made a mistake when I wrote this, the Gravatar integration was an online feature linked to the Mozilla account, not Firefox. James explained the distinction on #4 post of the current thread.

Last edit: On January 31, 2023 I created this thread on r/firefox but no one answered precisely. This current thread here on Firefox Support Forum also solves what was asked on reddit. The thread created on January 31, 2023 and posted on r/firefox was archived as well, like what happened to my thread with the same theme here on Firefox Support Forum, then I also created a new thread on r/firefox to mark my question as solved.

The title pretty much sums it up. I even tried drastic measures such as logging out then completely uninstalling Firefox and removing any leftover data on both platforms. After reinstalling and connecting to the Firefox account they will sync with previous data but any new data I add on Windows won't show up on Android and vice versa. I also obviously tried forcing a sync manually... I really wish I didn't have to switch to another password manager any help would be greatly appreciated! :)
