I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

I've been reading all the information about notifications, but I can't seem to stop the small popouts that slide into sight from the upper right side of the browser page. They appear to be from my gmail repeating whatever latest email has arrived on my page. I've tried so much on the settings page, I am now in the fog of war. Can't see where/what I am supposed to do. This just started 8-10 days ago. I'm not sure what has triggered it, but it's really annoying. Any ideas on how to resolve this? Answers have to be in plain English, please. Thank you.

I have a problem with youTube. I've always been able to access my channel sections simply by clicking on the section title with no issues. However, since last night, that is not working. Now, the only way I can see all the playlists in each section is if I right-click and open in a new tab.

Any ideas what's up? As far as I'm aware, it's not a connection problem and I've cleared the cache etc. Using a Mac.

It's a real pain having to open sections in a whole load of different tabs. Any pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated! Also, I'm not very tech-savvy :(

Up until 2 weeks ago, all ESPN+ and ESPN3 content played on my Mac. It no longer does. When clicking on the start button the screen goes to black, the title of the content appears, but no video. Firefox 109.0.1 MacOS 10.12.6 Content plays as expected with Safari

I have forms downloaded and now I want to use typing to fill in answers. I don't want to print -- I need to do my own typing!! So how do I do it?? Previously I could do. Why no longer?? dave

A few Firefox for Mac updates ago, the Wells Fargo website colors changed with Firefox for Mac, and the other browsers still display Wells Fargo the right way. On the current versioin of Firefox for Windows, the Wells Fargo website still looks the way it should.

Attached are 2 screen shots of Wells Fargo's website. One screen shot, using Chrome for Mac shows the Wells Fargo colors correctly. The other screen shot using the updated Firefox for Mac shows the colors wrong, pretty much without colors, etc...

How can this be fixed so that we can use Firefox for all browsing?

Worked flawlessly until .0.1 update. Now when I pinch out (or in) nothing happens. I checked about:config for pinch and all the settings seem to be properly in place.

For over 6 weeks, and only on Netflix Canada, we (family members) have been getting the padlock with a triangle in the address bar only after I log into Netflix. This occurs on any and all of our 4 computers using all of the 3 different internet providers, one of which is the largest Internet provider in Canada, BELL including also the their BELL Mobility Network. I appreciate that as you can see we're using older operating systems, but Firefox reports our version 110 is up to date. Our adult children have much newer computers and later if not the latest Mac OS, and are attempting to access Netflix from other internet providers elsewhere in the province of Ontario. One of them is using the next largest internet provider in Canada, or at least the province, ROGERS. She too is still having this problem. I've been through the mill with Netflix's support people and they blame you guys and our internet providers. I cannot resolve the issue, and for that reason we have ceased using Netflix because of the implicit security vulnerability attached.

What can I do about this? -Peter

I have loved being a Mozilla-stuff user intermittently since teaching on Netscape 1.1, and now am making Firefox 98.02 my default browser. I like both Safari and Firefox, and sometimes use them simultaneously for two accounts on the same service (not right now). My physically pristine 2015 Mac cannot install OS's past the 10.12 I have, so Safari is failing. But I am exasperated at runarounds when trying to set up this Firefox account. I used the emailed verification code and seemed to get in, but got the red-box message "This account... administrator... error." I cannot tell whether the site is letting me use it normally, but I think not. I just spent an hour in help forums. Geesh, tech complexity has mushroomed since my LAN work in the 90s, and you volunteers get to cope with inarticulate queries like mine! Upload is failing of jpg screen shot that has been made anonymous. Help?

Was inspired to follow the volunteer link. Would like to contribute my extensive tech knowledge and (English) writing and editing skills in your help articles. Coordinating Korean translations with my life partner is also a possibility as it could help me learn their language more quickly.

Step one says to sign up, but not finding the link for that, or for orientation videos noted in step 2.

Please help me help Mozilla! :-).

I don't know what happened because the browser was working fine earlier this morning and I didn't do anything to compromise it. I didn't go to settings and change anything. I suspect someone may have 'hacked in,' if that is still even a 'thing.' I think this because when I try to shut off my internet temporarily someone turns it back on and I usually have to 'fight' with whoever that is to get my internet to go off. I tried to ask google a question I wanted the answer to. That question was, how long does the flu last (because I have it or covid.) I also asked how long does covid last. What happened was that spinning thing where it was continually searching but never going to the site. Can you help, please? Thanks in advance if you can.

I'm trying to make a new Firefox Account with an email address I have for school, but it keeps saying that it is invalid. I believe it is because the latter half, instead of being @gmail.com or whatever, is @port*********.org. I tried logging in with another email that had @gmail.com and it worked just fine.

What I'm really asking is: Is there a way around this or is this in vain?

Please allow for my Emails to be delivered. Many for the last few days are returning as Failed Delivery! I use PoBox ([edited email from public] @pobox.com) to stop Hackers. That email address then send my emails to my [edited email from public] @gmail.com Why has this become a problem? Whoever changed this in my Gmail needs to be Fired !!

So I updated today as requested and now all the sites I had previously checked to allow pop ups etc on are no longer functioning.
