I've done everything I could find on the internet as to fix this issue like I've checked and unchcecked play DRM content in the settings and cleared cookies and cache and everything but nothing seems to be fixing the issue. Also, everytime I load Netflix I get a little yellow dialogue box saying installing components please try again. This happens everytime I load Netflix. Now when I click on any video it asks me to install SilverLight, I've installed it already but still it asks me to install it to play the video.

The Thunderbird add-on Theme and Font Size Changer works reasonably well for Thunderbird, so is there a corresponding add-on for Firefox?
I know that Firefox is largely developed by people who are volunteers, but it seems that a tool, as part of the basic Firefox program, should be available to make these changes without installing add-ons or modifying the code manually. Almost everyone needs to be able to tweak these things at one time or another.

I no longer see ads when I read email, look at a magazine or newspaper article etc. Some sites don't like this and won't let me view what's on them because I am blocking ads. I have looked at Options>Privacy and Security>Tracking Protection and it is not turned on. It is only on when I use a privacy window which I am not using. I have no idea where to look to be able to modify this. I have cookies enabled.
I will admit I have far fewer crashes now that the ads do not display in email and I am happy about that but when a site I belong to won't let me read there because ads are blocked that becomes a problem. Do I have any control over this feature? I only use Firefox on my pc that runs Win 7 Professional and I use version 60.3 esr 32 bit because I still run into situations where Java is required and it was explained in an earlier question that I should use Firefox esr because of this.

Until today the options for stopping videos auto playing worked OK, suddenly they don't work at all. I had changed all the settings in about:config - please see screen shot attached - a couple of weeks ago when they suddenly started auto playing and that solved the issue, but now I am back to square one. Even when I have ensured that the autoplay option is changed in the preferences section they are still auto-playing. Any suggestions please as this is driving me crazy!

It looks like it is trying to load under Windows 10 but ultimately what is displayed is a blank screen.

I have as the other solutions asked refreshed firefox to it's factory state but that has still not solved the problem. I use FF 65.0 / 64 bit Windows 10 Pro N / 1809 / Built 17763.292 Nvidia driver 418.81
In this version of windows, but also in the last one, FF causes Windows blue screens (KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED). It happens after some time working with the browser, especially when many tabs are open and videos are played. But not always - I cannot reproduce it. I just know it always happens when I browse in FF.

Now, links open in the same tab, no matter how I select options under "TABS". Getting back to where I started can be very tedious and confusing.
Opening links in a new tab would be OK, but that doesn't work either. All links open in the same tab.

For Hardware Acceleration, I've tried to disable and enable and disable it again with no change. I tried to read around and turned on "Prevent accessibility services from accessing your browser" as well, hearing that some people have tried that with results. I do not have an actively scanning antivirus running, nor firewall. I had this issue before the upgrade to Quantum. I did a completely clean upgrade in hopes of fixing it, and I'm still having issues. Daily. It's been ongoing for several months at this point.

How do I prevent the CTRL-F shortcut from engaging in full-screen mode?
When I want to search for something on a website, I hit CTRL-F which activates full-screen mode. I would like to know this shortcut can be reprogrammed to search for some… (funda kabanzi)
When I want to search for something on a website, I hit CTRL-F which activates full-screen mode. I would like to know this shortcut can be reprogrammed to search for something within a page instead of activating full-screen. I tried searching this community and on-line for this information but could not find it. Thank you for your time. I use Mozilla FireFox 67.0.4.

Few month ago Firefox become extremely slow on one of my PC Windows 10 (Chrome etc works perfect). I have few PC, different operating system and everything is OK with Firefox except one pc. I followed all fix/improve suggestions, nothing is help. After complete uninstall and new installation of browser (deleting all Firefox folders etc) the browser start working proper (reinstall of browser didn't help, i have complete uninstall it), but after few days the slow issues have back :( Is there some report/log diagnostic file that I can run and send you guys, these problem make me crazy :(
How can I get WebAdvisor to work for a Google search in Windows 7?
On both my Windows 10 machine and my Windows 7 machine, I am using Firefox Quantum 62.0.2 and the information at Tools>Add-on>Extensions says that McAfee WebAdvisor… (funda kabanzi)
On both my Windows 10 machine and my Windows 7 machine, I am using Firefox Quantum 62.0.2 and the information at Tools>Add-on>Extensions says that McAfee WebAdvisor 6.0.0.136 is enabled.
I get the McAfee WebAdvisor green icons to show up for a Google search on my Windows 10 machine. However, I cannot get them to show up for a Google search on my Windows 7 machine.
Why do I get the green icons in a Firefox Google search on the Windows 10 machine, but I do not get them on the same search on the Windows 7 machine??? Google is a default search engine for Firefox on both machines.
I might add that I get the green icons for a Bing search on both the Windows 7 and the Windows 10 machine. Bing is also a default search engine on both machines. But, only Windows 10, and not Windows 7, will show the green icons in a Google search. This is strange!! What can I do to get them to show up in the Firefox browser Google search on Windows 7??
I read a post there dated 9/21/2018 that said Firefox 62 doesn’t support WebAdvisor. But that doesn’t seem to be true, 1) McAfee WebAdvisor is listed as an add-on; 2) I get the green icons when I do a Bing Search on my Windows 7, and I get the green icons when I do a Bing search AND a Google search on my Windows 10. It’s only a Google search on Windows 7 that does not produce them. What can I do to get them to show up for a Google search in Windows 7?

I would like to change the title bar so that it says "Google - Microsoft Internet Explorer". See the attached image.
