how can i unblock websites that i have blocked..i went to the folder and found the block list not sure how to delete them..i have tried but there is no delete button

I'm stuck with a "Babylon" version of the "search the web" facility on the toolbar to the right of the address bar. I've searched for access to it but had no success. Can anyone help?

The Silverlight plugin crashes every time i try to watch a video at the Universal Sports website. I have uninstalled this plugin and re-enstalled it many times with no success

Despite following both Firefox and Flash directions, Firefox won't play videos from YouTube, Hulu, etc. They either never load or they load and freeze within seconds. Before I got the latest versions of Firefox and Flash, I did not have this problem. So there must be a problem in one or both of them. Since I understand from various websites that this is a widespread problem, can Firefox fix this? It's a major flaw in the latest Firefox version.

When I open a new tab it opens a Bing search window instead of a blank page like it used to. When FF starts it opens a blank page like it should, but if I click on the + to the right of the current tab is when the Bing tabs open. It's just a Bing search window not the Bing homepage. If needed I can submit a screenshot of the new page. I use 2 addons affecting tabs. Multiple Tab Handler, and Colorful Tabs. I think SlimBrowser is an IE based browser. I use Win pro 64 bi on a HP laptop and FF 3.6.8 I've never had this problem all the years I used FF until now Any Ideas? Thanks Floyd

I had just updated Firefox, I opened up Google, googled something and entered into the first webpage that came up- or tried to. What I got was a box from Firefox saying:

You have chosen to open the file

(URL of the webpage)

which is an application/octet-stream What would you like to do with this file?

          []Open With...   [Browse] (as a button)

          []Save As...

                           [Ok]              [Cancel]

This happens with every webpage that isn't from Google or Mozilla. If I hit Cancel, the webpage won't load, if I select Save As, no program I have can open it and if I select Open With, same situation. So... what gives? What's an application/octet-stream? Why won't Firefox open webpages apart from Google or Mozilla pages (my previous version of Firefox worked fine)?

A lot of times when I tried to load Firefox I get the message "A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.

Every time I ask for Google search, firefox "http://www.search.babylon.com...." appears and the results are not good. I had unistalled the babylon extension and the babylon.exe, but the issue is the same. What must I do with Firefox?

I keep getting the message "Although this page is encrypted, the information you have entered is to be sent over an unencrypted connection and could easily be read by a third party". I have unchecked all the boxes in the Tools>Options>Security>Settings. They weren't checked to begin with. In fact, if I select the "I'm about to view an encrypted page that contains some unencrypted information" option I get a dialog box that looks completely different and is worded "You have requested an encrypted page that contains some unencrypted information. Information that you see or enter on this page could easily be read by a third party." When I click continue I get the the original message too! What is going on and how do I fix it?

I'm simply trying to restart firefox but want my windows to be saved...just like when you restart and firefox saves the websites you are on. How do I just restart the browers without losing my open websites?

After I open a few different pages or tabs within the pages, the plugin-container.exe max's my cpu usage and the system hangs horribly. It comes back and then hangs again. The plugin-container is reasonable new, because I don't recall seeing it in the Task Manager. Is there a way to fix this?? I know it's related to some apple piece of garbage software that I could totally do without if that helps.

I've lost the toolbar that shows 'file' 'view' 'edit' etc at the top, making it impossible to follow your directions to use the 'view' option to fix my toolbars. i have no idea how to access toolbars without this toolbar - i can't believe it allows for this toolbar to be removed (i did it accidentally whilst trying to get another toolbar reinstated). thanks for any help

I frequently work on a classified computer network that has no unclassified Internet access. It does have access to a classified Internet. I would like to use Firefox on such a computer, specifically to use the Zotero and Zotero Map Firefox plugins for capturing reference information.

whenever i load my browser either it be firefox or IE the title at the top of the screen before the webpage name always has a XXX: before it and i'd like to get rid of it along with that when loading webpages another webpage will load with it i've ran AVs numerous times along with malwarebytes and spybot but its still there any help?
