I have not been able to connect to www.paperbackswap.com for 2 days using Firefox. I get this message - The page isn’t redirecting properly-An error occurred during a connection to www.paperbackswap.com. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies. This is a persistent problem happening every few days. I have sent messages before to PBS and Firefox with no response. I have cleared cookies and added PBS to Firefox as a site to always accept cookies. I can access the site using Chrome but I would prefer Firefox. Is there anything that can be done?

I have a Plesk (apache) server that is behind HAProxy. When I connect securely to a web site through HAProxy using Firefox, I get long delays. If I use Safari or Chrome, the pages come right up without any delay.

If I connect to the Plesk server directly without HAProxy in the middle, there are no delays.

I do not know what would cause these delays that don't occur with other browsers.

I'm on a Mac: 115.0.2 (64-bit)

Whenever I click a button on the keyboard, the CTRL+F function comes up on it's own. I had previously disabled it because it ruins all shortcuts on youtube and with tourettes, I often also get thrown around if I am reading long articles, because of misclicks.

Unfortunately I did the big mistake of updating, also with a tourettes-missclick, so my question is: 1) How do I remove the 'quick'-search function? I want the Ctrl+F bar to come up ONLY WHEN I CLICK ctrl+F, and I want it to go away again if I click ctrl+F again. I forget how to do it. 2) How do I remove all future update prompts? Given that it has been made so hard to configure firefox into something tolerable, I don't want to throw all my setup away with minor updates always thrown at me. It takes me a long time every time there's an update, I have to fix language and other stuff back again. It's just not worth it in time for me to use Firefox, if I have to make a setup so often. 3) Recommendations for the best version of Firefox to go back to and stay in for eternity, alternatively, browsers that does not change or add functions without first asking the user... (The answer is no, by the way, I don't want more new fancy functions)

Sorry for this nagging but I simply can't use my browser like this. It's just not working.

West Virginia has a website to download old death certificates, but they wont load. There's nothing but a blank page. I'm not positive that it's a Firefox problem, as a friend of mine who uses IE cant load them either, however, she CAN load them on her Tablet. As a historian, I really need to get these records for my research, so I was wondering if someone could go to the site and see of the records appear for them to be downloaded. Hopefully you can help. I know this may be a Microsoft issue or question but I'm having trouble in finding a reasonable way to contact them for help. My question is, my computer runs slow, and so I thought I would clean up my files by using the Microsoft disk clean up procedure. I did so. But, my specific question is what is a good number to have when the it says a given number of disk space can be cleaned up? For example, I believe when I first tried to clean the disk it said 5.1 GB of disk space could be cleaned. When I ran the disk clean process and it completed it then said 66 KB of disk space could be cleaned. So how much disk space did I gain or get cleaned up? And, if I can only clean up 66 KB of disk space is that indicative of not really needing to clean the disk any farther? Hopefully some one can help. While this may be a Microsoft issue, I believe the Firefox contributors have enough computer knowledge to help answer my question. At least that is my hope. Thank you.

I have a new installation of Ubuntu 22.04 on my 2015 Lenovo IdeaPad 300. I have a new SSD HD 1 TB in size and it should work, however, Firefox keeps crashing. Other apps are crashing too.

Having used Thunderbird for some time, I installed it on a new PC, and found that virtually all my emails on a particular account seem to have been deleted, despite the app being set up to retain them. I checked on the webmail (BT) and they have gone. The account is set up as IMAP - as is another account on the same server, which seems OK. BT won't engage with me on this as they "don't support third party apps" I assume that 3 years worth of important client history is gone for ever? Can anyone suggest what I did wrong, or is this a software failure?

Over the last year I have uninstalled FF removed settings then reinstalled from scratch. Its been over a year now and FF never can pin point where I am at. Today it says I am 1300+ miles from where I am. I really don't want to go back to using Chrome but it appears I will have to as it normally has my exact position. I travel for 6 months of the year and have 3 internet connections shared via an internal WiFi that I use 99% of the time. They are connected via Starlink, GoogleFi (T-Mobile) and AT&T SIMs. I have a SSID with the _nomap suffix and that fixes Chrome but FF NEVER seems to know where I am, no matter how many times I clear the browsing data. I really don't want to go back to Chrome, but I cannot do my work if FF thinks I am somewhere else all the time. Geez, If only there was an addon or extension that would override FF location so I could tell it where I am. I'm in FF Hell. -Bill

right click menu copy not clickable,cant copy but when I hit ctrl + c and copy something first then i can copy within the right menu fine with the same site, and no this is not a site issue chromium works just fine.

three weeks ago the Babbel playback gave me all shortened responses. Like I would hear "respon" instead of response. I switched over to Microsoft Edge. After first bad response all subsequent responses were normal--fully sounded.

Hello, i used to watch betfair live videos on firefox, but since the last update, some of the videos simply don't work. Was there any changes made to the videos player?

Sadly im forced to use another browser to see the videos.

Only withing my firefox browser search bar, and in the last updates for about 2 years; I can no longer, continuous spacing a word forward. Even right now on this page, I can continous space-forward a word within a sentence, while I'm writing. And this feature is important, when in your thought process. So is their a fix towards this problem; And what are the steps to permanently keep this from happening again ?

Hello, my websites that I use when at work are now not functioning, including but not limited to

class link, google drive, google forms, google doc, google sheets

I can't access any of them or share any of them with coworkers for some reason. Of course Google browser lets me do everything however, I prefer fire fox instead, because I have been using FFox for many years.

So someone please fix this issue!

I maintain the website for a small dog club and use Wordpress with plug-ins to provide page flipping through pdf files in a members only area of the site. The plug-in is D-flip. I have attached .jpg files made using the Fireshot extension both FF and Chrome browsers. I also saved the page as an .htm format file which when displayed does not appear the same as the original page.

When I go to google search on Firefox and search for something in images, every result loads instantly. When I go to duck duck go in firefox, there is randomly huge communication lag time between pressing enter and a result populating (usually more than 30seconds-2min where normally it is instant) and a good majority of the image thumbnail results do not display. It didn't used to do this and I think something screwed something up on my computer. What can cause this?

Things I have tried: Resetting Firefox Deleting and Reinstalling Firefox Deleting all cache/cookies/Mozilla files in %appdata, program files, and other locations and reinstalling.

I prefer to use DDG over Google. Can someone help? Why is it doing this?

Pubmed Central (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/) is a commonly used website for literature reading in life sicences research. I found that it takes a lot of time to load the PMC web page, and even worse to access an aricle in it, always more than 10 seconds (for example, https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1234567/). These pages access smoothly in other browsers on my computer (MacBook Pro with M1, macOS Sonoma 14.0). I've tried the troubleshoot mode, and clearing all the cookies and cache, but it just doesn't work.

Hi, I have just returned from China. I use a Macbook Pro and am operating Firefox 118.0.2 (64-bit) I now find that when I use Firefox to access websites blocked in China (i.e google, the Guardian) I get a "Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue" message. I can access everything with a VPN active I also got this for Microsoft Edge but the problem resolved by clearing cookies (didn't work for firefox) How can I fix this
