I used to be able to go to full screen mode without a problem. Now, since the last couple of updates, the screen will no longer go to full screen. It goes to about 66% and that is it. Running version 65.0b4. Thank you

Chrome loads with a bunch of stuff in network tools.

Edge is also not working.

Windows Diagnostic said the DNS server might be working - by why is one browser working but not the other?

For example I'm on "https://www.google.fr/", I type the shortcut and the search bar becomes "? " with caret at the end.

(My address bar and search bar are the same)

I can#t watch any videos on any website in fullscreen because the damn Firefox then goes tiny and sits in the upper left corner of my desktop, what the hell? No renaming program files and refreshing Firefox didn't help. In fact it is that way since i refreshed Firefox.

I recently downloaded latest Firefox Developer Edition. While checking all its options, on General settings, I clicked What's New and it took me to New Tab. That's it, only New Tab, nothing else.

Videos played on Youtube or Netflix are partially transparent and show the window(s) or wallpaper on the desktop behind.

I'm attaching a screenshot of playback of a full screen Youtube video. Behind this, there was another Firefox window with an (old) Youtube logo in the top right quadrant. This logo in the window behind shows through the full screen video playing in front of it. You can see it in the attached screenshot right above the tip of the flare. This happens only with Firefox and Firefox Developer Edition and not with Chrome.

Hi, A few hours ago I cleared the last hour of recent history, FYI I checked browsing & download history, form & search history and cache when doing it but after that I realised all my closed windows and tabs were lost except the ones being opened.

In the session backup folder there is only 2 files, recovery.baklz4 and recovery.jsonlz4. Actually I just checked, there is 3 now, previous.jsonlz4, but they're all pretty much the same, after I lost those windows and tabs, and the former two seem to be constantly saving themselves, not sure why, is this supposed to be happening?

Usually there were upgrade backup files such as [upgrade.jsonlz4-date] but I don't have them in [sessionstore-backups], has something changed or is there something wrong with my browser?

When I realised my closed windows were gone I immediately made a backup but it was too late, they were all after I've lost the closed tabs and windows, and there were only two files (the files constantly saving I mentioned earlier).

So how should I proceed? I want to get my session restored but the last usable session backup I've made was months ago.

I just changed my windows and installed Mozilla firefox developer edition (65.0b7 (64-bit)), It says my account is synced bu nothing is synced at all. I have done syncing my exact account 4 or 5 time before with no problem. What should I do? tnx

After I upgraded my Firefox to 65 beta, the option in about:config, `gfx.font_rendering.cleartype_params.rendering_mode=5` seems not to be effective. Is the entry is now obsolete?

Hello everyone, I have noted that there is a problem with the last update (Firefox 64.0.2) because after updating my sidebar doesn't work anymore: the scroll bar doesn't work when you press down button (down arrow)

Since then I can't start, safe mode or any other way long enough to report it. I used FF Dev Ed last night (same program, same computer, same settings) and it worked fine. Now, nothing. Running latest version on 27" iMac, OS 10.13.6, 32 GB 1600 MHz DDR3. Can run FF Quantum 64.0.2, seems to work OK. Tried to refresh, downloaded new copy of Dev Ed software, same problem.

Ideas?

Hi, I get these warnings all the time, especially on reputable websites, banking websites, government websites, my own website, and many others. How do I turn off this admonition, so i don't have to click "trust" all the time? Thanks much, Jack

In the last 24 hours ish, of some sites I visit, Firefox comes up with 'Network Protocol Error' When I reload the site the error message goes away. It's not doing it on Google or Bing first time. The issue seems inconsistant too.... browsing to sites that caused the issue first time around no longer cause the error message to appear...... This issue has appeared on two desktop machines accessing the internet through same router/gateway with BT as the ISP.

Anyone else seeing this?

I cannot download anything. I cannot install ANY extension. uBlock extension. The only thing that works with so called third-party content -> onto my PC is `save-as`. I am struggling with this for more than a few hours and have tried EVERYTHING. I mean LITERALY EVERYTHING that can be found regarding this. Chromium browser works normally.

Have tried with default firefox-esr that ships with debian, and with Quantum 65 (current) version. Not a single change. I am using Debian (stable) Stretch, and no it is not firewall issue nor it is connection (proxy setup) issue, I strongly believe. Like I said, chromium just - works and I don't have sympathy for chromium nor I would like to gain some.

I am not even unable to upload an images of the issues I am experiencing.

This morning I brought up Firefox on my Win10 64 system as I always do, and immediately hit "ctrl-k" to get the cursor into the "awesome bar" (which is set to all three tick boxes in the privacy & security -> address bar settings.) Usually I enter shortcuts (set in bookmarks, like 'gm' for mail.google.com) so that I don't have to type in the full address. However that didn't work today because every time I hit "ctrl-k" a question mark automatically appears in the "awesome bar". It will search just fine but if I want to go to a web site or use a short cut I have to backspace over the question mark or it will just search for what I'm typing in. I tried clearing everything (ctrl-shift-del, tick all boxes, "for all time") and still the problem persists. I also unchecked all three tick boxes in Privacy & Security -> Address bar and it still happens. Disabled all addons and problem persists. Help! This is seriously getting in the way of my work flow. Please let me know if there's any information that you need. I consider myself a power user so don't be afraid to dive into the weeds if need be.

After updating Mozilla firefox my bookmarks & history tab not working properly. All Bookmarks lost & history tab not working. How to restore all bookmarks from backup files.

When I start to type an address in the URL bar, I get a drop down box directly below the url/address bar. The dropdown, which is as wide as my firefox window, contains a little magnifying glass icon and the text "Search with duckduckgo"

I don't want this drop down box at all but I can't seem to disable it.

I do not have anything checked (browsing history, bookmarks, or open tabs) checked under address bar in my privacy and security settings, and I do not have provide search suggestions checked in my search settings.

I tried this solution:

(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful.

(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste URLB and pause while the list is filtered

(3) Double-click the browser.urlbar.autocomplete.enabled preference to switch the value from true to false

when I tried this, the value for the browser.urlbar.autocomplete.enabled preference was already set to false, so this solution didn't help.

I would really appreciate some help removing this drop down. Thank you for reading.
