Everything I sign in to my account I I will get 4 different emails alerting me of the sign in and it always stresses me out thinking someone else mightve signed into my account at the same time time I did. I have 2 different email addresses associated with my account, the main on and the recovery one. So it makes sense why Im getting the "new sign-in" email twice but I dont understand why I'm getting it twice to both emails. All sign ins come from the same IP address but not mine (I use a VPN) but 2 will have a slighty different time (2-3 minutes) than the other 2. I also have 2 factor authentication set up with Microsoft authenticatior so is the double authentication what might be causing the double emails? I'm sorry if the way I worded this makes no sense but I'm super serious about security and Im tired of changing my password out of fear everytime I do new sign-in.

Hi,

I have today logged in to a specific webpage on my energy providers website and find that Firefox does NOT display the option to open a chat which is clearly displayed in the Chrome Browser (Screenshots attached).

I have navigated to "Settings/Privacy & Security", scrolled down to "Permissions" and can confirm that the "Block pop-up windows" option is NOT enabled.

I am obviously missing a setting somewhere, can anyone advise?

Thanks

Protections Dashboard & Login breach information

I'm hereby re-started this thread because what this topic is about was NOT answered in my last thread and it was only closed because of a disgruntled Moderator.

FIrefox/Mozillas is contacting a 3rd party website even when ALL related settings are disabled. It also stores that data somewhere without allowing us to reset it. And on top of if even after deleting the data from said 3rd parts website Firefox/Mozilla's Privacy Dashboard still shows/uses it with us being able to reset it.

The whole discussion so far can be found here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1393590 I'm here for real answers and solutions, not answers of a Moderator who thinks he knows what he's talking about but in reality isn't

Hello,

this topic is about two things.

1. How do I reset the data of the built-in Protections Dashboard without resetting all of Firefox?

2. and probably more complicated, how do I stop Firefox from checking for "Login breach information"?

I do already have and always had "Show alerts about passwords for breached web sites" in options disabled. Still the Dashboard shows that "1 password stored securely.".

Mozilla says "Firefox Monitor warns you if your online accounts were involved in a known data breach. For more information, see Firefox Password Manager - Alerts for breached websites. To get the latest login breach information and more, Firefox connects to firefox.settings.services.mozilla.com/"

So now I've gone as far as blocking "firefox.settings.services.mozilla.com" through HOSTS. Still the Dashboard shows that "1 password stored securely.".

Why is it still checking? How is it still checking? How do I stop this?

Firefox (107.0) remembers passwords and logins, also ,history correctly and works fine when I check "Ask to save logins and passwords for websites" and "Remember search and form history" under Privacy and Security tab in settings page but when Firefox or computer is turned off or restarted these settings are not kept and are unchecked. When I go to settings page and recheck these items every thing works fine. How can I get Firefox to remember my settings choice, this feature has worked perfectly for a long time but has only started doing this recently. I cant remember if it started after an update or not but I don't think so.

New Tab Override extensions also doesn't helps, because of restriction for extensions to use full javascript. It gives the error: Content Security Policy: The page’s settings blocked the loading of a resource at inline (“script-src”).

So these days mozilla crop. actually totally blocked the ability for users to use their own files as their own new tab, and blocked for extensions to access local files or full-functional javascript on their own pages, which is not just ridiculous but malicious.

So how can i use my local file with full-functional javascript as new tab?

Its not wholly unusual, when visiting website using Firefox, having to switch to Chrome due to to login related issues.

Today, Target won't accept my credentials, even tho It didn't behave this way several days ago. In the past week or two, I've had to do this for at least 3 different sites.

I know this is probably related to Firefox strict security protocols, but is there nothing to be done about it?

Everytime I try to send a politically sensitive email. I get disconnected from my server and my email is disabled. I am running PC Matic malware protection, a VPN. It doesn't matter. Big Brother is always looking over my shoulder, suppressing everything that they deem is not in line with the governments agenda. I have been shut out of my browser on occasion, so I can't get to my banking login. They have scrambled and deleted certain contacts on my contact list. I have changed my email, passwords, ISP, computer now using Windows10, upgraded everything but still cannot block this monitoring system. If I write a letter to my MPP my computer noticeably slows down and just locks up, they change my port settings, etc so I can not send it. Whatever monitoring program walks right past my VPN, kicks my PC Matic aside and simply locks me out, I have been to our local police station, the RCMP. they say the government can do as they please and I have no say!!!! This is a profound violation of our Charter of Rights. How can I find out who is at the root of this and how do I stop it? could you find out who is doing this to me? Would you have any suggestions on how to block this electronic eavesdropping. Thanking you in advance for your help in this matter I remain yours truly Greg Mahoney

Hi. FF 107.0 64bit Up until yesterday I could open Facebook in a normal window, but yesterday it only opened to a white screen with a top banner with the FB logo on the left and grey circles on the right. I searched on here and Google and found this was a fairly kcommon problem. I opened FB in a Private window and all was well. I could also open FB in MS Edge no problem. I have tried the recommended guide to Settings> Privacy> clear cache/data/cached web content>clear. No change, still white screen in a normal window. As far as I remember I have not changed any setting or even gone into tools for sometime. I am at a loss as to what to do. Seems many others have this problem and have not been able to find a solution which does not give me much confidence. I am on Win10 fully updated.

Good Day, I'm using Firefox 107.0 . I have two expired personal certificates issued by SAP, a very large Business Application Company. I also have a current recently issued certificate that doesn't expire until Nov. 2023. Trying to connect to the Support site for the Company, I'm informed that my certificate has expired. I expect that's because the certificates are listed in order of oldest to newest, and the expired certificates are hit before the new one, which is likely not checked. I go into Privacy and Security Settings, to the View Certificates option, and delete the two expired certificates, then click OK. I go back to view the certificates, and the deleted certificates are still there. I still cannot connect to the Company site. When is was using MS IE, i was able to delete expired certificates without any issue. How can i safely delete expired Personal Certificates in Firefox, without having to delete many other things that I do not want to have to deal with re-establishing, which would be a significant time sink. Thank you! George P.

I have different options on my Tablet v My Laptop. The tablet shows "connected services", and lists a work computer I haven't had for two years. I don't find "connected services" on the laptop, but the versions both show fully updated. When I try to force a log-off, the systems sends a "Log On" pin to my email. Makes no sense to me. Any ideas on how to fix? Thanks
